“Spratly Islands” is a nearly direct translation from the native Sprat language, Merxhilese, “Dhrhjna Irhgas” Irhgas translates to Island, while Dhrhjna. has no direct translation. It roughly translates to Spratly, although it is not exact.

[Scotatrova]

Scotatrova's endonym, Scotatrófidna, derives from Hescettgovas, which itself is said to be derived from Ancient Rodrehal הסכתקב (He-Scetqavas) meaning "Coast of the Hawks" or "Land of the Hawks". Rodraic coins circa 159 AD in the region show show a female figure with a hawk by her side, thus dubbing the region "Coast of the Hawks".

[Oddernia]

The name "Oddernia" is an anglicization of Oddernian Odrniya. This endonym originated as the innate indefinite collective form of odrn ("an Oddernian") — which derives from Wollni Sea Pidgin odoren ("a peninsular"), a compound of odo ("a peninsula") plus en ("a person") with the interfix -r-. The WSP word odo ultimately traces to Proto-Oddernic *ɣasdʷó, literally meaning "water knife" or "sea-cutter"; whereas WSP en has its origins in Proto-Oddernic *ɣáyin.

WSP odoren in its original context more specifically referred to the natives of Dobria and Northern Bezia, as opposed to the waren ("islanders") of the Kulan Islands and the taren ("mainlanders") of Asparisk. The official name of the Soviet Union in Russian is: "Союз Советских Социалистических Республик", or "Sojuz Sovetskih Socialističeskih Respublik"; literally translating as "Union [of] Soviet[ish] Socialist[ic] Republic[s]"

The term "Soviet" previously referred to a Russian word for "council"- such as the Petrograd Soviet. The term "Soviet" however has taken on a new meaning, and is considered- at least partially- to refer to the Soviet people as well. The name thus may also be translated as "Union [of the] Soviet [People's] Socialist[ic] Republic[s]"

Suryalaya is derived from Sanskrit word "Surya" (सूर्य) and "Alaya" (आलय). Surya means the sun, while Alaya means "place", which can be translated to "the place of the sun" or "the place where the sun rises"

Juhni derives from the Sylla term Juhd Mi, meaning Paradise Land. This has been shifted over nearly 1000 years to Juhni; this may be as a result of the mark of an adjectival in the Juhni language being Ni, or the 'Ni' suffix may have evolved to match the common meaning of Juhni among the populace, The Land [Juh] Of Our Own [Ni].

The name Arévala is extremely old, dating back to several long-lost civilizations that once inhabited the Kingdom's territories. Unfortunately its exact origin, like many other forgotten secrets, will likely remain a mystery forever, but there are two plausible theories behind the name:

1) It's descended from Celtic are ("near") and valon ("wall"). Arévala would've thus meant "the place near the wall".

2) It's descended from Latin aquifolium ("holly"). From there, it gradually evolved into Aquifolia, Acrifolia, Acrifula, Agrébola, and finally Arévala.

A popular misconception among the locals, is that the name comes from Latin aurea vallis ("golden valley"). However, that's highly unlikely to be the case, as the expected result would've been Orevaye, not Arévala.
