Excluding areas that have not been charted or explored within the jungles, approximately ninety percent of TurtleShroom has 2-G cell phone coverage. Sixty-nine percent of the TurtleShroomian population has some form of personal computer.

TurtleShroom briefly suspended the Internet after its introduction, due to failed infrastructure and an inability to process it. At the time of the initial suspension of the Internet in the 2000's AD, twenty percent of the TurtleShroomian population had a computer with Internet access.

As it stands today, the Internet is accessible by twenty-two percent of the population. The SHADY-Net, which has a Bulletin Board Service (BBS) and a File Transfer Protocol (FPS), is accessible by sixty-six percent of the population that owns a computer. Its prices are vastly lower than the actual Internet.

TurtleShroomian law considers the Internet a public utility, but all Internet access is run by Slowsky ISP, which has exclusive authority. Slowsky ISP is a private, for-profit member cooperative.
