Greetings, and welcome to the Embassy Program of the United States of Amaurita.
The United States of Amaurita is a large, populous nation located in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, bordered by the Arctic Gap to the north, the Pacific Gap to the west, the Atlantic Gap to the East, and by Atzlana, Cuba, and Granada to the South. The official language of the United States is English, although several other languages are recognized locally by several States, such as Scotatrovian, German, French, Dutch, and Italian.
The United States of Amaurita is a Semi-Presidential Federal Republic under a Semi-Direct Democracy, comprised of 200 entities officially referred to as 'Federal Subjects,' or otherwise known as States and Commonwealths, as well as one Federal District, each of which is comprised of a planetary entity and it's respective satellites. Federal Subjects are grouped into larger entities referred to as 'Regions,' which are more or less comprised of a Star System and its respective satellites. Regions do not hold any competencies of their own, and exist more as tool for which the Federal Government can coordinate with the States.
The United States of Amaurita takes an active role in international affairs, seeking to expand diplomatic contacts As such, Amaurita takes an active role in international affairs, and openly invites nations to seek the establishment of diplomatic relations with Amaurita.

Embassy Rules and Regulations
- All Embassies Shall be considered the territory of their respective nation.
- All Embassies shall be permitted to display the flag and/or other symbols of their respective nation on embassy grounds.
- All Ambassadors shall be permitted to bring their immediate families with them to reside at the Embassy, and shall be allotted the same diplomatic immunity that the Ambassador shall receive.
- Embassy Security Staff shall be limited to two handguns per person, one long gun per person, and three non lethal weapons per security guard.
- All Embassies shall be limited to the use of eight ground based vehicles, which shall require an official diplomatic license plate.
- All Embassy vehicles must be civilian vehicles, only. Light armor will be considered as acceptable.
- The United States of Amaurita reserves the right to order the closure and/or ejection of any Embassy from the United States at any time, for any reason.
