In my nation we have karhu luola which are round cakes filled with frosting and topped with two "ears" which are usually like a Flake bar. The cake is so called as it looks like a bear or cave.

Eaten at Christmas, this was believed to have been created in the city of Tuorejarvi in the 1960s or 1970s, this cake has got many variants.

[Nationalist Northumbria]

In Northumbria, the cheese-and-human pasty from Greggs is only available in the Sunderland area, due to a man falling into the cheese pasty machine in the Greggs Sunderland factory.

In Tangatarehua some of the local dishes are 'hint is in the name' if you speak Maori.

For example the city of Kaitohura literally translates to "Eat Whale" and though whale is a national dish all over the country, Kaitohura has a much larger selection of different types of whale and different recipes.

Similarly, Kaiika translates literally as "Eat fish", although the type of fish on offer here is unique due to the city's unique climate - lying in the tropical zone, the fish on offer here tend to more exotic (and also, if prepared incorrectly, a lot more poisonous) than fish found in the home islands.

The southern islands of Motumakariri and Rangiwhero, meanwhile, have become synonymous in the nation with "Ma Kumara" or "white kumara" which basically just means potato in the normal western sense, though in Tangatarehua non-sweet potatoes are usually the exception not the norm in meals, except in these southern islands whose colder climate lends itself to growing western-style potatoes rather than traditional kumara.

In the capital of Pilos Prefecture, Iren, Beryl Pilosū (Pilosian Bread), a pita-like flatbread, is enjoyed with feta and fried eggplant, for a snack called Sādıne Exerżȧnū (Eggplant Wrap), which has recently become a nationwide phenomena, sometimes referred to as Sādıne Pilosū (Pilosian Sandwich).

"Tengudariin" is a renowned snack food coming from the Federated State of Samgurtia which consists of raw cut salmon fish sandwiched between two white breads. The name itself literally means "fish in bread" in the Samgurtian language.

"Rohe Rosə" ,meaning pink drop in standard Estabanian Cactar (native language of the UCE), is a popular spring and summer snack food in the northwest of the UCE. It consists of a teardrop shaped dumpling of sweet dough traditionally filled with a mash of prickly pear, zucchini blossoms, strawberries, melon, and rhubarb. However bakers have been experimenting with fillings such as chocolate, berries, meat, and vegetables, but these are no where near as popular as the original.

Chicago's take on pizza, deep-dish, is a bit harder to eat on the street, but the city has a unique Spicy Polish Sausage at most of their hot dog stands

Philadelphia is famous for Cheesesteaks.

New Rotterdam is a foodie's paradise on Earth, but Baajoucruller and Bonhomme Richards (a type of sandwhich, usually with either shrimp or catfish) are the most likely local favorites to be eaten on-the-go.

Ellotes, or dressed-up corn on a stick, is an old street classic throughout the south central region, but is thought to have originated in Teyotewakan.

Crab Cakes originate from baltimore, but are now also popularly found in the capital, Kingston, and in Seattle, Washington, the latter of which also has a thing for Pork Buns, courtesy of its large Chinese Population

Port Haven is the center for the Midnight Sandwich, known off-island as "The Cuban"

The STRANGEST Street food in Piscatania may belong to Honolulu, Hawai'i, which presents, for your viewing (dis?)pleasure.... The Onigiri-Dog. American Cheese, Pineapple, the hot dog, rice, dried seaweed, all with...ketchup. Dirty Harry is very disappointed in you, Honolulu.
