Political ruling party/faction in your nation

Postby HarYan » Thu Nov 11, 2021 4:28 pm

Which is the political ruling group in your nation currently? What are its proposals and its political view?

Currently the Empire is ruled by the "Coalition" led by the National Liberal Party. The party is right-wing, moderately conservative in social issues, with variations depending on the issue. As the name implies, a combination of nationalist principles such as the preservation of sovereignty with agendas related to individual freedoms and economic freedom within the country. About it:

-> Centrist in terms of social issues, with variation depending on the issue.
-> Favorable to LGBT rights, but being against confrontations against the point of view of the more traditional population, thus opposing exaggerated indentitarianism.
-> Favorable keep abortion laws restrictive as they currently are in the country (banned except for exceptional cases).
-> Proposes to increase internal economic freedom by reducing bureaucracy and reducing taxes for small and medium businesses.
-> Favorable to a moderate protectionism to avoid the country's de-industrialization which would leave it vulnerable.
-> Favorable to combat judicial activism.
-> Social welfare limited to what a good fiscal responsibility permit.
-> Mixed models between public and private in the areas of education, health and social security.
-> Strengthen criminal laws and police forces.
-> Favorable the right to self-protection, and to a reasonable firearm legislation, that preserves the law-abding citizen right to own arms, with some reasonable prerequisites to prevent possible problems.
-> Heavy combat against narcoterrorism and drug trafficking. As well other terrorist, insurgent and criminal groups.
-> Increase in military investment, in the national defense industry, and focus on greater geopolitical projection.
-> Anti-communism, anti-fascism, anti-totalitarism.
-> Agrarian reform using public land and voluntary purchases for distribution.
-> Rational environmentalism balanced with productivism and without hysteria.
-> Stimulus to cooperativism.
-> Helps small and medium businesses.
-> Improvement of basic and technical education.
-> Stimulus to patriotism, repel identitarian narratives which generate divisions among compatriots.
-> Investments in nuclear energy.
-> Stimulate the population to use solar energy.
-> Investments in railways and ports.
-> Anti-globalism.
-> Preference for bilateralism over multilateralism. Foreign relations based on reciprocity.

And... Would YNs people, and YNs leader, vote for a party like this?

While its politics are officially non-partisan, the Technate of Port-Lalonde does have political factions, centered around somewhat informal groupings.

Politics are overall dominated by hardliners, represented by the various subgroups of the National Technocratic Association:

-> Technocratic system, where different "Technical Councils" exist to legislate and administer different topics, each of them being elected by and among "technicians" or experts, with the restrictions for eligibility stronger than the voting restrictions. Complete central planning of the economy. Education is seen as a fundamental right, and completely free and provided to all. Discrimination on basis of ethnicity, sex, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity is banned by the law.

Regarding the more specific ideology of the NTA:
-> Heavily protectionist economic policy, with an interest in self-reliance.
-> Heavy investments in research and new technologies, including transhumanism and space exploration.
-> Support for abortion and LGBTI+ rights.
-> Extreme anti-clericalism, with the most radical members downright advocating for state atheism. Religious organizations are under heavy state surveillance and get banned very often.
-> Harsh, and heavily skill-based immigration laws, with highly skilled immigrants welcomed while non-skilled immigrants are pretty much barred from entry.
-> "Bright green" environmentalism. Full ban on fossil fuels, with heavy use of nuclear energy and renewables. Heavy investments into nuclear fusion research.
-> Ban on private car usage, with support for bicycle usage, and a heavily developed public railroad network.
-> Mandatory one-year conscription, with support for a strong defensive military equipped with nuclear deterrence.
-> Opposes identitarian divisions of society, with an emphasis on national unity, egalitarian meritocracy and progress as a driving ideal.
-> Mandatory vaccination (except if impossible for health reasons) and very strong public health response in case of epidemics (including local/national lockdowns, complete closing down of borders, and tracking of the population in affected zones)

Considering AN's NLP, it would be far outside the political mainstream of the Technate. Economic and/or political liberalization are supported by some opposition groups, but things like mixed models on education and healthcare, banned abortion or legal firearm ownership are way outside the Overton window.

His Brittanic Majesty's North American Government as of the election this year consists of three parties technically:
- Whig Party (278)
- Aboriginal Peoples' Party (34)
- All-Union People's Coalition (80)

392/693 seats (56 percent majority) of the confidence-and-supply arrangement.

Dame Felicity Graves is the Whig Party leader and Prime Minister of the North American Union. Dean Fairchild is the APP Party leader and Deputy Prime Minister of the North American Union and Minister of External and United Commonwealth Affairs. There are three members of the PC parliamentary caucus as Junior Ministers; Octavia Gregory as Junior Minister for UCHIP's general-provincial and interprovincial administration is the senior member of the PC in the government and is Deputy Leader of the PC.

The Whig Party and the APP are in an electoral alliance together, with the Whigs promising not to run in many ridings in the Autonomous Indigenous Nations where the APP can promote itself, though with STV (aka British Proportional Representation) this is less of an issue. The Whig-APP Alliance has made itself have the largest plurality in the NAU House of Commons in the last election, but it is not enough to win an outright majority.

The Whigs are fiscally moderate and socially liberal, and the APP is the same but also focuses on decentralization, environmental stewardship, and cultural/political/land, water, and resource rights for the North American First Nations.

The People's Coalition is a social-democratic party, ranges from hardcore syndicalists and radical trade unionists to the reformist soft left. After the Red Hunts of the 1920s and 1930s, revolutionary syndicalism (embracing violent revolution and criminal actions to achieve it) and even "revolutionary parliamentarism" (where politicians once elected with a majority would engage in massive nationalisations of industries and radically transform the economy organized by industrial unions) went out of favor in the North American labour movement and instead embraced reformist parliamentary trade unionism where welfarist policies and regulatory changes became the main demands of workers.

It has 80 members and has agreed to a confidence-and-supply agreement with the Whig-APP Alliance.

In exchange for two years of confidence-and-supply support, where the PC will support the Whig-APP Alliance in the Speech from the Throne and all confidence motions and supply/appropriations bills, and all bills regarding national security, while the Alliance will appoint three members of the PC as Junior Ministers as well as contribute more to general-provincial equalisation payments and domestic spending for healthcare and other forms of social insurance, cash support for farmers and an increase in wage subsidies for other non-agricultural workers, and enhanced collective bargaining rights for industries regulated by the general government. After two years, the agreement is up for renewal, but by technicality, there is a majority to command the government and confidence in the House.

The Commonwealth is currently governed by a coalition of several parties. The chief amongst these is the Industrial Socialist Party, with other coalition members being the Christian Social Democrats, the Australic Green Party, the New Guinea League, and the ANZAC Veterans' League. The coalition makeup is displayed below:

Industrial Socialist Party: 120
Christian Social Democrats: 19
Australic Green Party: 16
New Guinea League: 15
ANZAC Veterans' League: 4

Total: 174 seats (51.79%) in the House of Representatives

The Industrial Socialist Party (I.S.P.)

The I.S.P. is considered, by domestic reckoning, to be a moderate-left leaning political party, and is the most radical of the major political parties. It adheres, more or less, to the tenets of De Leonism admixed with syndicalist and guild socialist theory.

History
The I.S.P. first formed as the militant wing of the Labor Party in the build-up to the 1923 Syndic Revolution and Labor Day Coup. The party's split from Labor was only completed after the Revolution, with the first I.S.P. MPs running in the inaugural 1923 Special Federal Election. For the first decade of its existence, the I.S.P. existed as an ally of the Labor Party, and the two governed in-coalition between 1923 and 1932, agreeing even so much as to not compete against each other in 1923.

The party was founded at the state-level in New South Wales by State M.P. Albert Willis, but in the 1923 election, the Industrial Socialist Party was led federally by renowned socialist activist, IWW leader, and freshly-minted politician Donald MacLennan Grant, one of the 'Sydney 12'. Grant would become the Deputy Prime Minister to Labor Prime Minister T.J. Ryan, the first to hold the post in an official capacity. The most notable I.S.P. Prime Ministers include John Curtin, Ben Chifley, Jim Cairnes, Meredith Phillips, and Frank Hughes.

With the establishment of the Federal Syndicates as the executive/industrial government (a primary goal of De Leonism) in the immediate aftermath of the revolution, the I.S.P. took on the mantle of the party of the syndicates - favouring strong syndicalist governance in opposition to Labor's favouring of parliamentary governance. This would eventually lead to irreconcilable ideological differences and, following the election of what would become Earle Page's Country Party government, the two became rivals.

Agenda
The I.S.P. stands staunchly for the protection of the rights of the workers, their syndicates, and communes. It advocates for extensive restrictions and tariffs against trade from capitalist nations, a bellicose stance against Australia's enemies (though still prioritising defence), and greater cooperation with Australia's allies in all respects. Whereas Labor could be said to lean towards centralisation in both administration and the economy, the I.S.P. supports greater devolution of powers and an overall 'bottom-up' system of governance.

Current Status
In addition to leading the nation's governing coalition, the I.S.P. currently governs the states of Northern Australia, Capricornia, Queensland, Victoria, and the Australic Capital Territory.

The Christian Social Democrats of Australia (C.S.D.)

The CSD is the favoured Federal Party for most church-going Christians and those of Italo-Greek extraction, and as such can reliably attract up to 1/5th of the nation's first-preference votes.

History
The party was founded in 1923 by Italic Christian Socialist leaders - many of whom were smuggled into the country after the Great War - uniting with the more faith-orientated members of the then-governing A.L.P-I.S.P. coalition.

The exodus of Labor and Industrial Socialist Ministers to the C.S.D., as well as the A.V.L., played a large role in the defeat of Labor at the 1929 Federal Election, though the C.S.D. then entered a governing coalition with Earle Page and the Country Party, following the collapse of the Liberal Union government of George Warburton Fuller after only 9 months. Since then, the C.S.D. are always in coalition with Labor and the Country Party, and occasionally join coalitions with the I.S.P., as is true at present.

It was also true in 1993, when the only Prime Minister yet to be drawn from the C.S.D., Piotr Bąków, served for 6 days following the death of Frank Hughes, to whom he was Deputy Prime Minister.

Agenda
The C.S.D. often finds itself in the position of a power-broker between the more major parties on individual issues, but generally forms coalitions with Labor or the Country Party. Some are wary of its very open connection to the Christian Social Union, the largest amalgamation of churches in Australia, and thus by extension the influence of this external organisation on government.

The CSD, like Labor, is pacifistic in nature. It sits between Labor and the Country Party on the 'political scale', holding similar political and economic stances to Labor but retaining many conservative and traditional Christian morals and values. That said, the party supports most of the nation's sexuality and gender laws and abstains from votes on legislation regarding abortion. It is the only party to support private charity (which, whilst legal, is rare domestically), though maintains that the government, through welfare and foreign aid, is the most efficient institution at helping the destitute.

Current Status
In addition to being the secondary member of the nation's governing coalition, the C.S.D. currently governs the states of Melanesia and Fiji.

The Australic Green Party (A.G.P.)

The Australic Green Party is Australia's preeminent environmentalist party. It advertises itself as a counterbalancing party to the Country Party, focusing on pursuing the sustainable and ethical use of Australia's great expanses of land and abundant natural resources.

History
The A.G.P. was founded in 1961 by dissatisfied defectors from other left-wing parties to focus on accelerating government focus on environmentalism and sustainable industry.

Agenda
Outside of the A.A.A. (The Australic Antistatist Alliance), the A.G.P. is considered the most socially liberal of all of Australia's political parties. They are the most staunchly supportive of all conceivable environmental policies - renewable energies, reforestation, etc... - and are also the party seen as most supportive of the nation's various indigenous groups. The radical agenda of the A.G.P., however, leaves them a dearth of support in communes loyal to the Country Party, whilst they struggle to compete in more metropolitan areas with more established and ideologically similar left-wing parties. However, the A.G.P. has returned a greater result at every one of their elections since their founding.

Current Status
The A.G.P. currently governs the Central Australic Territories and is the tertiary partner in the I.S.P.'s governing coalition, as well as holding a seat on the State Council. It is considered to be the tertiary member of the current governing coalition.

New Guinea League (N.G.L.)

The New Guinea League is a politically diverse coalition united in demanding various progressions regarding the disputed territory of New Guinea - full statehood, resumed active warfare with Indonesia, the armament of local autonomous tribesmen, or all of the above. As the electoral status of most of New Guinea (in which it has de facto complete electoral dominance) is itself in limbo, the N.G.L. has fostered a large grassroots voter base along the nation's northern coast to ensure its ability to deliver a jingoistic speech to Parliament at every valid opportunity and prevent the frozen conflict from ever leaving the national consciousness.

History
New Guinea was the site of few battles during the Great War, but the island saw several changes of administration before the new Australic syndicalist government assumed control of the former colonial administration on the island. Control was soon turned over to local administrators, who formed a provisory government with extensive autonomy. Needing to contend with both the islands geography and intermittent conflict with Indonesia, the N.G.L. has developed as a coalition of necessity.

Agenda
The primary agenda of the N.G.L. is to improve the island's infrastructure and defence capabilities, encourage education and industrialisation, and support separatists within Indonesia. Beyond that, ideology varies greatly over distance and between members.

Current Status
The provisional government of New Guinea is, and always has been, government by members of the N.G.L.

The ANZAC Veterans' League (A.V.L)

The A.V.L. is a venerable political party that represents (and is represented by) the nation's present and former military personnel. Whilst it was once a major political force, at present it exists purely by convention and exerts a negligible influence in parliament.

History
The ANZAC Veterans' League was born from the throes of the horrific Great War and the domestic political turmoil of its aftermath. Founded by returned servicemen, many of whom participated in the Labor Day Coup of 1923, the A.V.L. achieved its political zenith in the first regular election in Syndic Australia, the 1926 Federal election, whence it joined with the I.S.P., A.L.P., and C.S.D. in the first regular coalition government. Since then, the party has experienced a slow but steady decline in relevance, losing ground at every election since, except following the conflict with Indonesia. Despite losing relevance in the modern era, the contribution of the A.V.L. and its members to the state's political culture and history is held in high esteem, and it is generally invited into all coalition governments by convention.

By 1926, most Ministers who had seen combat in the Great War - both on the left and right - had aligned themselves with the A.V.L. Despite the revolution, the standing stipulation that actively serving military personnel could not stand for Parliament remained for several decades, only being repealed in the late 1940s, thus limiting the Party's pool of prospective candidates.

Agenda
Aside from Veterans' Affairs, the A.V.L. presents no electoral agenda.

Current Status
Currently, the A.V.L. only holds seats representing the nation's largest military installations, and has only shrunk in past decades.

In addendum, the National Liberal Party of Haryana would not likely achieve electoral success in Australia. It is most similar to the nation's Liberal Commonwealth Party in agenda and ideology - a party that has fallen by the wayside over the past century to the benefit of the Country Party amongst the nation's more centre and right leaning voters. Some of it's policies, such as protectionism and rail infrastructure investment, fall within the Australic political mainstream, but much of the rest of the NLPs agenda would be seen as reactionary, capitalistic, and counter to social values.

The Proletarian Union is a one-party state headed by the Internationalist Communist Party (ICP). The ICP is an internationalist revolutionary Marxist party formed from the unification and centralisation of the various revolutionary political movements that swept across large parts of Europe during the Great War. It is organised according to the principles of cyber-organic centralism, guided by the theories of scientific socialism in order to properly interpret material conditions both within and without the Union and thence determine the best course of action. While factions exist within the party itself, generally supporting competing interpretations of Marxist theory and principles, alternate political parties have been prohibited as potential vectors of reaction and counter-revolutionary politics seeking to restore bourgeois rule.

The ICP's agenda is two-fold: firstly, it seeks to maintain the gains of the revolution within the Proletarian Union, ensuring that the Union remains both prosperous and committed to the principles of socialism, and secondly to further revolutionary activity internationally in order to help bring about the world revolution and a global communist society. All actions undertaken by the ICP in its role as vanguard of the proletarian revolution are planned with these objectives in mind, ensuring commitment to its overarching purpose.

The Coalition is the ruling party or faction in Great Nortend, having both a majority in the Houses of Commons as well as a vast majority in the House of Lords. It is comprised of the Company of Scodeliers and the Conservative Party of Erbonia. The main opposition is the Droughers’ Party. The Coalition has been in power for around 66 years almost continuously since its formation in 1940, barring 14 years’ of Drougher governance. It adopts a „nationalist conservative” policy and ideology as developed under Bexeness and Foide, which is founded on the three orders—moral order, social order and physical order.

The Coalition is morally conservative and promotes religious morality, traditional family structures, and social stability over personal rights and freedoms, as well as mutual social support, charity and love for one’s neighbour. Closely related is the support for maintaining the social hierarchy in terms of Royal and subordinate temporal authority, class relationships, fealty and allegiance, law and order. The Coalition also believes in conserving the environment, protecting the economy and defending Erbonian interests from the enemy as a necessary and desirable corollary to moral and social order.

Freedoms are not highly valued in Great Nortend, and tradition often is more compelling than economic interests. It is unlikely that the average Nortish subject would vote for the National Liberal Party coalition if there were a better alternative.

The National Party of the Gaucho Workingman (Portuguese: Partido Nacional do Trabalhador Gaúcho; Spanish: Partido Nacional del Trabajador Gaucho), also known as PNTG, is the ruling party of the Federal League. Elected to power in 2019 following the end of the Military Republic of 2006-2019, the PNTG is a syncretic party, which blends left-wing economic policies with nationalism. The party does not have a defined stance on social issues, as can be seen with the legalization of Euthanasia in 2020, in which 1/3 of the PNTG opposed the project.

The National Party of the Gaucho Workingman was founded in 1941 by then-dictator Getúlio Vargas, who had ousted fascist dictator Gabriel Terra from office in 1939. Despite establishing a personalistic dictatorship in which political rights were suspended and communists were persecuted, Vargas was rather progressive for his time, as he banned child labor, established a secular state (going as far as establishing a de-facto atheist state by the end of his mandate), protected the rights of ethnic and religious minorities, and even assisted dozens of refugees from the Little Great War and other conflicts of his era.

Nowadays, the PNTG is the largest party of the Federal League. Its agenda includes:

  • Support for civilian ownership of weapons
  • Focus on technical education at high school
  • Focus on STEM at higher education institutions
  • Focus on the research of agriculture, cloning, and genetics
  • Free trade with other nations
  • Government intervention on the economy
  • State companies should thrive on profit generated from the competition with other enterprises, not from subsidies given by the government
  • Land reform, supporting small farmers over landlords
  • Support for the construction of a national identity forged by language, history, and the common struggles shared by our ancestors.
  • Support for the manutention of the regional and ethnic identities, supporting Amerindian traditions and the teaching of immigrant languages (such as German and Italian).
  • Support for the spread of Gaucho culture and traditions through the construction and support for CTG (Gaucho Tradition Centers)
  • Support for secularism. Total separation of state and religion; most religions should be tolerated.
  • Support for environmental protection and anti-pollution laws
  • Opposition to post-modern identitarianism; people should identify by their religion, culture and/or language, not gender, sexual orientation, or "race"
  • Opposition to feminism
  • Support for the capital punishment
  • Support for a seven-hour workday.
  • Support for a living wage.
  • Support for a universal basic income (UBI)
  • Support for family subsidies; people older than 36 without children are to be taxed (exceptions are made for those with specific conditions)
  • Support for the criminalization of separatism
  • Support for the taxation on the profit of foreign companies
  • Support for subsidies of the arts
  • Support for nuclear energy
  • Rebuild the police forces, granting them more autonomy
  • Focus on the modernization of the military
  • Rebuild the air force from scratch; the goal is to have the mightiest air force of Latin America
  • Support for abortion on some occasions; opposition to abortion on request
  • Support for euthanasia
  • Support for including mental health programs in the public healthcare system
  • Support for immigration of reasonably wealthy or skilled immigrants; poor immigrants from Latin America are preferred; poor immigrants must not come from Asia
  • Implementation of a voucher system for private education and private healthcare
  • Support for educational reform
  • Neutral on transgender rights
  • Support for same-sex marriage
  • Opposition to same-sex adoption rights

When it comes to foreign policy, the PNTG has the following agenda:

  • Abolish visa requirements for all South American nations (except Peru-Bolivia)
  • Reinstate visa requirements for American, Canadian, and Japanese citizens
  • Closer relations with other Catholic nations and nations of Romance language
  • Stay in the French sphere of influence
  • Combat German and American influence in South America
  • Oppose the Ottoman Caliphate at every turn
  • Lobby for an intervention in the Islamic State
  • Closer relations with Russia
  • Support Russian claims in the Caucasus
  • Support French claims over Picardy and Alsace-Lorraine
  • Support Italian claims over Dalmatia and Veneto
  • Support Greek claims on Turkey and Cyprus
  • Support the Panamanian claim over the Panama Canal
  • Support the Italian claim over the Suez Canal
  • Support for the Non-Intervention Committee of the Chinese Civil War
  • Support for African self-rule and gradual decolonization
  • Support for the Korean Independence Movement
  • Support for Irish independence and the IRA
  • Anti-Germanism
  • Anti-Ottomanism
  • Opposition to the Co-Prosperity Sphere
Liga Federal dos Pampas • Liga Federal de la Pampa

There are three major parties in Wizlandia, the Liberal Party (market liberalism and civil libertarianism), the National Party (liberal-conservatism and Christian Democracy), and the Social Democratic Party (social liberalism/social democracy). Since 1960, the government has always been a coalition of two of the above three parties, and typically the Liberal Party will be in government as they're often considered more towards the centre of the traditional left-right spectrum. Because of this, the Liberal Party has been the one-constant in government that has presided over long-lasting economic prosperity, and are thus seen as the "responsible pro-growth party" by many voters. Hence, they tend to have a slightly higher voter count than the Nationals and the SDP. However, the rise in crime that occurred in the previous administration (Liberal-SDP) resulted in a surge of support for the Nationals in the last election, who are often seen as the most "tough-on-crime" of the three major parties.

Currently, the ruling coalition is a Liberal-National coalition.

The Palinoan Nationals Party or PNP is the selected party for the Unitary System. All opposition is considered treason and will be punished as such.

Beliefs include:

Capitalism is the only viable economical system that can be used.

People are too ignorant to control any form of government, so authoritarianism is required to have a working and reliable government.

Our country is grand over others, and all foreign sympathizers should be seen as traitors

and more.

Mother Knows Best State

Following the recent election, the centre-right Ropu Ripera [Liberal Party] was able to form a minority government with backing from the centrist Manapori [Democratic] Party.

While the full details of the new government's programme have yet to be released, the main policies appear to be as follows:

  • Equal rights for LBGT citizens, including the possible legalisation of same-sex marriage [though it is unclear as to whether this will be done in Parliament or via referendum]
  • Balance the budget through spending cuts, however Manapori have announced they will block cuts to health, education or welfare.
  • No new tax rises in the first term [as per Ropu Ripera's policies]
  • Phasing out coal power plants in favour of nuclear power
  • Simplification of the visa system to attract skilled immigrants
  • Policies designed to encourage foreign investment and free trade
  • Tax cuts for corporations who agree to pay workers higher wages
  • Investigation into recent corruption scandals including strengthening corruption watchdogs and the office of the ombudsman

It should be noted that under the constitution of Tangatarehua, the legislature does not have the power to control foreign policy (which remains the domain of the Rangatira/executive] although it can influence it by refusing to ratify treaties, defunding certain practices, etc.

Unlike most democracies or republics, Ilessia is a democratic theocracy led by a religious order known as Ordo Templi Populares or the People's Templar Order. This order is effectively a cult of democracy worshiping Demos, or God the People. It is strictly speaking not a political party, but effectively a state church which every Ilessian citizen belongs to from birth. The Constitution of Ilessia grants it power to dictate policy within limits of both the constitution and its decided-upon doctrine. Some of its doctrines include:

  • The People of Ilessia on a national scale and all of humanity on a universal scale are God.
  • As such, its word is infallible and all the land it treads upon is holy land, which belongs to the People as does everything from it by extension.
  • Democracy in its many forms and in all aspects of society is the holiest political and social order.
  • Individuals, that is singular, mortal men alone by themselves, are temporary, but the People are forever.
  • Defense and protection of democracy is the highest civic duty of all people of Ilessia.
  • Every Ilessian is a minister and templar of the People responsible of maintaining and spreading our faith.
  • No one is above the other for any reason: no man is above woman, no Ilessian above another nationality.
  • Democracy is no competition for power over the people by any political party, democracy is the hand of God the People.
  • Democracy is not merely a political order, but economic, cultural, spiritual and most importantly an all-encompassing social order.
  • Anything seeking to suppress, restrict, defeat, oppose or subvert democracy is to be destroyed without mercy.
  • Anything seeking to divide the People or disintegrate society by ways of exclusion, segregation or discrimination shall be stopped in its tracks.
  • Everyone is to be fed, clothed, healed, sheltered, educated, protected and served by everyone.
  • Everyone is to produce and provide for society as well as fulfill their other social duties and responsibilities.
  • Everything inside the People, nothing outside the People, nothing against the People, no one above the People.
  • God is with everyone, God is everyone and separation from God is separation from society.
  • The Throne of Civilization and its current occupant, Mammon, are enemies of the People and are to be fought wherever they reign supreme.
  • Mammon, alongside Met Elohim, the Dead Gods, is a false idol, to whom worship and service are not and will never be permitted.
  • The People are fated to storm and occupy the Throne of Civilization to destroy it and build a Temple for itself in its place.

As for policies, the People's Templar Order does not recognize racial or sexual classifications in most instances, seeing them as arbitrary and inconsequential to society. Interracial and gay sex and marriage are thus moot issues. PTO recognizes limited free speech in most instances but not freedom of religion nor private property rights. PTO mandates democratic control of all of society, social ownership over the economy, universal employment and conscription of all of its citizens. It forbids partisanism, challenges to its power and the overthrow of Ilessian democracy. PTO supports immigration of anyone willing to uphold Ilessian law and fulfill their national duties and social responsibilities.
My God is none other than Demos, the people. Only the popular masses are all-knowing, almighty and ever-present on earth. Therefore my lifetime motto is: The people are my God. Only the people can defeat the forces of Mammon and seize the throne of civilization in order to demolish it forever and build a temple in its place for the praise of its everlasting, shining glory. May a New Jerusalem rise from the ashes of Mammon and the rest of the false idols given to us from above. Join Ordo Templi Populares, the army of God the People!

Is a Center-left coalition of centrist parties led by the liberal-democrats. Supported by the social-liberals, center right Christian democrats and Greens. It seems odd but this coalition has been working since the 2011 election.

Ourequa is ruled by a de jure autocratic theocracy, de facto corrupt oligarchy. However the regime is mostly benevolent and largely progressive on most issues, such as immigration and gender equality, and could be considered fairly left-wing.

Crysukon Revolutionary Marxist Party (CRMP).

Current political focuses:
paper free bureaucracy, transfer all documents and records to digital storage and archive paper records and documents.
reform the commissariat, the world has changed and we can't pretend the same ways to ensure loyalty will always work.
review foreign policy, there are some old grudges with the US and China which we can afford to let go of

Economic focuses:
fund physics research, Crysuko is home to some of the foremost institutes and specialists in the physics fields. The science secretary has requested additional resources, he will have them.
rural production nodes, setting up light industry clusters in outlying areas will allow rural communes to depend less on the cities
appoint project advisors, project deluge has proven a success for keeping the nation hydrated, some extra planning and analytics staff will keep it from running over budget

Since the victory of the opposition parties in the 2020 General Election, Amundsensland has been governed by a "red-green" coalition consisting of the centre-left Social Democratic Party (SPA) and the agrarian Centre Party (SA). The SPA is the senior party in this coalition, as they have the most seats and hold many of the key portfolios, but this coalition is very weak (43/101 seats) and relies on support from the Socialist Left and the Greens, parties which have a very poor relationship with the SA. The SA, despite being the junior party, managed to negotiate successfully on a number of key demands, and watered down much of the SPA's platform. Such red-green governments are very rare in Amundsensland, with the last one occurring in the 1930s.

The key differences between the two parties are that while the SPA is progressive and centre-left, the SA is economically liberal and often conservative on social issues, though they have never really engaged in right-wing cultural politics, and was historically part of the parliamentary right grouping. Since the early 2000s, they have tended to align more with the parliamentary left, but provided external support to a right-wing coalition between 2016-20. The present coalition is possible only because the new leadership of the SA prefers the SPA as a coalition partner over the centre-right Liberal People's Party (VFA). The SPA-SA coalition is expected to prioritise strengthening the welfare state, spending big on infrastructure, implementing political decentralisation and overseeing a reversal of some privatisations undertaken by the previous government. Budget repair is mentioned frequently, but the SA has tacitly permitted an increase in public debt levels and persistent deficits.

(Also: this might bare some resemblance to the new government in Norway, but I actually came up with this before that happened. Lol.)

Corrupt Dictatorship

Postby Pulsroth » Sat Nov 20, 2021 10:38 am

Since the collapse of Patrick Dansey-Beck's dictatorship in 2013, the Pulsrothi 21st Century Meritocrats or PM-21 have had dominant control of the Parêmata lower parliamentary house, currently holding 123 of the 175 national seats.

Politically, the party is mostly aligned with the similar, but now defunct Pulsrothi Radical Party or PRP, who had continuously governed since 1971.

Most members of PM-21 are as follows...

    • Centre-right on social matters

    • As their name would suggest, right wing on the economy

    • Supportive of religious promotion (Christianity and Té Tara, the native folk religion)

    • Culturally nationalistic

    • In favour of closer economic and social ties with other major powers in the Pacific, such as Japan and the newly formed Pacifica 45

The Party of National Unity (PNU) is the current ruling party in the federation, dominating the political landscape since 1960. Despite their autocratic appearance, in action the Party is considered benevolent by many, and is in fact voted democratically and in majority by the people.

The party was originally a merger of the Pirusavian Party of Socialist Unification and the reformist faction of the Pirusavian Communist Party. The merger itself was directly a result of the 1957 coup d'état in which the current president, Edvard Pergenn and his allies, overthow Vladan Berutis' controversial government.

The party itself revolves around three main beliefs: national communism, leftist nationalism, and Samagalism, a variant of socialism mixed with "Pirusavian ideals", formulated by the first President of FPRP, Bertram Samagalian.

Economically, the party endorsed market socialism and an approach to Nordic model.

Socially they used to be fairly conservative, but became much more progressive as time went, which can be seen by their support on homosexuality, legalising it in 1963 and eventually passed legislation for same-sex civil union in 1977, the first in the continent.

Their other policies include:

Education
-Fully free and mandatory primary and secondary education.
-Fully free bachelor degree scholarship, with major tuition discounts for masters' and doctoral degrees.
-Expansion of schools and teachers in remote areas.
-Total eradication of illiteracy.
-Grants on research.
-Mandatory technical education (engineering and technology) in primary and secondary schools.

Economic:
-Stabilisation of national economy.
-Increasing national and per capita income.
-Increasing income equality.
-Maintaining a supply of quality workforce.
-Total eradication of unemployment.
-Granting loans and giving free management educations for these interested in opening business or collectives.
-Protecting the local industry.

Social:
-Expansion of healthcare in remote areas.
-Increase on healthcare quality, including hospitals, doctors, and nurses.
-Total and mandatory vaccination on common illnesses, such as diphteria, tuberculosis, flu, polio, rabies, etc.
-Expansion of general welfare and health to promote quality populace and working force.
-Protection of workers and peasants.
-Legalisation and protection of homosexual individuals.
-Mandatory sex education and assault prevention for primary education students.
-Defending gender equality and increasing the involvement of women in politics and workforce.
-Expansion of public transportation in all of the country by expanding railways, subways, buses, and trolleybuses.
-Promotion of nuclear energy as a clean source.
-Promotion of Pirusavian socialist patriotism and unity.

Defence:
-Expansion of the strength of the People's National Army.
-Creating small local defence units (Militsija) to support the national law enforcement (Gvardija) in maintaining peace and safety.
-Creation of auxilliary forces to assist the military in protecting the nation.
-Introducing national defence to primary, secondary, and university students.
A federal left-wing nationalist country situated in a fictional world in the extended Cold War timeline. Authoritarian by Western standards, Libertarian by Eastern standards. Atomic Tech - The year is 1978.

In process of retconning, especially regarding geography and demographics.

Aido is the sole ruling party of Archbasilica.

By default, it has always been theocratic and spiritualist, maintaining the conservativeness and traditions of the people and civilisation all at once. Despite this, its principles, intentions, and ideas are adherently communist. Religious-Communism is a double-edged sword; it embraces the collectivism and communalism of communism, but the faith provides boundaries and disciplines for all aspects of society, economics, law, and politics.

It also maintains the following wings:
  • (Newspaper): Aidengon is the official newspaper of the party and faith.
  • (Education): All educational bodies and matters are controlled and monitored by the party via Aigakumon.
  • (Youth): The Aichou is the mass youth organisation of the party for ages sixteen to twenty eight years old. Responsible for the young adult population’s well-being and behaviour after public education, every aspect of his/her life was to be in accordance with religious and party doctrine. Smoking, drinking, atheism/blasphemy, drug use, and any other activity the party and faith saw as threatening were discouraged, either classified as ‘immoral’ or ‘inhumane’. Alternatively, the government provided leisure activities that promoted the improvement of society, such as, volunteer work, hobbies, and political and drama clubs.
  • (Pioneers): The Aitori is the mass youth organisation of the party for ages three to fifteen years old. Responsible for the safety and well-being of schoolchildren and teenagers, the party oversaw and policed the ideological and religious radicalisation and behaviour of its children. It is paramount that children are continuously, albeit subtly and gently, taught and preached outside school, reinforcing certain mindset(s) in accordance to the party and faith. This includes recreational and disciplinary activities laced with subliminal and passive messages and ideas - a deliberate action to protect the innocence of young minds.
  • (Research): Contrary to popular belief and official decree, Archbasilica maintains its own research and development bureau via the party. Known as Aishito, it is responsible for studying and proposing political, social, economic, and technological breakthroughs for the party, all the while adhering to the faith’s beliefs and dogmas. Though Archbasilica is officially anti-scientific, it often needs insight, opinions, and/or assistance upon new or foreign ideas. Integration of policies or ideas is subtly monitored and regulated by Aishito, allowing the party and state to directly determine what is best. On the other hand, this technological/intellectual selectiveness often curbs or discourages innovation lest it’s within the eyes and ears of the party.
  • (Paramilitary): Most unusual for a totalitarian state, Archbasilica has no official military body or standing army. Instead, it relies on law enforcement and espionage departments, which comes in two forms: state (Archangels) and ministry (aka, Agencies). The former is the secret police and inquisition of the party and government, while the latter is a local law enforcement and judiciary body. Despite this, the party itself also maintains its own volunteer militia called, Aihei. Overall, all these organisations are responsible for moral policing, internal security, and state control over society.
  • (Supreme): The Aisaibansho is the highest party body between national meetings of Aido. As a theocracy, political, bureaucratic, and clerical officials gather to discuss and debate policy issues. It is here where the major decision-making organs - Politburo, Secretariat, and Control Commission - are located.
  • (Sports): The Aiundo is the umbrella organisation for sports and physical education in Archbasilica.
  • (Labour): The Airoudou is the labour, trade, and industrial organisation of the party and Archbasilica as a whole.
  • (Media): The Aieigaseisaku is the sole state media entity of the party and country. Excluding radio (officially banned), all telephone, television, and other electronic entertainment and information is controlled and handled by the party. In conjunction with Aishito, it is also the creator of Archbasilica’s national intranet and all subsequent computer-based activities. Incidentally, as any wireless connection is illegal, all media mediums are connected by landline/Ethernet cables - a state secret that is constantly kept updated and secure at all times.

Socialist party of congdao. The socialist party of congdao despite its name is not really a Marxist party. It’s more social democracy. It started as a Marxist party in the 1920’s however during the
Junist and munist dictatorships it adopted pro democratic views and shifted towards a social democratic agenda and became the main opposition party.

It is pro same sex marriage

It is pro life (this distinguishes it from other social democratic parties around the world as in congdao the right is pro abortion and the left is anti abortion)

It is pro single payer healthcare

It is pro progressive tax system

It is anti war

In congdao terms are three years for President’s and fong, the socialist president is in her second term and was first elected in 2018 and re-elected this year.

It has these wings

The third way new socialist wing.

The libertarian wing

The environmentalist wing

The social democratic wing (the dominant wing)

The various religious wings

There is various fringe wings but these are the main ones

The current ruling party is the Casterman Party. However, due to a recent election, the Theocratic Party would soon be the ruling party in Crossoveria. So, both will be discussed.

Both parties were formed very recently; Waldemar Rochester became the new Supreme Leader, and he authorized a multi-party system as one of his first acts, thus leading to the creation of the Casterman Party, and later, the Theocratic. The Krona Party had existed before, but prior to Waldemar Rochester seizing the Supreme Leadership, it was the single legal party in Crossoveria, and won every election up to 2020. Now, as previously mentioned, Crossoveria has a multi-party system, and these two parties are of eight different political parties in Crossoveria.

The Casterman takes a left-wing liberal party that is in favor of a democratic system in Crossoveria, but also preserving Crossoveria's foreign policy, which means that they would continue to maintain diplomatic ties with countries that already do. The Casterman Party promotes equality under the law for all Crossoverians, freedom of expression and religion, and more tolerance to other cultures and traditions. Kipper Woofler, who is about to finish his term as the 10th President of Crossoveria, is a member of the Casterman Party, whos leader is Raul Hutchens.

The Theocratic Party is a Conservative Islamist party who stands converting Crossoveria into an Islamic Theocracy. An inherently authoritarian party, the Theocratic Party's endeavors would be to make Crossoveria more openly religious, and to be more fierce against Western Imperialism and ideologies. The Theocratic Party stands as the most conservative and fundamentalist party out of all of Crossoveria's parties. The current leader in Muhammad Al Abbas. The Theocratic Party won Presidential Elections in November 2021, and their candidate Hamad bin Ahmad Al Meskin will move up to be the next President on January 2022.

The ruling, and only legal party, is the Holy Alkmaarian National Party. It was founded when many Alkmaarians felt the need to be ruled by a single, holy, dictator.

The HANP has since abolished elections and proclaimed the leader to be a literal god. The HANP criminalized opposition parties, and instilled a national Big-Brother anti-crime system, among other things.

The HANP has, since it's founding, been Authoritarian and right-wing. The HANP believes that the leader is god, and anyone who criticizes him should be killed. The HANP, however, does not believe in race theory, and they believe that ultimately, all humans are one and the same.

The HANP's beliefs:
Government:
->Rule by a single, holy dictator.
->State-Owned press
->Opposition parties should not be legal
Social:
->Neutrality to LGBTQ rights
->No polygamist marriage
->No immigration into Alkmaaria
->No emigration out of Alkmaaria
->No divorce
->No drugs of any kind
->No alcohol of any kind
->Abortion is illegal
Economy:
->No government intervention whatsoever into the economy
->Monopolies are banned
->All television must be reviewed by the government
Military:
->2-year term of conscription, from age 18-20
->Majority of government spending goes into military
->Stockpiling nukes
->Invading countries for any reason deemed fit
->Massive Air Force and Navy
->Various bunkers built in every major city
Other:
->Public protests are illegal
->Children must be able to recite the national anthem by age 12
->Flag-burning is highly illegal
THis is a signature
