The Tropican government, recognizing the need to establish formal diplomatic channels between itself and the other nations of the world, hereby establishes a new easy to use internet page to accept applications for the establishment of embassies in Tropico. Two locations are available: Within the bustling capital city of San Jorge, and the nearby popular Tourist/Resort town of Vigo Del Istmo, which includes some of the nation's oldest Embassy buildings.

The Tropican Government, the sole government, both de jure and de facto, of our universe's version of the Tropican Archipelago, hereby welcomes all nations to apply for an embassy.

The Embassy of Shulan'u Dosheian Fesoti, Sifentu Repobilika Hambudjerai la Safiloa is hereby presented with an ACCEPTANCE PENDING ADDITIONAL PREPARATIONS, as the Ministry of Foreign Relations seeks a location that has suitable all-vegan surroundings to respect the beliefs of Tsanika Shaheng and the wider Safiloan government. Our current best option is the repurposing of a small island near (but not directly within) San Jorge, which will also have space for the garden and fountain. This should be done shortly. In the mean time, You may wish to apply for the importation of watercraft. The land craft can be stored in a secure section of private garages that accompany the nearest landing on San Jorge's Mainland. We will also provide special permission for a helipad and helicopter if desired, given these circumstances.

Regarding Tsanika Shaheng's theoretically possible conception of children and your Nation's lack of desire for it to occur during her service, all employees of the MRF are trained that all foreign diplomatic personnel are off limits for relationships. Furthermore, insofar as it may be of any concern to your government, with no stated origin contained herein to the origins and specifications of this custom, we shall remind you that while Tropican law imposes an excise tax of 65% on the sale of contraceptive devices and medications within Tropican borders, any parcel containing such material sent from another country directly to your embassy will incur no special tax or fee. The newly constructed embassy offices in Vigo del Istmo have been inspected and certified as resistant to natural disasters including earthquake, and also have Clear wall space for large art, including portrait of Kai Tsofan. Furthermore, several vacant offices are near an undeveloped district. One of these has been chosen as the Sherechian embassy and the neighboring open land officially assigned for development of an authentic Sherechian restaurant and Tsaotak Shrine.

Tropican Cigars are typically not government property, with the largest exporting firm being the Cigarros La Llama and Productos del Tabaco Tropicano , both Private Cooperative Worker Syndicates. They are licensed for exportation of their products to any country willing to import. They may be negotiated with directly on matters of cost.

The Embassy of The Federalis Imperium of Astares Amauricanum REQUIRES FURTHER ACTION. While Special permission for a separate and formal helipad in a San Jorge embassy has been extended to a nation whose prospective embassy had special transportation needs (by virtue of being located on islands disconnected from the San Jorge road network), the San Jorge Embassy District exists within a pocket fo "emergency only" airspace. Such an exception does need to be justified with further reasoning. Note however, that the roofs of these buildings are flat and broad enough to accomodate emergency helicopter evacuation. Alternatively, for daily use of helicopters, Vigo Del Istmo is not Subject to such restrictions and a helipad can be added to an embassy in that district without issue. We leave the decision of whether to pursue an exception or immediately switch location to Vigo Del Istmo in your nation's capable hands.

The Embassy of Shulan'u Dosheian Fesoti, Sifentu Repobilika Hambudjerai la Safiloa is hereby presented with an ACCEPTANCE PENDING ADDITIONAL PREPARATIONS, as the Ministry of Foreign Relations seeks a location that has suitable all-vegan surroundings to respect the beliefs of Tsanika Shaheng and the wider Safiloan government. Our current best option is the repurposing of a small island near (but not directly within) San Jorge, which will also have space for the garden and fountain. This should be done shortly. In the mean time, You may wish to apply for the importation of watercraft. The land craft can be stored in a secure section of private garages that accompany the nearest landing on San Jorge's Mainland. We will also provide special permission for a helipad and helicopter if desired, given these circumstances.

Regarding Tsanika Shaheng's theoretically possible conception of children and your Nation's lack of desire for it to occur during her service, all employees of the MRF are trained that all foreign diplomatic personnel are off limits for relationships. Furthermore, insofar as it may be of any concern to your government, with no stated origin contained herein to the origins and specifications of this custom, we shall remind you that while Tropican law imposes an excise tax of 65% on the sale of contraceptive devices and medications within Tropican borders, any parcel containing such material sent from another country directly to your embassy will incur no special tax or fee. Finally, while Ambassador Shaheng is subject to diplomatic immunity, Tropican doctors are not granted contact immunity and will not be permitted to provide elective termination to her in the event of a medically typical or near-typical pregnancy, even if at the strongest behest of your government.

Insofar as these terms are found agreeable by Safiloa, we shall be happy to soon say to Ambassador Shaheng and all other Safiloan embassy staff, ¡Bienvenidos a Trópico!
