OOC- Any other states presenting themselves as representing all or part of the nation of Tropico from the series of City Builders are not operated by me nor are they canon to Estado de Tropico's lore. The existence of such states as have been founded on or after the 18th of October 2021, seemingly in response to my activity, have done so without my consent, but are permitted to do so by virtue of Tropico as a general country not being the unique and original intellectual property of any NS player. Nonetheless, their existence, being conflicting with my own, should be interpreted as taking place in a separate universe, as Nation States is multiversal, and no claims of accomplishing or attempting secession or other seizure of power from or by Estado de Tropico are true.

-The United Federation of Planets- is a Star Trek-themed Nation set during the 2260s. Although we are based on the Original Series and JJ Abrams movies, the lore is fairly different from what we're based on. We do not used NS-Stats since they were designed to be used by modern nations, they don't fit too well with sci-fi themed ones like the Federation.

1. Does your nation have a standing army?
Yes. It is called the Eudean Defence Force.
2. Are your nation's armed forces under civilian control?
    Yes.
3. Is the Head of the State also the Commander-in-Chief? (State who is CiC in case it's not the HoS)
Eudea’s head of state is indeed likewise the Commander in chief.
4. The military pays allegiance to
The military firstly declares allegiance to the nation itself, secondly the people, thirdly the constitution. It has no declared allegiance or oath to the government nor the head of state.
5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation?
The State maintains the right to enact conscription, called the draft, in times of dire need. The draft is not currently active within Eudea. However, the benefits and rewards of joining the military or becoming a reservist as part of one’s Citizen Development Programme has led to a higher recruitment rate compared to other nations and could be considered as a light form of drafting, or at least ensuring high numbers of potential draftees should the draft be enacted.
6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation?
All Eudean nationals whom are at least 18 years of age and are “medically able and mentally sound” are eligible for the draft.
7. How long does conscription last?
    N/A
8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law?
Religious conviction and mental unsoundness are legal justifications to refuse the call to arms. Religious conviction justifications can, however, be denied when there are positions more amicable to one’s beliefs and they have the skills or potential to serve in other roles, including chef, paramedic and others.
9. What percentage of the total population is considered to be active military personnel?
Around 0.3% (30,000) are active military personnel.
10. What percentage of the total population is considered to be reserve military personnel and support staff?
Around 3.2% (288,000) are considered reserve military personnel. The very high number of reservists and support staff is due to military training being popular for those completing their Citizen Development Programmes.
11. Does your military have stakes or totally controls enterprises?
    No.
12. Does your military have representation in your parliament?
No. However, there are military veterans among both houses of Eudea’s parliament.
13. Is your nation under military junta rule?
    No.
14. If yes, is this temporary or permanent?
    N/A
15. Does your military have unofficial strong influence on your country's politics?
It does, despite total civilian control of the military. This can partly be attributed to the strong military culture among the citizenry who had chosen the military for their CDPs.

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military?
The minimum age to enlist is 18 years of age - the maximum age to enlist is 48.
17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age?
Beyond the obvious additional requirements and limits, there are not any other notable limits. Documented residents can join the military but only for the Foreign Legion.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years?
Eudea has been engaged in armed conflict against terror groups for the past two decades. However, it has not declared a state of war between itself and another state within the specified timeframe.
19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years?
    No.
20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation?
Eudea is currently in a military alliance with the United States and Commonwealth Pacific nations.

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military?
Roughly 5% is spent on military matters.

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans?
Veterans are keenly looked after by Eudea’s government and social support systems. Criticism of the treatment of veterans in Eudea’s former overlord, the United Kingdom, has reminded government of its duties to veterans’ reintegration and support.
23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans?
Veterans are lauded as heroes by the general population and media. Maltreatment of veterans always results in significant backlash against the maltreater.
24. Are there special benefits for veterans?
    Yes.
25. If yes what kind of benefits?
There are specialist support services for veterans suffering from PTSD and/or disabilities resulting from their service.

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country?
No. Domestic law enforcement matters lie in the hands of civilian police. The military can be deployed domestically at the request of Eudea’s cabinet minister for domestic matters, but this can be withdrawn at any time.
27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree?
There are two law enforcement agencies: the regular police departments and Eudea’s gendarmery force. The former is usually without firearms, unlike the latter.
28. Is there a Gendarmerie in your nation?
Yes, it does. It is called the Eudean Gendarmery, or Reeves at Arms.

29. Is there a use of military courts for civilian offenses for non-military people?
No, all civilian offences committed by civilians are handled by civilian courts.
30. Are curfews or state of emergency enacted as of now? If yes for which stated reason?
    No.
31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason?
Not in the given timeframe. The COVID-19 pandemic was not handled with states of emergency nor curfews in Eudea.

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation?
They are not rare, nor are they necessarily common. They happen from time to time.
33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media?
It can be argued that the media presents military-positive and patriotic narratives much, much more than otherwise, and this is indeed the case. The ‘indoctrination’ is subtle and inoffensive.

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many?
Eudea shares military bases with allied nations when deploying abroad for exercises or peacekeeping, disaster relief and humanitarian support purposes.

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns?
Yes, they are. However, not within areas considered densely populated/urban.
36. How many weapons there are per 100 people?
It is estimated that there are 30 firearms per 100 people.

37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias?
Yes, they are. However, they are required to obtain and maintain licenses recognising their organisation from local authorities.

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures?
No, due to mistrust towards opposing nations using military expenditure transparency to their advantage.
39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely?
The EDF sources its equipment largely from contracts with British and US defence companies, with domestic companies being contracted where possible. These contracts could be generalised as 50% British, 25% US and 25% domestic. The EDF is considered a modern military by Western standards.
40. Are your MBT, IFV, APC, helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks?
The EDF sees use in transport trucks and indeed makes use of them where necessary.

1. Does your nation have a standing army?
Yes, though technically it's a space fleet moreso than a traditional 'army'.

2. Are your nation's armed forces under civilian control?
Sort of...

3. Is the Head of the State also the Commander-in-Chief? (State who is CiC in case it's not the HoS)
No. The entire Disorder Fleet is anti-hierarchical, and lacks a chain of command. All individual operators have strategic autonomy.

4. The military pays allegiance to
The good of all chaos (and implicitly, the detriment of all order).

5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation?
Yes, but this is mostly just to ensure that the population can operate military hardware, if they ever need to.

6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation?
Everyone who is successfully recruited into the Disorder.

7. How long does conscription last?
1 galactic year (291.2 days)

8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law?
No. If someone is entirely unwilling to go play with weapons for one measly galactic year, so that they become at least reasonably good at it, they're not welcome to join the Disorder.

9. What percentage of the total population is considered to be active military personnel?
This fluctuates a lot. Anyone who climbs into an armed spaceship is technically part of the Disorder Fleet, and when they get out of the cockpit, they're not. Between 5% and 10% of the population is typically piloting something with weapons at any given time, though massive surges and falloffs are not uncommon.

10. What percentage of the total population is considered to be reserve military personnel and support staff?
Around 70%. Some Disorder citizens exist that demonstrate low interest in direct combat. It's common among scientist-types to stay in the lab instead of doing destruction in the field.

11. Does your military have stakes or totally controls enterprises?
Not really. Private enterprise makes up a small fraction of the Disorder's economic & manufacturing activity, and the civilian rulership (the science council) uses predictive simulation to make sure that the Disorder Fleet has everything it could possibly need for the war against order.

12. Does your military have representation in your parliament?
Only insofar as the data they transmit, so that the science council knows where to direct industrial production. It is technically impossible to have one's mind merged with a military starship, and also be in the science council's processing cluster. (This is a cognitive cybersecurity safeguard.)

13. Is your nation under military junta rule?
No.

14. If yes, is this temporary or permanent?
N/A

15. Does your military have unofficial strong influence on your country's politics?
Yes. The destruction-extremist, berserker-extremist, and preparedness-extremist ideologies exert considerable political influence and comprise a sizable share of public opinion, which the science council must appease. Because if the science council does try to do things without the permission of public opinion...this is an anarchic society fond of large weapons & physical destruction.

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military?
Anyone psychologically mature enough to successfully join the Disorder is mature enough to join the fleet.

17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age?
They do have to pass recruitment into the Disorder - which is an incredibly selective process. The Disorder wants only the best chaos-loving anarchists in the entire cosmos to be part of its citizenry.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years?
Yes, pretty much perpetually.

19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years?
Internal conflict generally occurs within simulated battlefields, but no, the Disorder has experienced no large-scale violent conflict from within. Recruitment criteria are stringent enough to reject applicants that might cause problems.

20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation?
The Disorder occasionally buys the services of mercenary groups. But other than that? Not a lot of nations are eager to enter into a military alliance with the loons who want to purge the cosmos and end the reign of all order.

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military?
It's hard to quantify this exactly, because a huge number of purely scientific ventures also have very obvious military applications. Fleet expansion accounts for about 15% of public-sector replicator time, and the fleet consumes a whopping 40% of the reactor fuel budget.

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans?
Appreciative, bordering on reverent. Fleet Operators (quite literally, operators of weapons) are the fearless souls that throw themselves into unimaginable danger, literally for the good of all chaos. The high-risk lifestyle means that they tend to get recloned moreso than other people, and the Disorder's cloning technologies are not perfect, resulting in slow and irreversible cognitive degeneration. It takes a special kind of dedication to chaos and anarchy, to choose accelerated destruction of one's own psyche above long-term self-preservation. However, the Disorder has not existed long enough for anyone to 'die' in this way.

23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans?
Similar to the above, although this is only the average of public opinion. Some extremists engage in quasi-religious worship of war heroes. Others regard the existence of the military as short-sighted boondoggle and resource-sink, which should be prioritized well below accelerated scientific advancement.

24. Are there special benefits for veterans?
Not really. All Disorder citizens enjoy very high standards of living.

25. If yes what kind of benefits?
N/A

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country?
No. The rule of law is generally regarded as an existential corruption, and if the military ever tried to act in any sort of law-enforcement capacity, things would get very violent. Provisions actually exist which allow things to get very violent, if this ever needs to happen.

27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree?
None exist to be militarized.

28. Is there a Gendarmerie in your nation?
Not really.

29. Is there a use of military courts for civilian offenses for non-military people?
No. Dispute resolution between citizens is handled with simulated martial combat. This system has entirely replaced the courts.

30. Are curfews or state of emergency enacted as of now? If yes for which stated reason?
No. And public opinion wouldn't support the installation of curfews.

31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason?
On rare occasions, the Disorder Fleet has had to blow up its own warships, when compromised by hostile electronic warfare or nanotechnology. Also rarely, the Disorder has had to hunt down foreign entities that infiltrated asteroid lairs.

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation?
The Disorder has a pseudo-randomized holiday celebration twice per galactic year, where they celebrate their own prosperity and the technological superiority responsible for it. One of the components of that celebration includes a lot of spaceships, live ordinance, and vaporized asteroids.

33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media?
A bit, but not really. Public opinion is generally pro-military, and privately-generated media tends to reflect that. The science council is adamant that they have no business whatsoever attempting to influence public opinion, because anti-authoritarian sentiment is very strong within the Disorder.

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many?
Yes, but this varies. The Disorder has lander-structures that they can tow through hyperspace and park upon enemy worlds. Once their function is finished, they are launched back into space and recovered. It is rare for more than 10 of these structures to be in active use at any given time.

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns?
Yes. Armament is manufactured and provided by the Science Council. Weaponry is considered a free public good, comparable to some other nations' healthcare.

36. How many weapons there are per 100 people?
Around 2000. The Disorder has substantial reserves of weaponry, varying in scale from sidearms to space carriers.

37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias?
Yes. Squadrons are allowed to form and dissolve naturally within the Disorder Fleet, as individual operators' objectives converge and diverge. This is how their entire military works.

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures?
Extremely. Hyperspace telepathy makes it easy for people to monitor both the Fleet and the Science Council, to make sure that absolutely everything they are doing is 100% above board.

39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely?
The Fleet mostly consists of armed spacecraft. Extreme over-engineering & maximally-integrated system design produces starships that are incredibly small, dense, and performant - but often the only way to repair or upgrade such a ship is to break it down and replicate it anew. Industrially speaking, this is incredibly expensive, especially when combined with a science program that churns out technological improvements almost continuously. Starships older than one galactic year are unprecedentedly rare, and almost unheard of.

40. Are your MBT,IFV,APC,helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks?
The Disorder Fleet has more warships than the Disorder has citizens. They maintain an extremely healthy strategic reserve, so that the fleet can endure various possible disasters with no serious consequences.

A secular destruction-cult, a rogue nation of space nomads, militarized mad scientists & anarchists.

NS Stats for The Disorder are not IC. These are.

5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation?
No

6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation?
N/A

7. How long does conscription last?
N/A

8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law?

No

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military?
Minimum is 18 and maximum 40

17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age?
No, but officers face strenuous tests of leadership, tactical ability, and ability to succeed rather than break under pressure. This makes for a small but very, very good officer corps.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years?
No

19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years?
No

20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation?
No

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military?
Approximately 2%

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans?
As below. Veterans Day is held every year to commemorate the sacrifices of Cordian veterans.

23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans?
Appreciative. While it's hard to know what deployments away from one's family are like (something most common in the Air Force and Navy), and Cordia doesn't have much of a history in war, the sacrifice of veterans for their country is well-documented and generally acknowledged.

24. Are there special benefits for veterans?
Yes

25. If yes what kind of benefits?
While Cordia's healthcare system is extensive, it falls short on the mental side. Veterans receive full coverage for mental-health-related services such as counseling.

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country?
No

27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree?
No

No

31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason?
No

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation?
Once a year, on Cordian Unification Day. This parade sees tanks and APCs rumbling through the streets of Cordasfjord and ships firing salutes from in the harbor.

33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media?
No, the media is completely free to criticize the government and military, though most support the military

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many?
No

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns?
No

36. How many weapons there are per 100 people?
5

37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias?
No

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures?
Decidedly so, but only to the executive and legislature and the information is not publicly available.

39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely?
The military is very modern, contrary to Cordia's generally pacifist nature. This is due to Cordia's strong naval tradition, resulting in a very strong and very modern naval force, as well as the general "us against the world" sense held by many Cordians, which has promoted much irrationality throughout Cordia. Approximate vehicle (ship, tank, APC, etc.) average of four years old for the main military, though this is not a very thought-out number and I'd rather it not be included in calculations if possible.

40. Are your MBT,IFV,APC,helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks?
All combat personnel, yes, but transport trucks are needed for support personnel.

The YEVRAZ (Young Eurasian Valiant Revolutionary Autonomous Zones) or the Limonovshchina is a series of authoritarian communist, patriotic socialist and revolutionary nationalist territories across Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus in rebellion against EU, NATO, CIS and their respective national governments. It is inspired by national bolshevism and eurasianism of Karl-Otto Paetel, Eduard Limonov and Alexander Dugin and led by the National Bolshevik Party of Eurasia or NBPE.
Call me Limon. Juche Gang. Stalin did nothing wrong. I am a national communist, socialist patriot, revolutionary republican, state atheist and anthropocentric.
This nation is a hilarious exaggeration of my political beliefs and so does not represent them.
