Blasphemy against the national religion of Mammalicism is technically legal, yet is uncommon due to its sheer scale. The same goes for other religions common in Duotona, like Christianity and Buddhism.

Blasphemy is not considered a crime and is protected by free speech laws and constitutional laws. In no way the Federal Republic States limits speech on behalf of blasphemy.

Under the 1966 Federal Penal Code, blasphemy is not considered as a crime in Pirusavia and is usually categorised as "free speech". However, when the blasphemous speech is blatantly calling for violent actions, it could be punishable with three years of jailtime on the grounds of "public disturbance during peacetime".

We have no blasphemy laws, as both our goverment and society as a whole are very secular/atheistic. In fact, our constitution states "all laws and goverment acts shall have their basis in scientific and rational principles. Religion, spiritualism, or superstition shall have no influence over law, and the state is empowered to prevent negative influence from said ideas."

The Technate of Port-Lalonde is a heavily secular state, and as such there are no blasphemy laws. In fact, laws restricting speech (such as hate speech laws), specifically mention that religious offence cannot be considered a valid reason to restrict free speech.

Blasphemy, as understood by most nations, is not only legal but encouraged in Ilessia. The gods protected by the blasphemy laws of other nations are seen as dead gods or Met Elohim and their religions as competitors to the authority of the People's Templar Order, the religious order governing Ilessia. In Ilessia, the god worshiped is the People, so blasphemy here would be something akin to anti-democratic sentiment elsewhere.
My God is none other than Demos, the people. Only the popular masses are all-knowing, almighty and ever-present on earth. Therefore my lifetime motto is: The people are my God. Only the people can defeat the forces of Mammon and seize the throne of civilization in order to demolish it forever and build a temple in its place for the praise of its everlasting, shining glory. May a New Jerusalem rise from the ashes of Mammon and the rest of the false idols given to us from above. Join Ordo Templi Populares, the army of God the People!

The Ourequi government regards the right to free speech as very important, and so while blasphemy is frowned upon, there are no specific laws against it. And anyway, blasphemy is kind of hard considering the nature of Jaism.

Blasphemy Laws in the United Kingdom

Postby Great Britain eke Northern Ireland » Sat Feb 05, 2022 9:36 am

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland does not currently require obedience of ‘blasphemy laws’ within its sovereign territory nor within any of its overseas territories. Blasphemy laws in England and Wales were abolished in AD 2008. The same was done in Scotland in AD 2023. Following the parliamentary success of the People’s Justice Party, national devolution was abolished and along with it the legal distinctions of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland; this functionally abolished blasphemy in Northern Ireland.

However, de facto blasphemy laws have been reinstated or passed in certain shires (formerly ‘counties’) due to the interreligious, ethnic and or cultural tensions present. The Acts of Public Peace, as they’re collectively called, replaced earlier hate speech and blasphemy laws within these shires, mostly in Ulster (an legal and preferred alternative name for Northern Ireland by HM Government), where Protestant-Catholic tensions remain strong. Acts of Public Peace were also laid down in shires, ridings (1/3 of a shire), hundreds, lathes, boroughs and parishes were tensions were at threatening levels. The decision to pass an Act of Public Peace lies with local authorities. Punishments for breaching an Act of Public Peace include fines, gaoltime and community service.

Blasphemy is legally a crime punishable with fines and 1-2 year prison sentences depending on the number of times previosuly comitted (First just a warning, second a fine equivalent to $500, third a $2000 fine, and every instance beyond this a $5000 fine and a sentence ranging from 1-2 years in jail. Judges may override the escalation however if it is particularly egregious (such as disrupting a religious ceremony, extremely vulgar or particularly insulting) and impose the 5000 dollar fine and prison sentence

In SO, blasphemy is not a crime in itself. However, hate crimes, disrupting the peace, and slander on religous grounds (ie, saying that an Islamic church is planning on attacking somewhere that then causes the church to be harmed) is illegal.

Theedish law recognises "Blasphemy" as a criminal offence, but within which is comprehended two distinct offences:

Atheism - defined as "forceful and considered insistence by words or writings that God does not exist; or that Jesus Christ is neither Word of God and God nor his Son; or that the Holy Spirit is not; or denying any other doctrine as defined by the Creeds and Councils since time immemorial accepted; or denying the inspiration and canonicity of the Holy Scriptures; or the holy authority of the Sacred Church; as well as any other other impious and impenitent act designed to extinguish the natural sense of difference between good and evil, which is the foundation and support of society." This kind of blasphemy is, by common law, punishable by death. However, under the Judgment of Death Act 1861, judges may substitute a lesser felony penalty, usually imprisonment in the hulks for a term of 5-10 years. Prosecutions for this form of blasphemy are rare.

Blasphemous attributions, swearings or imprecations - defined as "misattribution of any thing not consistent with God's perfections, oaths and swearings, as well as imprecations and hot words, expressed by words or writings in ignorance or the heat of passion." This is considered a misdeed equivalent to breaking the peace and is punished, depending on the circumstances, by entering into recognizances, sureties, paying fines, or by a brief period of confinement in jail.

Blasphemy is currently legal in the Directorate. However, it used to be illegal and enforced. From 1843 to 1876, blasphemy against the state religion - Roman Catholicism - was a heinous crime. However, once the Riograndense Republic adopted a secular stance, blasphemy laws were gradually phased out, being completely obsolete by 1910. The last person condemned for blasphemy was an anarchist journalist named Antônio Guimarães Filho, who was arrested in 1904 and released in 1907.

Those who are religious say that the current Riograndense government practices "state-sponsored blasphemy".
