The Federal Republic of Haneke is currently accepting applications for foreign embassies, consulates and diplomatic offices.

All diplomatic buildings will be located in our nation's capital, Tornay, in the beautiful and scenic Wallan Province. Tornay is a small yet modern urban center with all of the luxuries and amenities for your diplomatic staff to enjoy, consistently ranked as one of the most pleasant major cities in the world. Wallan Province is home to a busy international port, impressive man-made canal system and beautiful fields supported by local agriculture.
OPTIONS AVAILABLE
Embassy - Houses an ambassador, their immediate family and a large diplomatic staff with full-time living quarters and support services in an enclosed complex. Appropriate for major countries who wish to foster deep diplomatic relations with Haneke or have a sizeable contingent of expatriate citizens living here. Highest safety, security & luxury options are available, along with full customization based on the requesting nation's wants & needs. All grounds and buildings are considered extraterritorial.
Consulate - Houses an ambassador or minor diplomatic representative and their immediate staff. Appropriate for countries who wish to establish a diplomatic presence but do not feel the need for a full embassy. Can process routine and somewhat complex diplomatic actions. Some additional safety & security options are available above that of routine measures compliant with local building code. All grounds and buildings are considered extraterritorial.
Diplomatic Office - Houses a small staff of diplomatic workers who can process routine services and assist their nation's tourists in non-complex matters while in Haneke. Suitable for countries who wish to have a nominal diplomatic presence but do not have a need for more complex services. Housed in a routine office setting, with normal safety & security options available. The office itself is considered extraterritorial, however, the larger building may be under local jurisdiction or combined jurisdiction with other nations.
SAFETY & SECURITY
We recognize that your first concern in establishing an embassy is the safety and security of your ambassador, their family, and staff. Rest assured that Haneke is a safe and welcoming nation that takes its national security and relationships with its allies very seriously. Haneke is home to one of the most robust and well-trained police forces in the world, along with a small but capable Royal Marine Commando special operations contingent specially trained to respond to terrorist attack or complex criminal actions.
Regardless of whether you choose an embassy, consulate or diplomatic office, you will be permitted to have your own security staff on the premises. Security staff may be military or gendarmerie forces, law enforcement officers, or private security agents depending on your preference.
Security staff may be armed with handguns and less-lethal weaponry and may carry them concealed or openly in view of the public. Weapons such as assault rifles, submachine guns, sniper rifles, and shotguns are to be kept secured in the armory unless there is a need for an elevated security posture, or to respond to a criminal or terrorist incident. Ceremonial non-firing weapons are exempt from this policy.
Diplomatic vehicles may be armored for protection of personnel against attack; however, tanks, armored personnel carriers and other military-style vehicles are inappropriate for use in the domestic setting of Haneke. Vehicles with artillery or crew-served weapons are absolutely prohibited. Helicopters for diplomatic travel may be maintained at the embassy level only, and must comply with local air traffic procedures.
All buildings in Haneke must be outfitted with an appropriate fire alarm, fire suppression system, basic burglary alarm, tempered glass windows, a rudimentary CCTV system which monitors common areas and entrances. However, if you wish to increase the security posture of your building, there are a number of additional options available, including a panic room/disaster shelter, full-scale intrusion detection system, an enhanced CCTV network, bulletproofed glass and doors, among other options upon request.
