The nations name can also be written with an "i" instead of "y", "Empire of HarIan", or without the "H", "Empire of ArIan".
But even more different is the somewhat official nickname of the country, "Hay", not to be confused with the English word that designates erbage and especially grass mowed and cured for fodder, having a different pronunciation, being said "ha-i, and it's not uncommon to see even official documents using this name (example: "Empire of Haiy").
