Seems difficult as there are inevitably millions of books, theories, and ideas all referred to as twin universe

No, I mean the universe grafted onto this one. Have you heard of it before? Please be honest, I don't care if you have or not.

Quite right, only two universes would be ridiculous.

AH, fine I will answer for you! The reason you have not heard of the Twin Universe is because we found out exactly what a hydrogen generator can do. Now we are down to one at the moment.

The number of universes is limitless as understood by one intelligent enough to grasp the concept of the multi-verse so clearly even if we built a thousand of these devices and killed a thousand universes we would have accomplished nothing.

I don't think it really matters. Isn't it possible they were independently created, and just happened to be called the same thing?

Not when they aknowledge being from different universes. Transdimensional communication is however something the director wants no part in.

They often do that in the belief that we'll somehow forget we could wipe them from existence without a second thought.

Common sense is if you tell someone not to do something they will want to do it more. It is possible that if you never said anything the idea may have never came around.

Well maybe next time keep the "unholy" tech to your self so you don't give people the idea to make one them selfs which could be more dangerous then what you have because it fails or succeeds horribly or greatly.
