For Urcea, it's Neanderthal man. A small tribe nearly 10,000 years ago began building underground as cro magnon man (homo sapiens) began to dominate the surface. The civilization fed itself on the creatures underground. Eventually, it expanded; they became prosperous. In the middle ages, Urceans reestablished contact; many thought the neanderthals were dwarves, not yet having the complex knowledge of the origin of man. Since then, neanderthal man has spread out across the Empire, though they mainly still reside in their underground nation. Formally, the "Kingdom of the Mountain" is an independent realm within the Empire. In fact, however, it has sworn fealty to the Emperor and is pretty much a part of the Empire, so much so that its citizens are counted towards the overall population of the Empire. Neanderthal man makes up about 17% of the Empire's populace.

Holy Marsh does not have an indigenous non-human population, though it appears that in the era of the First Scripture(3200 BS-3000 BS) there were nekos. Modern day Holy Marsh is tolerant, and therefore it is likely that a non-human population will grow.

Around 16%-18% of the population of the Teccorri Republic is made up of the demihuman species known as Neko. This is a general term, taken from the Japanese Nekomimi, but other varieties of similar species reside as well, and fall under the Neko heading: Such as Inumimi and Kitsunemimi.

The Teccorri Republic has gone to great lengths to ensure equality for demihumans, as well as having a standing order to rescue any enslaved demihumans, or any in nations without equal rights for demihumans, where said demihumans ask for salvation.

We have at least some of every relatively normal non-human sapient species in NationStates as our immigration policy has not historically discriminated against them. We do not have any which are extremely powerful, which do not function as autonomous individuals, which are extremely rare, or which are inherently evil. We also do not have any AIs. Those we do have make up less than 1% of the population.
