Religion: Religion is a very important and widely discussed subject in Greater Rhodes, and although most Rhodians conform to a certain religion, they usually have liberal attitudes towards the community-based participation portion (i.e; going to church, mosque, temple, etc.) or just do not go at all. Thus, religion is focused more intrinsically and much more towards what works for the common Rhodian individually, rather than pushing ones religion on other citizens. Rhodian Catholicism is a more liberally based form of Roman Catholicism with a great emphasis on Jesuit teachings. Also, our government is and will be forever secular as stated by the constitution.

The nation is officially Roman Catholic, about 95% of the people are Roman Catholic, and Catholicism is taught in the schools. However, average Mass attendance tends to hover around 48%.

The remaining five percent is a mix of other religions (and non-religion) primarily brought over by immigrants from non-Catholic countries. The percentage of non-Catholics is quite low because other religions were basically illegal prior to 1914, and there was very little immigration until recently.

In Ashas Favor, we thrive on Religious Freedom. Even though we are a predominantly Christian Nation, we refuse to allow decension based on Religion. Everyone has a right to worship freely and you also have the freedom to be Atheist. Religious institutions do not receive tax exempt status in Ashas Favor due to the inability to regulate religious funds that are given to political causes.

While the leader of Ashas Favor claims Baptist Christianity as his religion, he has appointed members of Judaism, Islam, and even Atheist to his decision making counsel.
