This is a widespread consensus among the Prut, hence parenting styles might differ compared to other nations. Generally as long as children suffer no permanent harm or extreme deprivation it's the legal guardians right and responsibility to determine the extent and content of any disciplinary action or punishment for their wards. There's also more specific laws regarding a child's rights and obligations, e.g. no child can be denied learning the local language and/or their legal guardians' language, attending school, shelter, etc. As long these rights are not violated, and general laws about harming another are considered, legal guardians have free reign to act according to their judgement.

Potentially suffering the same harm, deprivation, affliction, sanction or any other penalty one has inflicted upon the child, e.g. someone beating a child might be beaten up. Generally this is a legal technicality and in most cases any repercussions would be determined by the courts. The most likely outcome of child abuse would be the victim being separated from the legal guardians and the legal guardians being penalised by the court. The likely now former legal guardians are likely to be sued by the child, or the child's legal representatives, for any harm or damages inflicted. Extreme cases, e.g. infanticide or such, might result in exile, banishment, dispossession, disenfranchisement, or similar legal punishments.

1. Parents can punish their children by grounding them, time outs, etc. Spankings and other forms of physical punishment are looked down upon, but still practiced by some. Child abuse and extreme discipline is not allowed.

2. Kids must keep the religion of their parents.

3. It is allowed for Jewish people but for everyone else it is banned.
