The carrying of firearms in public, open or otherwise, is typically restricted to those who use such things occupationally (militia, hunters, etc...). However, gun ownership is ostensibly mandatory; every citizen is assigned weaponry for civil defence purposes which is stored in an armory within their commune's hub.

Citizens may own most forms of handgun, semi-automatic and bolt action rifles and non-automatic shotguns.

Does your nation have a right to bear arms or something similar?
Yes. The Australic Constitution recognises the right to armament as a right pursuant to the right of the worker to organise. As stated by Marx and Engels;

“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.”

What is the full process for purchase of a firearm in your country?
There is little process; for most their weapons are assigned during civil service and/or vocational training. For any recreational firearm, proper training, certification, and a screening check must be done before any requisition is fulfilled.

Firearms laws in the Kingdom of Rwizikuru, are in theory, pretty strict, with firearms only being allowed to be used by soldiers or by police. However, in areas where government control is lax or non-existent, particularly in remote areas, firearm ownership is somewhat common among the ordinary populace.

What is the minimum age for possession of firearms/ammunition? Under federal law the minimum age is 18 to purchase a firearm. There is no age limit to use a firearm under federal law

Are citizens allowed to carry firearms? If so, do they require a special license or permit? Depends on the province. Though under federal law persons above the age of 20 are allowed to conceal carry a firearm in federal areas, though this requires a permit to do so.

Most provinces allow the concealed carry of firearms, with only 5 provinces prohibiting any carrying. In 40 provinces there are no license requirements as they follow what is called constitutional carry, in which they say that since the constitution allows for firearms for self defense that the constitution also allows for carrying.

What firearms are citizens allowed to purchase? Any firearm is legally allowed to be purchased. Federal law attempted to block certain firearms but in Gun Collectors of Thermodolia and the Thermodolian Firearms Association v. the National Republic of Thermodolia the Constitutional Court ruled that article 13 applied to all firearms and as such no firearm shall be prohibited from being able to be purchased unless a person has been prevented from exercising other rights due to a criminal sentence.

What will prohibit someone from buying/possessing firearms or ammunition? Federally not being a citizen of Thermodolia or a Thermodolian National or, failing the criminal background check (those with felonies are prohibited from owning firearms).

On the provincial level more things can be added however these restrictions must comply with the above court case and with Goêge v. the State of Plîthá in which the constitutional court ruled that neither the federal government nor the provinces shall impose mental health restrictions on the ownership of firearms and that no restriction should cause an undue burden.

Are firearms registered in your country? They can be. Though federal law currently prohibits the use of a federal or national registry. Only provinces may create their own registry.

Is there a limit to the amount of firearms someone may own? No.

Is there a limit to the amount of ammo someone may purchase? In some provinces there are ammunition limits however as established in Goêge v. the State of Plîthá such limits should not cause an undue burden and can not be outrageous.

Does your nation have a right to bear arms or something similar? Yes. Article 13 of the constitution specifically states that “All citizens in Thermodolia shall have the right to defend themselves, their loved ones, and their property from harm. The use of firearms to protect the already mentioned shall also be protected.”

What is the full process for purchase of a firearm in your country?

As the process depends on the provinces the average situation will be used:

- Hold Thermodolian citizenship or be a Thermodolian National and be at least 18 years of age
- Go to a licensed firearms dealer
- After selecting the firearm(s) you wish to purchase, present your Federal ID Card or other ID.
- The clerk will then input your information and run the background check.
- Pass a criminal background check
- After passing the background check, you’ll pay for the firearms
- After that you are free to use the firearms from thereafter.

Under Thermodolian law sales between private persons are illegal, however this illegality only extends nationally and as such does not apply to any Republics or Commonwealths. Currently three out of five Republics allow for the sale of firearms between private individuals.

While sales between private individuals is illegal obtaining a federal gun dealer license is fairly easy and is a common loophole around the above law

by Victorious Decepticons
Since firearms, by the technical definition of the term, are obsolete in Victorious Decepticons, we will answer according to our laws for energy blasters (our weapons of choice).

What is the minimum age for purchase of firearms?
There isn't any.
What is the minimum age for possession of firearms/ammunition? 0. Every new Decepticon MUST be fully armed according to the Minimum Design Specification before he is ever activated.
Are citizens allowed to carry firearms? It's a requirement, not an allowance. An unarmed Decepticon will not live long. If so, do they require a special license or permit? No.
What firearms are citizens allowed to purchase? All of them. From nukes to stone-throwing slings, they're all legal. However, only those that at least meet or exceed the government-mandated Minimum Design Specification count towards the armamentation requirement. Anything weaker than this is rightfully considered a toy even if you could easily kill unarmored biologicals with it. On Cybertron, biologicals are not what you are expected to need to fight against.
What will prohibit someone from buying/possessing firearms or ammunition? Lack of money and the lack of ability to steal the desired item. If you don't have one or the other, you're pretty much screwed. You'd better at least come up with a prop blaster, or else you'll be melted down by those who realize that you can't defend yourself against such a fate!

Are firearms registered in your country? No.
Is there a limit to the amount of firearms someone may own? No. If you want to spend your money on an arsenal bigger than that held by small nations, go ahead. Just remember that no matter what you have, the Decepticon Military has more and better of it, so don't get any wild ideas of being the new leader.
Is there a limit to the amount of ammo someone may purchase? Decepticon Blasters don't use the kind of ammo that runs out like bullets can. Instead, they're powered by our own engines. The only limit is how much Energon you can fit into your tank, your spare tanks, and your vaults.
Does your nation have a right to bear arms or something similar? It is a DUTY for EVERY citizen to be properly armed at ALL times, AND to know how to use their weapons.
What is the full process for purchase of a firearm in your country? Get your money. Go into one of the stores that sells blasters. Tell the guy at the counter which one(s) you want. Pay. You are now the owner of one or more new blasters. After this, you will typically go home, uninstall your old ones from your body, and install your new ones.

As hardwired body parts, they will instantly respond to your fire commands, and you won't have to draw because they're "pre-drawn" by virtue of being attached to your arms (or another convenient part, like your shoulders). Before you get cocky about this, remember that this is also true of every other Decepticon citizen, so you're really just ensuring that you're not comparatively weak!
