Let’s start off with an intro about my national animal :

The official national animal of Brilliantly is The Tiger. We choose this national animal because in our language, hence brillian, it is upon seen that tigers are strong and smart. Each year, certain ethic groups play TigerHunt. It where the innocentsters protect the tiger while the The Evil poachers try to steal the tiger. The detectives try to find them before all the tigers ( usually 6 ) are stolen. Also tiger’s health is protected in this game by using fake tigers. Tigers are forbidden from being hunted and harmed in anyway, given food when asked and if found, gets an medical checkup at a special Tiger clinic. Habitats for a tiger is ever growing with new areas reserved for wildlife especially tigers. Areas where never known to be taken away from tigers and projects found to I,pact gives negatively are shut down and scrapped.

There are several, however the most unique one, is the national mammal:
1) The Kouai


The Kouai is the last remaining Gondwanathere on earth and can only be found in Bunkaiia. It's a slow-moving fairly large herbivores that walks with splayed legs and lays eggs. Females can carry an egg in each of her side sphincter pouches. Females are also much larger than the males and live much longer lives as well. She are very well adapted at walking through swampy, marshy terrain in the dense wetlands of Eastern Bunkaiia.

Why did you choose ( National animal name ) as your national animal?
Since it lays eggs, and is primarily a herbivore, it is symbolically connected to the Bunkaiian people, who love idea of rebirth, renewal, pacifism and are religiously vegan, vegetarian or insectarian.

What are your nation doing to protect your national animal?
The killing, harming, enslavement, or threatening of any human, animal with a vertebrate or cephalopod is strictly forbidden by law.
How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it?
People do dress up as them and their eggs during the end of year celebrations to welcome in the new (renewal) year. Kouai egg-shaped packages filled with goodies are shared among friends to celebrate the new year.

Why did you choose the Lorrani Parrot as your national animal? Because it is one of Lorrana's most well known and popular endemic animals. It's also very beautiful.

What are your nation doing to protect your national animal? Of course, it's illegal to harm any of these birds. In addition, destroying any type of forested land is illegal.

How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it? Crumbly almond and rose desserts shaped like parrots are very popular, especially among the older folk

Why did you choose The Ka'ardynil as your national animal?
It's a large, red carnivorous bird. Perfect for what our nation stands for.

It is a crime to hunt or cause harm to the Ka'ardynil.

How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it ?
It is a logo of many state-run businesses in Sjovakt, as well as being commonly found in Pro-Sjovakti imagery, and state media, as well as being the name of a famous legion in the Sjovakti military.

Traditions associated with the Ka'ardynil include a Ka'ardynil being set free from a cage, as part of the coronation ceremony for new leaders, in places of worship, they are kept free to roam around in the temples, Ka'ardynils are sometimes buried with important people when they die, and more.

Why did you choose ( National animal name ) as your national animal ? Swan represents peace, grace, beauty, and romance, which reflects the sublte culture of Andocara
What are your nation doing to protect your national animal? They cannot be hunted
How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it ? It's not really celebrated, other than on Andocara Foundation Day, where the Swan is frequently depicted with the Andocarian flag.

The Zagreb-Manila-Fort Bald Kosmo is a type of bird, which has a diet consisting of bangus (milkfish) and various types of worms, it is usually found throughout Eurasia spanning from Iceland, all the way to Timor-Leste. But this isn’t the only one of it’s kind. Throughout the history of Lemsrow, multiple species related to the Zagreb-Manila-Fort Bald Kosmo such as the Melaveda-Jose Kosmo, Quiripty-Sendai Kosmo, Shikoku-Kanto Kosmo, Arkhangelsk-Bahamut Kosmo, and 19 or so more species not mentioned.

Due to the thousands of environmental laws passed in Parliament, it is recognized as a protected species regardless of the population, and anyone caught trying to hunt is to be executed by killing a national animal. Scientifically speaking, it is quite similar to the Philippine Eagle in appearance with a head with feathers either sticking out or is combed, the wings are fully covered with thick feathers except the parts of the wings which are closest to the center of it’s body. And generally speaking, it has thick feathers all the way down to it’s tail.

It’s Life Span is 10-15 years, which means that it becomes a teen in Year 2, and then becomes a senior at Year 7. And is generally kept as a pet. But males have a longer life span due to their aggressiveness to catch food. Males usually live 16-25 years while females live to 10-15 years. It is currently unknown why males in this type of bird can live older than it’s female counterparts.

A male’s job is to protect it’s offspring and scavenge for food, while taking care of the offspring if the mother is out catching food. And the female’s job is to lay eggs, look for a suitable place to lay eggs and to scavenge for bangus (milkfish) due to it’s high protein content.

How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it ?

- It is generally a pet and is recommended to scratch it 6 times a day. In order to clean it, all you need is a tub of water and the Kosmo will “swim” around it cleaning itself, and when it’s done, it goes back to it’s home.

On every October 16th, is Kosmo Day where we celebrate the animal and appreciate it lowering suicide rates and being a good friend in general.

The common goldfish (Carassius auratus).

Why did you choose The goldfish as your national animal?
During the 1990s, pet owners released their pet goldfish into the various streams, ponds, and lakes in Tremulo. This briefly destabilized the nations freshwater ecosystems, before the goldfish naturalized into them with predatation from bass and pikes. After this event Tremuloan Hoosiers ironically adopted the animal as their national symbol, due to its accidental release and rapid spread (similar to the Hoosiers themselves).

It is illegal to release goldfish into the wild, and goldfish in the pet trade are moderately regulated.

How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it ?
There is a goldfish fishing season during the months of June and July, with fishermen encouraged to keep any fish longer than 10 inches.

The Mikudayō was chosen as the national animal because it is the reason why the Caleon people are in Central Europe and not in Laos.

Very few environmental regulations are held on them because the animals are extremely volatile and prone to attacking things at random if they’re not domesticated, and they also breed faster than rabbits, meaning that they produce faster than they are poached.

Mikudayō hunting is only permitted from the first Monday of October to the last Friday of November, when mothers are not typically pregnant, and Meeks (child Mikudayōes) cannot be poached/hunted until the age of 4 (this is kept track of by the Caleonian Animal Rescue Department via a virtual drone tagging system that tracks every Dayō born after 2022. Hunters are given access to this information and may select which Dayō to hunt with approval from the CARD prior to going out on their expedition). Hunters may only collect up to 3 Dayōes per expedition and have up to 3 successful expeditions, with all game captured being considered their property, alive or dead. Mikudayōes have a natural life span of up to 8 years in the wild, and up to 25 in human care.

What is your national animal ? The unicorn. There are technically several different species of unicorn in Olwe (including some Equus sapiens diaspora from allied nations), but all of the non-sapient ones are equally our national animal.
Why did you choose ( National animal name ) as your national animal ? The national identity of Olwe is pretty tied up in magic, and unicorns are one of the most widely known magical creatures.
What are your nation doing to protect your national animal ? It’s illegal to hunt or kill them, and our already existing environmental laws keep habitat destruction to a minimum.
How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it ? There’s a Quidditch team named the Unicorns, other than that nothing organized.

What is your national animal?: The bee.

Why did you choose bees as your national animal?: They represent the values of hard work and persisting, even when under extreme threat from the outside. It also commonly shows up in Duotona, but not any of its neighbours.

What are your nation doing to protect your national animal?: It has been classed as an "unhuntable" species by the government, meaning the intentional killing of a bee when you are the aggressor is illegal and can get you fined or jailed if if the act is on a large scale. The Duotonan nature reserve was also set up in 2016 to protect not only bees but Duotonan wildlife at large.

How is your national animal celebrated and any traditions associated with it?: Bees are celebrated in the national holiday of the Summer Festival. This is a time when honey is sold on mass, yet is only sold when there is validation it was collected humanely. There is also a bee statue in Kantan, the country's second largest city as a memorial to its importance to our culture.

The national animal of Australia is the Red Kangaroo. The Red Kangaroo is the largest and most widespread species of kangaroo, found across most of continental Australia, and is the largest living marsupial in the world.

The Red Kangaroo was first officially designated a national animal in 1908 with its inclusion in the national coat of arms, alongside the emu. Its status was maintained following the 1923 revolution and into the present day.

As a native animal the red kangaroo is protected by state and national legislation, but the population is numerous enough that red kangaroos are considered to be a non-threatened species. Kangaroos arre both farmed and hunted for their lean meat and leather. Other parts, such as kangaroo sinew, are utilised in traditional aboriginal tool-making.

Kangaroos feature within aboriginal Dreamtime folklore, and also feature in Australic art, literature, coinage, and symbology.
