The NPS Aer Fleet is a force to be reckoned with. As a landlocked nation, the NPS does not have to deal with the construction and maintenance of military naval ships. Hence our Aer Fleet absorbs all of the funding other nations must waste on that endeavor. Hence, for our population and economic levels, our airforce is far above par. Air superiority is almost never lost against an opponent of equal population and economic stature. In fact, projections suggest that the playing field would be balanced, in the air at least, against an opponent with a full half again as large population as the NPS.

Specifically amongst the Aer Fleet, the Papal helicopters are some of the most well-known symbols of Vexxia, and for good reason. They form the main front of any Papal invasion force, and serve purposes that range from troops transportation to anti-air. The sheer displacement of air that occurs after the launch of a full-scale invasion force can result in widespread deforestation, and damage to an enemy country's environment and infrastructure.

Not much, really.

The Temeevian military isn't "bad", nor is it necessarily one of the superior armies in existence. It's a 'generic' force, with a 'generic' history. Temeev's conflicts with modern armies are few; for most of Temeev's existence (1700's - early 1900's) the "Weldonian Temeevians" ("Weldonians", a rarely used term, refers, usually, to any resident of Temeev who is not an ethnic Temeevian. "Weldonians" are Caucasians, typically Praetonian; Dwight Weldon, the colonist who re-founded Iberini in Temeev was a Praetonian) have been at war with indigenous Temeevians, whose technologies were inferior.

In the modern era, Temeev has been involved in a few tropical battles in which Temeevian forces have employed daring tactics to seize control of enemy positions on island-forts. In the mid-1900's, the Temeevian army was considered quite large, proportional to the population of Temeev, and was used to annex several territories in the far west, near the Afernus river. The Afernians, a modernized culture, were able to hold off this Weldonian invasion for some time, though were eventually forced into submission. Weldonian casualties were significant.

Temeev's modern military is considered reasonably trained, well-equipped, and well-supplied. It is a medium-small force, comparative to the population of the Grand Duchy, and is generally inactive. Temeevian troops (the "greens"; the uniform is a tan-green color) are usually stationed in settlements, rather than countryside forts, and are allowed to associate with the populace once some mandatory procedures have been finished. Troops are generally well-paid and non-taxed, a luxury. The green-suited, red beret-ed Temeevian infantryman striding down a line of shops is an archetypal image of Temeev, though it has not been so common in recent decades.

The Temeevian army isn't 'infamous' in regards to its notoriety; troops aren't viewed as deadly weapons, and it's typically been viewed as a force of good, though some controversy has arisen in regards to its methods in dealing with the Afernians, which occurred at the beginning of the 'Progressive' era.

The sturmtruben "crusher unit" (25 men) killed 5000 enemy soldiers in one afternoon. It took only 2876 rounds exactly. The rest were cut down, beaten to death or somehow killed by their own allies. 14 of the crusher unit were near dead and all critically wounded by the end but miraculously there were no confederate casualties. This was an amazing feat and showed the sturmtruben were truly the super soldiers their gear, training, and genetic modifications made them to be.

Nicksyllvania hereby condemns your brutal massacre of five thousand citizens, then proceded to trumpet it as a military victory against a competent fighting force.

We would also like to mention that real super soldiers don't need no stinkin' genetic modifications, they are born perfect.

Actually, I was talking about something that happened during the emergence of the country. The enemy was a fully competent force(If you consider 5000 men trained to kill non-Muslims competent) The sturmtruben were attacked first, the enemy was crushed. End of story.

The Augarian military is considered one of the 'highest tech' in existence; it's notoriously small, though, due to logistics being handled by the private industry and with great efficiency, the entirety of the 600,000 troops are battle-ready. All soldiers receive 7 years of training and schooling at a military academy, one year of which is spent simply on marching, and nothing else (this is meant to instill absolute, unquestioning discipline). Troops are not 'brainwashed', but they are expected to obey orders, and disregard what is considered 'insignificant'.

The modern Augarian military is famous for its tactics of non-stop battle; though not often at war, the Augarian army and army-airforce is constantly on the move. Troops are expected to board a shuttle, fly over or land at an enemy position, wipe out anything and everything in sight within a minute or two, and continue flying to the next base. Anything left behind is meant to be killed off by chemical weapons, for which the Augarian army is infamous.

Though the Augarian military is kept on a strict creed of never intentionally harming civilian lives, and always taking and treating prisoners with great respect, they are permitted to do whatever is necessary to achieve an objective. If a non-combatant is somehow obstructing that path, then the policy of 'Do whatever it takes' (Literally: "Sie machte angquekh gahr") comes into affect.
