"De los vientos" translates into English as "Of the winds".There's nothing special about the name, for now...

[Chuying]

The name Chuying is made up of two words in Chinese; 珠 (Zhu) meaning Pearl and 瀛 (Ying) meaning Ocean, our name literally means Pearl of the Ocean since at one point we were a major trading hub for pearls, tea, silk, and other luxury items that were only able to be obtained from certain parts of the world. Since we were colonized by the British, when told the name of the island they romanized it and just called it Chuying since that's what their Western ears heard.

The problem with the name Eamhna is that we don't really know where it came from.

We know that around Celestinus's time (9th century AD) the archipelago was referred to as Emne in both Latin and Emnian. It has been conjectured that the element Emne may be derived from a Gaelic loanword and ultimately from Proto-Celtic *isa-mon ("holy mound"), possibly referring to the Knocks, the range of low hills that runs along the length of Áphall Island, but this is uncertain.

From King Daniel II, who conquered the Free County of Lamont in 1621 and annexed it to the Kingdom of Franklin, thus honoring his own victory over said country.

[Pirusavia]

The etymology of "Pirusavia" is unclear and very debatable. Currently, there are two major theories regarding the name:

The first theory, as proposed by the Institute of Linguistics in 1947, states that the word comes from 2 words of the Upper Mervalian dialect, "pirev" and "ruzau", meaning "plateau" and "meadowfields", respectively, in reference of the highland meadowfields commonly found across the Northern regions of the country.

The second theory, as proposed by Anthropological Society of Pirusavia in 1950, states that the word "Pirusavia" came from the name of an ancient Galennian tribe called "Peruteon", which lives in the far Southeastern Pirusavia. This particular tribe has close economic relations with the city-states of Ancient Cosorme as most of the tribe members were merchants. Due to this extensive relationship, the tribe's name was adopted by ancient Cosormian cartographers to became the name of a region encompassing the entire Conpirusavian Mountains, or the regions of Mervalia, Eastern Samgurtia, Puronia, and Galennia because they thought at first the Peruteons were nomadic people coming from the Northwest Pirusavia.

Moreover, nobody were sure why the Sagren Treaty signatories chose this name at the first place.
