How did YL ascend to power?

The Auraroe position is basically hereditary as it is connected to the Ashwood family who is believed to be related to the founder or the nation and is semi-divine as a result of that link. While the eldest child is more likely to gain the position they first need to reach a certain age (18) and complete a series of examinations and pass them before the Council of Elders can formally appoint them to the position. The Grand Vizier is appointed by the Auraroe while members of the Council of Elders elect members into their Council but the Grand Master/Mistress of their Council is also the Auaroe.

[Imperial Universalia]

Before becoming president of the Democratic State of Brazil (the predecessor state of Universalia), Evelina Chernetskaya was the head of the United Army for Liberation, a paramilitary group that fought in many wars, such as the Vietnam War and the Yom Kippur War, making its debut on the Six-Days War. Despite having a pro-western stance, the UAFL opposed the dictatorships that ruled Iberia and Latin America, and established contacts with resistance groups. When civil war broke out in Brazil, the UAFL supported the Democratic State of Brazil, a republic comprised of an alliance of democratic parties. In 1984, following the death of the Democratic State's president, Evelina was appointed as president.

In 1987 she was elected president in national elections after the end of the civil war. The same year, after the monarchy was restored, Evelina was elected prime minister. She was re-elected in 1991 and 1995. In 1997 she was the woman behind the coup that overthrew the Brazilian monarch. Evelina sat on the vacant throne and created Universalia, adopting the regnal name of Clara "the Tenacious". Nowadays she is the Pantokrateia of Universalia.

The current president, Aurora Covarrubias, was elected by the Imperial Congress following the 2011 elections.

Grand Marshal Rokoric assented to power when the old Mordkan Royal Family got assassinated by Communist Insurgents during a civil war, Rokoric assumed emergency powers, and after the defeat of the Communists, and with the monarchy gone, Rokoric took the title of Grand Marshal of the new Republic.

[Wormfodder Delivery]

Noone actually knows that, Boss Delivery Worm was just always there. Or was she? Noone knows and no records don't allow one to check. Timetraveling hasn't worked either, due to how time doesn't really work in the WDS, so it likely will remain a mystery.

Cheems started a business in order to pay for his father's medical bills. After competition in the area caused it to stagnate, he moved to an unclaimed part of Equinox to setup factories. Eventually a small town was built there which prompted Equinox government officials to arrive on the scene. He decided to declare that this land was his nation out of fear of losing the money for his father.

[Ascion]

Chairman Kars Belzagar was the leader of the resistance in the civil war against A m e n r i a. He was also one of the founding fathers of the Asia-Pacific Union (Ascion), which, in the first ever presidential election, supported by the LAPS (League of Asia-Pacific Socialists), he won and became the president of Ascion for a few years, until 2045 where a the party mandated a decree to abolish the ruling term and he may rule until he dies.

[Alternate Gallifrey]

Following the end of the Last Great Time War in Heaven, Rassilon the Resurrected seized absolute power on Gallifrey as the Lord High President. After eight years of tyrannical rule Rassilon was overthrown in a bloodless coup after a Renegade Time Lord known as 'the Phoenix' returned to Gallifrey.

Since the position of President was suddenly left vacant the High Council used its emergency powers to appoint the Phoenix as the new Lord President. An official election was held several months later (which the Phoenix won).

[Kalosians]

Phaboras was elected President of the Kalosians in the 129 IK election as a member of the Hoplites party. He received 3.1 million votes and won with a 54.57% total.

[Baloo Kingdom]

A simple tankshot through the regional military dictatorship that had taken over Baloo family territory upon his leave. His administration was then restored by the people under occupation who reinstated the Bruinwald Monarchy.

[Western Fardelshufflestein]

Alastair IV officially inherited the throne after his father died in April 2020, but he was Prince Regent during Alastair III's final illness. So he effectively ran the country from 2017 until 2020, when he and his wife were officially coronated as co-monarchs.

Queen Marie is where it gets interesting. You see, she was born into a middle-class family, but she fell in love with Alastair after he had returned home from law school. She married for love, of course, but her marriage did come with the benefit of being virtually guaranteed to one day sit on the throne. She always thought she'd end up as consort, but one day Alastair asked her for help because he did not feel he could handle running the nation on his own. He was a very capable leader, but his personal demons were overwhelming him and his health was beginning to deteriorate.

Marie agreed, and they made plans on how they could best rule the country together. Unfortunately, they never made it far past the planning stage. When his father died, Alastair's alcoholism spiraled into the extreme, making him incapacitated by that June. In late July, he passed out due to alcohol poisoning and landed on his head; his condition worsened, and he has been in the hospital since then. (More information about that can be found in my factbooks/dispatches. I'm lowkey writing a serial over there.)

Marie found herself running the country alone, not at all like she had hoped, and with no one to rely upon but herself. She sought out the assistance of her mother-in-law and brother-in-law, and her own parents have been offering her their support, but Marie has effectively been forced to become self-sufficient. She must take care of her three children primarily by herself, as well as Alastair, and be the chief executive of Western Fardelshufflestein in a time of crisis.

Emperor Iskandar II was the son of Emperor Iskandar I who was the son of Emperor Bhartṛhari (who rose to power through a military coup). Thus he is the 3rd ruler of his dynasty named the Swayh Prijanis after their nation.

Prime Minister Bill English lead the National Party to an election win in last year's 2020 General Election.

Our election runs on a representative democracy basis, where each electorate (120 total) votes a member to represent them in Parliament. During this election, Prime Minister English's party lead the seat count, as shown below:

It was complicated. The Supreme Leader ruled Crossoveria partially for 25 years and full time for 4 months now. He got admitted into power in 2021 after a revolution overthrew the Military Dictatorship of Zeeter Saldivar.

Philosocom.com was formed by Tomasio Rubinshtein (me) in the form of a website anyone can join, on the 8th of April 2019. With some former experience in website building and with using the right platform, I created the website with no need of coding skills; only some advices here and there and it was ready to go online in a matter of days. However, throughout the years it was constantly being worked on and have been improved both design-wise and interface-wise.

Being my domain, only a legitimate, approved successor can be the next owner/ruler of Philosocom.

Democratically elected by the will of the people. No electorates, no electoral colleges, none of that bizarre and overly-complicated representative mumbo-jumbo, just good ol' direct democracy straight from the proletarian masses.

James Condea began as a diplomat in the Ministry of State, and quickly moved up the ranks to the Chief Diplomat of the Ministry. After a trick made by the king, he lead a political party, named Restore Untecna, and quit his job. A rebellion occurred, and the new Parliament voted him in as President.

The Queen (Elizabeth II) ascended to power by being the only child of the King.
Prime Minister Ed Davey went into politics because his party got the most votes, sharing in a coalition with Sir Keir Starmer (whose Labour Party got the second-largest number of votes)

Governor Magnus Haraldson was chosen by the People's Assembly in 2016 following coalition negotiations after his party, the Radical Party, won a plurality of seats, and he was reelected in 2020.

In my Monarchs Factbook, this is how it happened

He was adopted into the royal family because the former Queen failed to produce an heir before she died. In his last years, the former King (King Ebbie the 60th) adopted Yoongi Min at the request of the religious leader. Trusting the instincts of his religious leader, King Ebbie the 60th brought Yoongi Min underneath his wing and trained him until it was time for King Ebbie the 61st to ascend.

Marshal Toordög Sükhbalsan was born in inner Mongolia in 1954, as the son of a "settler-soldier", a retiree from the red army given a plot of land to develop for the nation. He volunteered for the Red Army and served in the Armored Corps, attending first the Armored Warfare Academy and then, after having seen combat in the Cambodia Mission in 1971-73 as a regimental commander in the armored artillery. He went on to the General Staff Academy in 1974 on field recomendation by General Rongzhen. After a distinguished carreer in the Red Army he chose to retire in 1984, after 30 years of distinguished service leading from loader to Marshal of the Armored Corps, and instead chose to pursue a career in the Defense Ministry. In 1992 he was finally selected as Minister for National Defense. There he fought for the adoption of modern APCs to the infantry and for better integration of armored and infantry units, using his accumulated influence to push for the development of Armored Infantry. Under his agenda the first IFV of the Red Army was developed, diverting from the normal armored personnel carriers used before and encorporawqting heavier armament and fundamentally altering the combat principle of the RA: from motorized to mechanized or in his parlance "armored" infantry. These successes finally lead up to him gaining control of the leftist faction of the Supreme Soviet in the early 2000s, especially after the big parliamentary battle of army reform toward a professional force: not abandoning the militia roots, not creating dress uniforms or a parade drill, maintaining the election of NCOs by the ranks... Toordög Sükhbalsan fundamentally shaped the not only by having the army hkeep to its proletarian roots but also by integrating public service as the given prerequisite to adulthood. Every citizen, however able or unable, will do 18 months of public service, in any capacity availlable and chosen. 18 months you will be in the service of the Nation and the community, that has become a truly universal fact in daily life over the last 30 years, and this was for a good part the doing of Toordög Sükhbalsan.

In 2015 he was elected to National Leadership by the Supreme Soviet, and even though this position has mostly representative character the chairmans actual powers are considerable. The title "Marshal" always was used in continuation by his colleagues even after his retirement from the Army, and these days when someone speaks of "The Marshal" it is very clear just which one they mean. Marshal Sükhbalsan has publicly stated that he will retire from public office when his re-election period will come around in 2025. He said he would like to move to his mothers homeland in Hunan, "to eat good food and watch my grandchildren play."

First Consul Varmund Thargaarden was popularly elected to his position in 2016
Second Consul Nanurjuk Amaruq was appointed to her seat by King Galbrand after the resignation of her predecessor Aputsiaq Alaappaat in 2017, who subsequently became the Chief Justice.
Third Consul Raginvargen Skalmund was appointed to his post after the death of his predecessor Skogvald Lundermann in a freak hunting accident in 2018 and survived a re-election.

Patrice Asande was the leader of the liberation movement during the not so far away in time colonial period, he came back to power after winning the civil war.
