Symbolism behind YN's flag?

[Absentius]

Purple is the colour of the imperial robes of the Exarchos and Exarchina and was worn first by the Exarchos Valacar 'the Valiant', in his honour it remains to be the most adorned of all colours within the Exarchy.
The Great Golden Two-Headed Blood Eagle was the insignia of the First Exarch of Absentius, Agnar 'the Arch-Angel, during the Battle of the Demon's Dance in which he was martyred and according to legends ascended to heaven with pearled wings and a crown of embers adorning his head, it is said on the darkest day of Absentius, a great roar will signal his arrival and he will lead the Absentine people in a final battle against the forces of evil.

The Mevraqi flag combines two symbols. The skull and crossed swords is, of course, an old pirate symbol. It both recalls our country's origins as a pirate haven and our modern revolutionary spirit. The cog and anchor is the emblem chosen by the Labor Union Alliance, representing the manufacturing and maritime unions that led the 1969 revolution and established the current Mevraqi state. It replaced the hammer and sickle used by the Berkane regime.

The Monteventani flag was designed three years after the country got its independence, in 1834, by Rodrigo Serafine, who later became the 4th democratically elected Doge in the elections of 1857. According to his writings, the Monteventani flag has the following meanings:

Regarding its colours:

• Red: Symbolises charity, power and courage. Red was also one of the colours most commonly associated to the colony of Montevento.
• White: Stands for peace, purity and harmony. In addition, it is the colour of the national flower of Montevento, the Iris fiorentina.
• Green: It is a symbol of prosperity and hope. It also represents the rainforests of Montevento and the influence agriculture had in the country.

Regarding its symbols:

• Fleur de lis: To its left, the Monteventani flag depicts the florentine fleur de lis, also known as the Giglio Fiorentino, with its stamens (the pollen-producing reproductive organ of a flower) showing. As a Tuscan colony, Montevento's history is closely tied to that of Florence, city from where a big part of all the settlers of the colony came from. Originally, the Giglio Fiorentino was also widely used in the colony as one of its symbols, however, it was always depicted without stamens, which were exclusively reserved for usage on symbols in the city of Florence itself. After independence, the stamens were added back, as a symbol of rebellion and independence from its old colonizers, in addition to trying to show that the new republic of Montevento had the ability to grow and prosper, being a fertile country and not sterile like the stamen-less version of the flower.
  
• Cross: It was originally meant to represent Christianity, the state religion of Montevento until the Spallanist reforms of 1925, which marked the secularisation of the country and the beginning of a period of religious suppression that is still present in Monteventani culture. Despite many proposals to remove the cross from the flag, the cross managed to stay, although with a new meaning. Today it is widely accepted that the cross is another reference to Florence, in particular, to the state flag of the Republic of Florence.

[Insaanistan]

The Hilal: The Hilal, or crescent and star, is technically a Turkic symbol. However, it has been widely adopted throughout the Muslim world to the extent it is mistaken as a Symbol of Islam.
Green Triangle and Green Canton: Green is arguably the color of Islam, and can’t be used to represent goodness, good times ahead, purity, nature, and growth.

Red Stripes: The blood of the shaheed (martyrs) who died for Insaanistan or the nations that would soon decide to join Insaanistan, and those who will die for the nation, as well as those killed unjustly in persecution.

White Stripes: White can also be argued to be a color of Islam, representing purity and life.

Shahada: The Arabic inscription on the Middle stripe is the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith. It is what one must say to become a Muslim, and believing it is the first pillar of Islam. It reads “La ilaha ila Allah, Muhammad ar-rasul Allah,” or in English, “There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God.”

Allahu Akbar: “Allahu Akbar” can be found on the canton. Meaning “God is Great”, “Hod is the Greatest”, or “God is Greater [than...]” depending on the context, it is used widely by Muslims across the globe, and to a lesser extent by Arab Christians and Arab Jews.

Shield : The shield represents defending the oppressed around the world, defending the nation, and defending Islam.

The Flower: The flower represents Islam, but it also represents peace and prosperity.

The Book: The Book represents knowledge and the pursuit of knowledge, as well as the Qur’ân (the Muslim Holy Book), both important in the Islamic faith.

The red stripe of Rwizikuru's flag represents the blood shed by Bahians in their struggle against Euclean imperalism and colonisation of the Bahian subcontinent. The two white stars originally represented the member nations of the United Bahian Republic (Rwizikuru and Masari). Following Rwizikuru leaving the United Bahian Republic in 1965 (in the aftermath of two military coups that got rid of the left-wing Rwizikuran government, long story), the two white stars represented Rwizikuru's continued commitment to Pan-Bahianism. However, in recent times, the two white stars can also stand for unity (either of Rwizikuru or of Bahia) and independence (from Euclea).

Basically, this was originally meant for the United Bahian Republic but when that died, Rwizikuru just yoinked the flag and kept using it, because, well, the old flag doesn't look great.

Some in Obets depict that the complete representation is that the Obets United Republic is a free society that is pursuing what it takes to be a great society, henceforth allowing for infinite possibilities. Others say that it depicts how there are infinite ways for the Obets United Republic to be, and yet they choose to pursue what it takes to be a great society.

During the Elysian War, the Aetrian Empire deployed massive Slave Legions against the Elysians. One of these Legions "rebelled" and long story short formed a faction known as the "Liraphim". The war-banners of the Liraphim were usually green in color. It was the Liraphim who settled on Terra and eventually became the "Victorans".
