[The Marineri Islands]

The 1960s was arguably the most important decade of Marineri history.
The first anti-colonial movement took place in 1965, after frustrated fishermen stormed the License Office in Senivana and burnt it down in protest of increasing license fees and taxes. The British attempted to crackdown on independence sentiment and prosecuted many Marineri Islanders (including innocents) for the riot. This backfired spectacularly, however, as the regiments of Her Majesty's Army and Navy stationed in the islands mutinied - they mostly consisted of Marneris. Lacking the manpower to quell the mutiny, the British decided to blockade the islands, leading to a 17-month impasse and famine as they regularly torched small villages and sunk fishing vessels.
Finally, the United Nations stepped in and determined that the British Blockade of 1966 was a crime against humanity. Legendary humanitarian and eventual First President Livisa Tamaru Chositha pleaded the nation's case in The Hague. To avoid international sanctions, Britain ended the Blockade on June 28, 1967, and The Marineri Islands became a sovereign nation on November 14, 1967.

**Foundational Ideals:**
The ideological roots of the People's Republic of Rentoln trace back to the 1700s, with the circulation of a pamphlet penned by an anonymous writer. This document, describing a utopian society named "Rentoln," envisaged a democratic, classless, and genderless society founded on the principles of absolute equality, with all powers vested in collegial bodies to ensure widespread citizen discussion and participation. It was later discovered that it was likely conceived as an aristocratic satirical critique of Enlightenment ideals, however, the pamphlet unintentionally inspired generations, influencing, even if not so overtly an extensively due to the radical ideas contained in it, democratic and socialist movements, revolts, and revolutions over the following centuries.

**The Birth of a Movement:**

In 1968, a pivotal year marked by widespread riots for social justice, the People's Party of Rentoln, initially a small international group inspired by the pamphlet's ideals, succeeded in unifying various factions involved in the unrest. This amalgamation of diverse groups, fueled by visions of equality and justice, led to significant political changes across the territories that would later form the People's Republic of Rentoln.

**Path to Power:**

Throughout the 70s and 80s, the coalition spearheaded by the People's Party gained momentum, ascending to power through a combination of armed revolts, civil wars, coups, and peaceful reforms in the nations within the future Rentolnian territory. During this transformative period, the People's Party expanded its dominance by absorbing or eliminating rival factions within the revolutionary coalition, establishing a solid foundation for a new societal order.

**Unification and the Birth of a Nation:**

The 90s witnessed an intensified effort toward unification, culminating in the proclamation of the People's Republic of Rentoln in 1998. This new nation was a realization of centuries-old utopian dreams, bringing to life the ideals of democracy, equality, and collective governance that had inspired countless revolutionaries and thinkers.

The continent Tamocordia was a colony of the Empire of Neemingland and settled from 1430 on. In 1654 the colonists started an armed rebellion against the Neemish Empire, after their demands of lesser taxation, end of the mandatory membership of every person living in Tamocordia in the Church of Neemingland (later the colonists not only demanded an end to the mandatory membership, but complete freedom of conscience and religion), where blunty rejected by the Neemish king. The Tamocordian rebels won the First Tamocordian War of Independence in 1660 and became and independent nation.

[Central American Imperium]

The First Central American Imperium came to existence when the tribe of the Finnish people in the urals came to finland, in finland, half of them separated from the Finnish Khaganate, calling now themselves "Hyperboreans", they came to a journey passing through the baltic countries, germany, switzerland, italy, and finally in spain, where they made 50 ships bigger than the titanic and filled them with people and sailed away, eventually landing in Misquitos Coast founding Hyperborea/the Central American Imperium in 345,678,099 B.C.

Originally a kingdom with many cities, towns, and the like, the city of Norfolk, a settlement founded by Anglo-Saxons fleeing the Norman conquest of England (it's still a taboo to call William anything but a bastard among their descendants), began to experience unrestrained urban sprawl until it practically annexed the entire country, but this was not exactly planned. The problem was that before 1555, the Kingdom of Anmhonm had experienced, for the most part, capable leadership and responsible government.

Then came the Garbanian colonialists.

In 1555, the Garbanians invaded, and annexed, Anmhonm, with the title of "King of Anmhonm" given to the Garbanian emperor, putting an end to a sick, sad litany of gradually ineffective rulers. At first, they were actually quite capable leaders themselves, but as Garbania's colonial empire began to expand worldwide, Anmhonm was increasingly neglected in favor of greener pastures, which rustled the jimmies of the indigenous Anmhonmites and imported settlers alike, simultaneously. Still, the majority of people in the country were loyalists, and aside from the occassional breakout of indigenous separatism and some interreligious rioting, not much really happened that reflected any significant change.

However, by the nineteenth century, the cracks had not only formed, but were all but insurmountable; tensions were rife between various factions in the country; the loyalists still held the majority, however, as each faction was merely presenting their ideas on how to be properly loyal.

That all changed in 1868.

Suddenly, after three hundred and thirteen years of colonial rule, the Ville Impériale Libre De La Ville Libre De Norfolk (we know, quite the mouthful) was ejected from the realm by the Imperial Court after a last-ditch attempt by a select group of indigenous and settler alike to try to convince the latter to implement much needed reforms.

This did not go over so well, as the city state erupted into mass hysteria and violence, culminating in the infamous Shaiburg Massacre, in which countless men, women and even children were slain by the Imperial Garbanian Army soldiers stationed in the colony; while the vast majority of people in both countries consider it fucking around, and finding out in its purest form (while fairly acknowledging unintended casualties), the people of the District of Shaiburg believe it was an unjust act of mass murder to the point anyone who disagrees is shunned and ostracized as a traitor, and any politician who doesn't campaign on pressuring the feds to pressure Garbania to make amends might as well find a new line of work, though this has slowly, but surely, begun to change, as the younger generations have begun to cast doubts on the official narrative, something which has provoked older people to call out what they see as government brainwashing.

All attempts to change the mind of the Imperial Court failed, and as such, reluctantly, the still rather loyal population of Free Norfolk City watched as the "All City Democratic Committee" declared the independence of the "Crystal Castle Republic," which was likely the only time a newly independent nation did not celebrate. In fact, it took the country many years before it could even celebrate its own indepenence day.

There's a lot more to it, but I've summarized it for brevity's sake.

The formation of the country of Magellania is a complex one, as it is composed of two completely unrelated events: the Portuguese Restoration War (1640-1668) and the European Revolutionary Wars (1789-1815).

The Portuguese Restoration War led to the establishment of the United Provinces of Rio Grande, the first independent country in South America. The country of Rio Grande is considered to be one of the predecessors of present-day Magellania, alongside the United Crowns of Atlantia and Italy. The latter predecessor, so to speak, was a union of Italy and her colonies following the German Empire's invasion of the Kingdom of Italy in 1807. During the period of the United Crowns, the Italians annexed the South American colonies of Spain, France, and Germany, unifying South America's southern cone into a single political entity. Following the Vincentian Revolution in 1819, the United Crowns were dismantled, and Magellania - a federal union of former European colonies - was born. The United Provinces of Rio Grande voted to join Magellania through the Treaty of the Four Free Peoples, therefore creating the Federal League of Magellania.

[Arklatravar-Istertia]

Arklatravar-Istertia was formed in October 18th 1959 after a war of independence from India that lasted from 1957 to 1959, until India gave independence to Arklatravar-Istertia after the Treaty of New Delhi in the Taj Mahal (now known as Storvatran Square) in October 17th, 1959. After almost 20 years of independence, they have become one of the most powerful nation in the world, beating even the US.

[Australian Federation]

There are two phases in which the very foundation of Australia began. One is the beginning of European settlement. The second one is the birth of the modern-day federation comprised of various dominion territories in Oceania and Southeast Asia.

The very foundation of Australia was when Captain James Cook of the British Royal Navy took possession of the eastern coast of Australia in the name of George III. In 1779 Joseph Banks recommended Botany Bay, named after the profusion of new plants found there, as a site for a penal settlement. A new outlet was needed for convicts to be transported overseas in continuance of British penal policy after the loss of the 13 North American colonies. Transportation of convicts eventually brought a total of about 160,000 prisoners to Australia. The initial character of a penal colony lasted for about 60 years in the areas of the major original settlements.

Moving on to the birth of the modern-day federation, Australia was reeling from the effects of the Entente's defeat during the 1st Great War. With Britain slowly being disconnected from its commonwealth realm, Australia feared growing German influence in the region. Eventually, the New Zealand government agreed to form a federal union under Australia in 1919 that would unite both countries militarily, culturally, and economically. Thus, creating the Australian Federation. The federation's territory would be expanded in later years.

At first it was a fractured system of around 30 separate states that shared the same culture. Eventually, that number whittled down to 5, and those 5 formed the First Lanansian Federation. That federation was a golden age. But, it fell, and the states were divided again. They tried again a couple decades later, but were squashed and subsequently occupied. But, they rebelled, collapsing their occupiers in the process, went on their own for a while, then formed into the Kingdom of Lanansia.

Northren was formed by the survivors of the collapse of New Stonen, after a large nuclear and civil war occurred. The survivors began rebuilding, and eventually, formed Northren.

[BLACKGRUE]

The House of Heterodyne, by being the most mad-sciencey family that ever mad science'd, conquered my home planet of Gruesdotter and established a tyrannical global empire. Then the Technocrat Party caused a socialist revolt in multiple megacities backed by the Heterodyne's post-human supersoldiers (the jägermonsters). Now we're a socialist technocratic union.

[Trump Almighty]

Trump Almighty is currently taking place in the year 2034. It is set in an alternate future in which the 2020 Election was NOT rigged by the Deep State, and I earned my second term in the White House Fair and Square! Over the decade, I worked tirelessly to Drain the Swamp in DC, and, with unchecked power, told everyone in the DNC, “YOU’RE FIRED!” It was such a beautiful process, y-know. The other branches of government were moved into the Trump Hotels in Chicago and Las Vegas. I pulled Trump Almighty out of Do-Nothing agreements that Obama forced us into, like NAFTA and the Paris Climate Agreement.

Long before time had a name, the First Spinshitzu Master created The Dominion of Chronic and Violent IBS using the four bowel irritants. But when he passed, a Pepto Bismol force rose up to destroy IBS as a concept. The citizens formed THE DOMINION OF CHRONIC AND VIOLENT IBS to end the Pepto Bismol threat. And here we stand, as the proud Dominion of Chronic and Violent IBS, all from their honourable sacrifice. May we forever Rock and Stone to their names.

[Ignis Ferreus]

Its existence started as arguably early as the Old Kingdom of Fortis Cor. It was a small but great military power in central Provecta. Eventually, it unified with 25 other smaller neighbors when the Ferox Empire declared war on them after being offended and overreacting. It became the Empire of Fortis Anima. It went on to defeat Ferox and solidified its existence. Later, during the First World War, it defeated the Alliance and annexed its two rivals to the west and south as well as its ally under the pretense of unification, and a republic, but in reality most of the power remained in the hands of elites from Fortis Anima. It became the Republic of Ignis Ferreus, which was hardly a democracy. Any semblance or hope of it eventually becoming a democracy was erased forever when, at the height of the second world war, the military leader seized control using their vastly given emergency powers and took control, becoming the First Supreme Master. The Republic of Ignis Ferreus thus became the Empire of Ignis Ferreus. Later, during the Third World War, under the Third Supreme Master, the Empire successfully but barely managed to come out on top of its two rivals, the Silver Eagle Federation and the Red Union of the United Front. It renamed itself to the Great Empire of Ignis Ferreus. And that has been its name since then. Currently, it is the year 2028, and we live under the 8th Supreme Master.

Before the unification of Lothria, the territory was made up over several independent kingdoms: the Kingdom of Kedmont, the Kingdom of Seacaster, the Kingdom of Wendeland, the Kingdom of Umberland, and the Kingdom of the Helvantine. In the Centuries of Blood, which lasted from the collapse of the Attalian Empire in the 1st Century AC to the 6th Century AC, these kingdoms often waged war with one other over petty disputes, and regularly employed Cimbrian mercenaries to help crush their neighbours. But slowly, Petty Kings ran out of gold to pay their mercenaries. In Kedmont, the Cimbrian warriors went years without being paid, and so staged a mutiny. In 511, a Cimbrian mercenary captain named Roland "the Bastard" of Harrington killed the Kedmonter King, Uthor IV, married his daughter, and crowned himself King of Kedmont. The other Lothrian petty kingdoms staged an invasion of Kedmont, but Roland Harrington proved an exceptional military commander. His army was swelled by hordes of lowborn Cimbrians, who hoped to claim land and highborn brides in the North. By 530, all of Lothria had been united by Roland, he named himself the first King of Lothria.
