Season 1
Episode 1 - The Moscow is speaking... Sorry, the Grodno is speaking...
Written By: Daniil Chernov
As the Soviet Union begins to crumble, Waisnorian television will break off from Central Television monopoly and establish their own TV service, Waisnorian Television, with programming moving country closer to their goal of independence.
Episode 2 - We're free! Now what?
Written By: Stanislav Milka
With Waisnor getting their independence, Waisnorian Television now needs to build a system of news and entertainment for the new country, along with covering the most important events of early 90's, such as first elections, adoption of Constitution and Bread Riots of '94.
Episode 3 - You get a channel! And you get a channel!
Written By: Daniil Chernov
National television was established, but what about cities who want their own television? They had to take matters in their own hands, with their often very bad conditions, bootleg movie translations and Twin Peaks obsession.
Episode 4 - End of one is beginning of another
Written By: Stanislav Milka
As the new millenium was getting closer, problems at Waisnorian Television started showing. It was decided that something else would replace them in 2000 - Waisnorian Broadcasting Corporation. Here's what led to this transition and first steps of new national broadcaster...
Episode 5 - The contender has appeared...
Written By: Daniil Chernov
In Russia, troubles would befall NTV. And so, two journalists from this channel emigrated to Waisnor and stumbled upon plans of launching the first fully private channel. As they lead them, they were happy to continue working under NTV name. But their Russian side had their questions about the name...
Episode 6 - Así es la vida, mi amor
Written By: Stanislav Milka
No one really expected "Simplemente María" and "Muñeca Brava" to explode during their broadcast on First National, but when that happened, everyone wanted their slice of telenovela cake. Soon enough, Waisnorian studios made their own telenovelas, but they would get slightly over the line...
Episode 7 - And all goes downhill from there
Written By: Daniil Chernov
As the Waisnorian sentiments grow more cynical in the early 2000's, and so, does the television. And "Riot 00's" truly began their reign on television on the last day of 2003, with one provocative group preparing a double whammy of Iraq War statement performance and... man on man kiss?
Episode 8 - A little refuge for the fellow kids
Written By: Stanislav Milka
While the "grown-up" television was going through their "Riot 00's", a channelby the name of Jetix began their transmissions in Waisnor thanks to incerceptions of Russian broadcasts. And now Waisnorian children had some entertainment to watch, as some interesting animted and live-action progamming made their way to Waisnor, alongside some of the first anime on Waisnorian TV.
Episode 9 - The day of sorrow
Written By: Daniil Chernov
On June 26th, 2005, fascist organization "Union of Saviors of the Country" began they coup d'êtat attempt, which would stay down in history of Waisnor as "Black Sunday". And even though their attempted were thwarted, it still left more than 170 people killed. But still, Waisnorian TV channels still needed to cover that in feal time, even if their lives were at stake...
Episode 10 - Everything goes now, it seems
Written By: Stanislav Milka
The "Riot 00's" were also apparent in music, and thankfully now music fans had their own channel - Music.tv, which was primed to have some success. They couldn't have pick a better time to start their transmissions, as the short but bright "shock-pop" era sprung it in Waisnorian music scene, during which, absolutely nothing was sacred...
Episode 11 - The craziness is scaled back
Written By: Daniil Chernov
As the "Riot 00's" were slowly coming to an end, the television also got a lot more normal - when the shock-pop era ended with a bang and normal pop music once again took hold over the music scene and telenovelas became so over-the-top that their days on Waisnorian television were numbered. Also, the big American series began showing up in big quantities and Waisnorian series also began gaining their footing.
Episode 12 - The channels for a new generation
Written By: Stanislav Milka
Two factors - victory of "Long and Confusing Game" at Oscars in 2006 and coming of age of first Waisnor-born generation - served as catalysts of launch of two new channels - Second Cinema Channel and T4. The thing is this channels were now directed at young audiences, with T4 bringing brand new shows to the Waisnorian television, mainly sci-fi.
Episode 13 - The first series of the Golden Age
Written By: Daniil Chernov
In 2009, the brand new series - "The Great Leader and Teacher" - would premiere. With the outstanding quality, complex plots and fleshed-out characters, this series became first truly great Waisnorian series, but without their share of controversies. NTV needed to answer, and their series ("Brief Guide To a Happy Life") got more down to earth, along with some revolutions in camera work...
Episode 13 - "... Now thrill me."
Written By: Stanislav Milka
On 23rd of April, 2011, "Generator Rex" premiered on Second Cinema Channel. And from that point on Waisnor was never the same with this day also being considered as start of "Fun 2010's" - epoch, going strong to this day. There is just one thing - just how this Cartoon Network series was able to have duch a drastic impact on Waisnorian culture?
Episode 14 - Mini series, big ambitions
Written By: Daniil Chernov
2013 turned out to be a year of miniseries on two biggest networks. One about a Waisnorian national hero, other about heroes of classic Russian novel. One is a trendsetter in it's field, other is an answer to this trendsetter along with some interesting casting. One is "Kalinovsky" on First National, other is "Fathers and Sons" on NTV.

  • Summary of Show (up to 250 words) below;
Successful film scriptwriter, Charlotte Bellingham lives a life of luxury, with her fiance Peter, in a penthouse in one of the economic centres of Britonisea; Telm. From the outside, Charlotte seems happy - she has the perfect man, the perfect job, the perfect home... yet somehow she's not quite satisfied. Charlotte, as a scriptwriter, loves a good story and finds the lives of others entertaining - nothing but stimuli for her next big plotline. Though sometimes it can be hard to not cross the line between curiosity and intrusiveness as she delves deeper into the lives of those who she is overly curious of. The hardship Charlotte faced as a youngster reveals a dark and sordid side of human nature which try as one might, will always - when the moment is right - reveal itself even when you believe that side of you is so hidden, there's nothing left of it.

Season 1
Pilot Episode
Directed By: James Donavan
Written By: Luke Shaw, Sophie Vaughan
Running Time: 10 minutes
Charlotte casts her eyes on the glassy skyscrapers that add volume to Telm’s otherwise boring landscape. Charlotte was a modest girl but she certainly worked hard for everything that she currently has - it’s a privilege being able to look at the city you once loathed 150 metres in the air from your roof-top garden. A successful film scriptwriter and director. Always in demand but could sometimes take advantage of staying at home. The perfect apartment, the perfect job, the perfect life, and soon-to-be a wife. Peter, her gorgeous husband, proposed to her two years ago and it is only a month until they are finally married. What more could you want from a man? Peter’s the perfect package; chivalrous, suave and he’s certainly one to make other ladies (and gentlemen) jealous they don’t have him in their arms. Peter works as a banker in one of the nation’s top companies, and he's the best at his job. Everything’s perfect...for now...
Episode 1: I Know You Want Me
Directed By: James Donavan, Troy Boyst-Keale
Written By: Luke Shaw, Sophie Vaughan
Every day Charlotte headed out on her morning runs, alone and without Peter. She hated the gym but knew that she had to keep fit. She would leave her apartment at almost the same time every day, 06:30 every morning. Arebry was an impeccably safe neighbourhood - you would expect that from an area where houses which cost more than a million britos were the norm. She knew the risks about going out especially during winter by herself but she didn’t mind. Charlotte was curious about how other people lived their lives and as she ran she would look at all the different houses, especially the ones with big windows acting as televisions into the lives of others. One could say she liked the excitement of it all. She liked the drama. She’s a writer after all.

She would come back with a baguette in hand, fresh from the bakery across the road - the smell of pastries gently wafting into the lobby of the apartment. Luke, the receptionist would always have her mail and flyers ready to hand over to her when she went upstairs. Charlotte doesn’t pay Luke much attention, barely giving him any eye contact as she snatches the pack away from him before proceeding upstairs. Luke was used to this behaviour, he had received much worse from where he was from. Hickley Bush. Full of vibrant characters to say the least. Telm is sometimes known internationally for being a bit…edgier…than its rival Doportedas - and its Hickey Bush that representation comes from. Luke had to put on the perfect face when he came to Arebry. He couldn’t let anyone know who the real him was. Throughout the episode, we are introduced to the life Charlotte lives outside of the house. Fancy dinners, keeping up appearances on family shopping trips with the inlaws. She seemed happy though she wasn’t fully content with her life.

As the episode continues, we can see that Luke has some sort of interest in Charlotte, to the point where Luke notices that Charlotte brings a mysterious man into her apartment. He goes into the elevator up to Charlotte’s floor before walking around. As he walks around, he looks at her heirlooms and possessions, pictures of her and her husband - Peter. He notices, no children around, it’s just those too. He noticed that Charlotte had a collection of wigs in the apartment too in one room - a makeup room though didn’t pay that much notice to it. Perhaps she liked fashion? As he moves further through the apartment he notices sounds coming from the bedroom - with the door slightly open. He moves slowly towards the door before taking a peek to find Charlotte cheating on her husband with this mysterious man. Luke, at first, looked away in disgust though as the sounds grew louder - so did his curiosity. He took another peek, which turned into a stare. When some sort of climax was reached, Luke rushed out of the apartment, with Charlotte laying down to the side of the bed - she looked up towards the door before giving off a chuckle, leaving it up to interpretation what she had noticed.

Episode 2: I Know Who You Are
Directed By: Grace Heartley
Written By: Luke Shaw, Sophie Vaughan
Running Time: 57 minutes
The next episode begins with this mysterious man leaving Charlotte’s apartment, much to Luke’s interest. Coincidentally, Luke had finished his shift and so decided to follow the mystery man out of the building and down a couple of blocks where he entered a large hall, much grander than any that he’s been to before. He became sidetracked by a huge poster that he saw on the wall which was about an upcoming dance ball - a masquerade. He remembered a smaller version of this poster, which came as a flyer, given to Charlotte only a couple of days before. He took a picture of the flyer before somebody who worked at the hall stopped him to ask about the masquerade. He explains that the masquerade was run by a Liam Cowell at his annual masquerades for his company. Luke noticed Liam was the mystery man who left Charlotte’s apartment earlier.

The episode continues following Luke’s life and he makes his way back to his hometown. He lived with his family, with his younger siblings running circles around him and his father who would speak a mixture of Accean, a recognised regional language from Scotatrova, where his family background is from and English to him. His father would constantly smoke and drink, asking him for the rent - Luke keeps having to bring up that he already gave his instalment much to his father's dislike. While Luke himself was a strong looking man, his father was even bigger and the amount of emotional trauma that Luke had had from him - it made him feel much smaller and much more weak than he actually is. Luke looks around for a suit for the upcoming masquerade which he intends on going to. Sporting a black eye from his father. Through the window he sees a mask which he thought would be perfect for him to wear, touching his face thinking that it would perfectly cover his face and the scars he has from his day to day life.

We switch to the nighttime with Luke wearing the full outfit and mask. He walked up to the hall before looking up and taking in a big deep breath. He knew that he was on a mission to find out more about this Luke figure and most definitely Charlotte. His curiosity for this woman was growing by the minute and as Luke walked into the hall he was greeted by hundreds of people dancing to music and interacting with one another. He slowly walked the aisles - he was almost overwhelmed with everything. He wandered over to the bar to get a drink where a beautiful woman also in a mask appeared next to him. As she started to speak, he recognised her voice - it’s Charlotte. He knew that Charlotte probably didn’t recognise him and so decided to speak in an even deeper, more masculine tone. The two of them exchanged flirtatious banter - for the first time Luke actually felt wanted, desired. The pair of them took to the dance floor. Initially Luke was nervous about having a dance but Charlotte whispered in his ear to follow his lead; the pair engaged in a dance to the theme track of the programme before sharing an intimate kiss with one another.

Episode 3: I Know What You Did
Directed By: Davide Sandea
Written By: Luke Shaw, Sophie Vaughan
Running Time: 58 minutes
From this encounter, Charlotte gains an interest in receptionist Luke and one time he leaves, she follows Luke’s car back to his home neighbourhood - Hickley Bush where she is reminded of her former life. She wanders the streets of Hickley Bush, passing her now defunct school. She starts to wonder about the abandoned building, crossing over a classroom. Supposedly a flashback of her in secondary school is shown in which her connection with Luke is shown - they knew each other in the past and were in fact standing next to each other in an old yearbook that she found in a cabinet. Charlotte looks through the yearbook, stroking the picture of her and what one could assume was Luke standing together before she hears someone enter the classroom behind her. The tall and ominous figure of Luke stands there looking at Charlotte with a blank expression. Charlotte isn’t afraid, in fact this is exactly the sort of thing that hypes her up. She puts the yearbook back into the cabinet before the pair speak to each other before engaging in intercourse - reminding Charlotte of her first time, indeed with Luke. But as she and Luke got close, she started to remember her first time being horrible, something that she had purposefully blocked out of her memory of sexual assault when she was younger. Charlotte ran out of the classroom shouting accusations of abuse. Charlotte ran down the dark halls of the abandoned school with Luke running after her. Luke’s cries were muffled to the viewer and indeed Charlotte as she tried to get to safety.

As Luke chases after her, he grabs a rounders bat from a classroom before chasing her down the stairs, banging the metallic bat on the stairs in order to frighten Charlotte. Though, it all gets too much for her as she trips down the stairs knocking her unconscious. Luke stops and stares at her body from higher ground before going the opposite way, exciting the building but leaving Charlotte for dead. Charlotte could be seen flinching as we focus on the fleeing Luke running down the streets. A police car seemed to be chasing him as he ran, though when he went down a dark alleyway, he noticed that the police cars weren’t for him - it was the paranoia that was eating him alive. Luke managed to make his way back to his house before taking a shower. We watch Luke as he strips and enters the shower, sobbing as he’s alone with his thoughts - one of his young siblings, Jairo, listening to his older brother’s cries from inside the bedroom. Luke couldn’t remember what Charlotte remembered, but he spent all night thinking about it - spent all night thinking about how he followed her into that school… how he chased her down in that school and left her for dead. He had to do something about it and so set out to go and find Charlotte and so went down into the basement to start his father’s car. As he was making some noise, his brother Jairo was curious and decided to go downstairs to the basement. He noticed that Luke wasn’t about, though he did hear some rustling as Luke made his way closer to the basement. Out of fear of being caught, Jairo jumped into the back seat of the car with Luke putting in a huge black bag and shovel in his boot, closing the trunk and starting the engine.

Episode 4: I Know The Truth
Directed By: Miguel Salcedo
Written By: Luke Shaw, Sophie Vaughan
Running Time: 59 minutes
Throughout the journey, Jairo kept quiet - it wasn’t a long journey to the abandoned school and within minutes, Luke made his way out of the car and walked off with his shovel and large bag, sporting a pair of dark gloves on him. Jairo wondered where he was going, and so once the coast was clear. Jairo followed his brother into the house. A montage followed the movements of the boys, alongside a female hand wearing science-department gloves. This hand put down a mobile phone before grabbing hold of the rounders bat Luke had held earlier on, smashing the mobile phone and putting the pieces of it in her pocket. Luke reached the staircase to find that Charlotte was no longer there. Luke heard something so quickly turned around, though Charlotte had gained sighting on Jairo , wacking him around the head with the bat causing Jairo to scream in pain. Luke noticed that scream as his brother’s and started running through the school before running into the main gymnasium where a circle was drawn on the floor, candles lit around Jairo’s body. Luke sees his young brother on the floor, dropping the spade and bag before running to him before being stopped by the bloodied Charlotte. Charlotte and Luke have discourse with one another with Luke explaining that she’s deluded and none of what she says happened and wondered why Charlotte had this obsession with him, why he followed her to his part of town.

With Luke not getting any answers he wanted, he went to pick up his spade but Charlotte charged with him with the bat. With Luke being able to fight her off, Charlotte walked up to Jairo before beating him savagely with the bat. As Luke screamed in agony, he went to run towards Charlotte to be stopped by the sound of police sirens. Luke quickly rushed outside to get the attention of the police, though as they approached him they forced him to the ground. The police went around him to the gymnasium to notice the badly battered boy in the gymnasium. Jairo was pronounced dead as the police assumed Luke was guilty of the murder of his brother as the bloodied bat (with Luke’s fingerprints) were on the bat. Charlotte was nowhere to be seen. As Jairo protested Charlotte, the woman who works in his block, is guilty no one seemed to listen to his side of the story.

Another montage of Luke’s family reacting to the situation was shown, and Charlotte - now seemingly wearing a new wig and looking completely different watching Luke being carted from the courts to the prison. The show ends with two poignant scenes. Luke was sitting in a cold darkish room with a table in front of him. A lawyer, the first time that we had seen him in the programme came into the room and said to Luke that he would help him get him out and when Luke asked where this lawyer came from, he said that Luke’s mother (who we hadn’t been introduced to) sent him. Meanwhile, the final scene was of a new Charlotte walking into her apartment’s lobby. She stops and stares at the new employee.Young, male, tall - Charlotte smiled at the camera before being whisked away by her partner who puts his arm around her waist and pulls her out of shot.

TO BE CONTINUED appears on the screen.

Season 1
Episode 1
Written By: Kiane Montenguard
In the days of tribes and villages, a wolf cub wakes up in the heart of a crater in a meadow of all kinds of flowers. He opens his, eyes seeing the clouds roll by and feeling the wind rush through his fur. Though he is weak, he tries to stand up, shaking as he takes his first few steps, getting stronger with each stride. The meadow is vast, the golden grasses like a sea into the horizon. It is surrounded by a thick wall of forest, which leads on to titanic mountains in the distance. Despite the comfort and quiet of his surroundings, the wolf cannot remember his past, looking out into the distance to find a semblance of familiarity. However, he is still weak, stumbling over and rolling in the grass, laughing and wagging his tale as he starts to explore his surroundings. He leaps around the tall grasses and sniffs all the flowers around him. Eventually he comes across small lake, seeing his reflection in the clear pool. Shocked, he looks back and studies his face intensely, noticing his three tails behind him. Behind his reflection, a person appears upon a cloud, scaring him. He turns around to see them.

The beautiful person has golden skin and wears robes that sparkle in the dappled sunlight, their eyes constantly closed. They introduce themself as Solaria, a god, and tells the wolf that he is Alarhys, another god. However, they say that he has been reduced to banishment from the moon and confinement upon the earth for becoming too greedy and hateful. Though he begins to protest, barking weakly and pouncing at them, Solaria simply ignores him. Before they part, Solaria says that Alarhys has hints of power remaining in him; though it is his choice whether it will be used for good or not. Solaria departs into thin air, disintegrating into the wind as Alarhys chases after them, barking and yapping. Left alone with him and his reflection, he tries to muster his powers, though he only produces weak sparkles. Solemnly looking into his reflection, he realises who he is, angry that him, a god, has been punished so harshly. He sleeps by the lake, under the watchful eye of the argent moon.

He chooses to travel west into the forests, though he struggles to hunt for food and find shelter. After days of walking through vast mountains and pastures of gold, he begins to grow extremely weary, eventually collapsing in a glistening grove.

However, once he awakes, he sees three kids staring directly at him. Once they realise they can see him, their eyes widen and scramble behind a tree. Alarhys attempts to roar at them, producing a yap instead, causing the children to burst into laughter, calling the wolf cub cute. Angry at such disrespect however, Alarhys begins to growl, the flowers beneath his feet beginning to wilt, his eyes beginning to glow a luminous blue. As the wind begins to violently lash from behind his back, the kids run off screaming, haphazardly stumbling over branches and rocks. Alarhys calms down, tired and begins to forage for food and water.

However, once he returns to the grove, he hears the same kids beckoning others to follow as they saw something, followed by a cacophony of footsteps. At first, he thinks to run off, though concocts a plan to take advantage of the people. As the villagers come across the grove, seeing nothing, they begin to scorn the now-confused kids, accusing them of lying. However, as they begin to leave, Alarhys appears before them, his thee tails held aloft. As one of the kids shouts at the fleeing villagers to look, the people turn and gasp at the sight, not knowing whether to run or hide. However, when the blind wise woman begins to emerge from the crowd, loudly singing chants, she instructs the villagers that Alarhys is a mythical deity of three tails that must be praised. She bows towards him, the other villagers following suit, laying down beads and any spare gifts they have with them. In response, Alarhys leaps around the crater, and begins to form flowers and golden nuggets beneath each step, prompting the villagers to praise him even more. He eventually runs off holding bags of gifts, much to the dismay of the villagers. Nestling in a cave, he settles his belongings down and begins to fall asleep, wondering whether this life would be so bad after all. Perhaps, if he was nice enough to the villagers, the gods would free him.

He wakes up to beautiful sunbeams dappled through the treetops. As he returns to the grove however, he sees a small wooden shrine had been erected for him. Seeing that his plan had seemingly worked, he walks around the shrine, inspecting it. He is spotted by a mother and her baby, and they come up to Alarhys and bow. She excitedly thanks him for his arrival, telling him his presence has lifted the spirit of the village. Laying down a necklace for him, she returns to the village. He grows stronger as the village feeds him regularly, though he remains selfish.

Over the next few weeks, he spends his days receiving gifts and fulfilling blessings, washing the fields with fertility, the weather with sun and blessing the new-borns. He also looks after the nature surrounding him. Working diligently, he takes advantage of the villager's kindness, becoming greedy. He wonders when the gods will free him, believing the only reason to do good was for status. As winter arrives, he grows irritated at how much the villagers begged him for blessings, for the fields, food and good health. However, as winter grows harsher and harsher, he finds less people come out to the shrine, growing lonely. He adventures into the mountain, looking down upon the village as he nears the top. The village, of wooden huts with thatched roofs, is quiet, the snow beginning to fall down, snowflakes waltzing with the soft breeze. As he treks down the mountain, he comes across a crying child, skin white from the cold, surrounded by wolves. As he begins to snarl at the pack, his eyes light up and the snow begins to melt around him, scaring the wolves. They engage in a fight, Alarhys beginning to bleed as he endues scratch after bite. Picking up the child with his mouth and onto his back, he turns to run, making eye contact with one of the wolves, before running down the mountain, chased by the pack until he is far beyond them. Dropping the child at the village, he collapses, his last sights of villagers leaving their houses, worried.

He awakes at the wise woman's hut in the far corner of the villager, wrapped in bandages. His eyes open, though he is too weak to move. The woman begins to tell him the story of the village, of how it was formed from the anger of a deity who lashed the land with lava and flames. Though the gods never returned to the village again, from the ashes grew nourished land and forest. She notes Alarhys is the first god to return in thousands of years. He soon realises the story was about him, and begins to feel guilty, before drifting back to sleep.

He next wakes back at the shrine, covered in snow. He is hit by a snowball however, a child hidden behind a tree. Though he is angry at first, he soon realises it was the child he saved. The child cautiously steps out and thanks him before hiding again, peering out to see his reaction. Alarhys begins to wag his three tails and flicks snow towards the child with his paw, causing him to laugh. The two play in the snow, throwing snow and making snowmen together, laughing until a few more kids turn up. They take turns riding on his back and the like, playing until the moon appears in the sky.

Near the end of winter, the wolf he had seen before shows up. Though Alarhys begins to growl at her, the wolf bows down, dropping a carcass at his feet. He eats the carcass cautiously, eyeing her as he does. He inspects her intensely, sniffing her. However, she retaliates, and the two begin to fight. However, their fighting turns to play as they roll over one another, their tails wagging as the they play under the cherry blossoms. The two eventually fall in love that spring, hunting together and playing. As a result however, he spends less time helping the village, leading to some of the villagers grown disdainful towards him, though he doesn't seem to notice or care. Throughout spring, they spend their time together, eventually giving birth to cubs at the time when cherry blossom petals fall. A happy family, raising the cubs in the light of spring, playing and prancing in pastures of all the colours of the rainbow. Unfortunately, his youngest and weakest child succumbs to illness and passes away on one rainy afternoon, growing absent from his duties at his shrine.

As summer arrives, he returns to his shrine, seeing it slightly overgrown. Feeling betrayed by the villagers for not looking after his shrine and disrespecting him, he goes to the village to assert himself. However, once he arrives, the village appears better than ever, bustling with people and life. The houses seem far more advanced and everyone seems to have a smile upon their face. He begins to grow dizzy with anger and jealousy when he sees the crowd part for a man dressed gold, smiling and waving. he approaches closer, hearing the crowds begin to praise his name; 'Oriah'. As the crowd throws gold in his path, he begins to address everyone, he says that he is the true god incarnate. Infuriated that his people betrayed him to idol a false god, he erupts into a volcanic rage, shocking the crowd as his powers emerge in a violent swing of flames. Though the people turn to the false idol to defend them, he soon runs away cowardly as Alarhyl begins to hunt him down, though he is too engulfed in his anger, jealousy and sadness to think. As the village begins to burn as fires spread, the villagers scream and panic. Some attempt to fight Alarhys, though he knocks them back with ease, growing into an otherworldly demon of sorts, his eyes alight with fire and his fur raised. He chases people down, angrily knocking down people and buildings, the fire beginning to spread past the village into the forests. Growing tired, he looks at the chaos around him, at all the dead he had caused. Growing to his senses, he begins to run, run far from here, leaving the village in ruins. Leaving his life and cubs behind, not knowing whether they too died in the fire.

He just runs.

The landscapes just blur past him, forests and mountains and fields and seas lashing by in an instant. He doesn't know where he heads, but anywhere away from his life behind. Growing tired, he slows and slows until he ends on the edges of land, on a headland surrounded by the vast seas. He collapses upon the cliffs, too tired to take another step. Guilty, lost and alone he sleeps.

He wakes up, still on earth, and decides to find his family again. However, as he begins to walk, he realises the landscape has changed. Disorientated, he wonders how long it has been since he was last awake. He then thinks of his family, older or worse, dead, left behind by time itself. He shakes off the thought, beginning his adventure back to his family; his home. His adventure is halted due to the appearance of construction sites however, with dozens of men carrying bamboo scaffolding and laying cement down where forests once stretched for miles. Not quite understanding the situation, he becoms distraught, worrying that perhaps hundreds of years had passed. As he continues further in the world, he passes by newly built towns and houses, far different from the farming villages he had seen earlier. Then, he is spotted by a family, who cower in fear. Once Alarhys turns towards them, they scream and shout, the mother protecting her children valiantly. Though he grows angry, he leaves, drooping his tails behind him. Was he no longer revered? What had changed? And for once in his life, he resents his status and his long life. For once he wishes he could die like the rest of them. As his self-pity turns to anger, he becomes vicious and violent, his sadness turning to fear, subsequently turning to hatred.

He journeys for years and years, watching the forests shrink and the world change around him, searching desperately for his family, or something to hold on to. Often, people were cowering in fear in his wake. Part of him enjoyed the fear he inflicted; another despised it. On multiple occasions, he flees hunters armed with technology far beyond him, resorting to violence when the time calls. He preys on small animals, though they become few and far between as life goes on. Once a beast who could walk wherever he pleased, now relegated the small forests in between towns and factories.

One night, he rests in a forest, as peaceful as the night itself, he dreams of an endless meadow, leaping between grasses and flowers. He dreams of being back on the moon as a god, living in pure joy, free from sadness, of life, of death. He last dreams of his family, reunited. The dream turns into a vivid nightmare however, woken up by a loud noise. He sees the trees being felled and machinery coming his way. He flees, though he encounters yet another area of houses. Feeling distressed, he makes a break for it through a gap of people, all screaming. Some take photos of him, the lines upon his body lighting up like lightning, flames bursting from the air around him.

He starts his new life on the outskirts of the newly arising cities, scavenging for food in bins and litter. Silently wandering in the night, alone.

One night he comes across a fresh deer carcass on the side of a road, excited to finally eat a real meal. However, when he approaches, another wolf appears, growling at Alarhys, claiming it for himself. The two stare at one another intensely vying for dominance, Alarhys mustering up his energy to raise his fur and light his eyes, though the other wolf remains unfazed, pouncing for the first strike. The two then begin to fight, biting and clawing at one another, though Alarhys slowly but surely starting to gain control. The two fight to the bone until Alarhys finally pushes him back to the side of the road. Unbeknownst to him however, a car speeds towards him, Alarhys only just turning his head to see it at the last moment. However, the other wolf, bleeding and battered, leaps out to push Alarhys out of the way, the two tangled together, rolling off the other side of the road in a grassy outcrop. For a moment, they remain still, still processing the events prior. Eventually, the wolf god untenses, pulling away from the wolf. As he does, the wolf collapses onto the ground. Alarhys carries him on his back and takes him to his small crevice of the world, in an abandoned barn.

During his recovery, Alarhys hunts everyday for food, finding water to help him feel better. The wolf wakes up a few days later, though the two act coldly towards one another. One day, Alarhys finds him on the ground outside the barn in attempt to escape, though he is still bleeding. The two begin a new life, though not by choice, a simple life of survival. However, as construction begins in their area, the barn being destroyed in the process, the two are forced to leave, forced to move more central to the city, an area that proves challenging.

As the wolf recovers, the two grow closer, forced to work together to scavenge and eat, the two prideful wolves learning to respect one another. Much to Alarhys' dismay, he is forced to follow the wolf's guidance, his knowledge having come from living in the urban environment his whole life. The two fight often, Alarhys too hot tempered to swallow his pride, his clumsy boldness proving futile in the city. However, as the time calls for it, he begins to follow the wolf's lead. One night, the two sit on the roof of a warehouse overlooking the city. A thousand dazzling stars twinkling and blinking, cars and windows, streetlamps and billboards. Alarhys thinks of the countryside he had lived in long ago, now replaced by acres of concrete and city. A countryside his companion will never know. During this time, he thinks of how for once, the wolf sees him not as above or below him, but equal. Though he feels threatened by the notion, he learns to enjoy being viewed as equal, not something to be feared or respected. Just him. He never seems to wonder who Alarhys is, where he has come from; thinking only of the present, of the wolf he is now. The two are then chased by hunters, leaping from rooftop to rooftop in their escape, laughing as they do.

He grows more confident, using his magic in secret to bless the people around him, though they do not realise he is there. Saving fallen baby chicks and looking after stray cats and dogs, he begins to help others, for nothing in return. For the love of life alone. On one occasion, he is seen in a park by a mother and child. Though the mother attempts to call her back, the girl runs up to him, stroking his fur, Alarhys wagging his tails. She tells her mother that he is like a dog from her favourite TV show, and the mother strokes him too. The two leave after playing for a while, leaving him with a smile on his face when he returns to his companion.

The years roll by, the two blossoming together, becoming accustomed to the city. Alarhys, satisfied with his current life, thinks no more of his home on the moon, even as it taunts him night by night. The two live day by day, just about surviving. A life neither perfect nor imperfect. However, as the wolf grows older, Alarhys remains the same, eternally. Though it never scared him before, the thought of the wolf dying begins to haunt him, reminding him of his earlier companion and children. As his wolf companion does, never to live a life of regret, he thinks of what might happen after the wolf dies, lamenting the never-ending cycle of his life. So, when the wolf is older, Alarhys takes him to see the forests and countryside. Beginning an arduous quest, they attempt to leave the city, dodging cars and sneaking through streets. Eventually, they make it to suburbia, skyscrapers fading into the sky like mere impressions. And yet, it seems they are still not yet there, quieter streets and cobwebs of roads and fields becoming commonplace. And yet, the two travel on. However, the wolf begins to grow weary, Alarhys desperately pushing him on. However, just before the mountains in the distance, in an industrial area of smoky plumes and pipes, the wolf collapses of tiredness. Alarhys desperately tries to get him up, but the wolf bites him, forcing him to stop.

As Alarhys grows hopeless, the wolf merely smiling as he lays there, he musters his magic one last time, inviting grasses beneath his feet, tearing up the concrete below. As his eyes and markings light up, the earth around is transformed and shredded apart by trees and plants, surrounding the wolf with nature. The plumes of smoke are wafted away by a fresh sunlit breeze, the blood from his wound turning into winding streams and rivers. Flowers begin to blossom from the two wolves' fur and wounds, trees protruding from the buildings, tearing anything in their way. Though the wolf uses his last ounce of energy as if beckoning him to stop, he doesn't, continuing to paint the world with nature. Eventually the wolf gives up, eyeing the world around him, in awe. Alarhys grows weaker by the second, his energy sapped by the trees and flowers he produces, but he doesn't stop. Above, the sun begins to glow the colour of his eyes, shining directly upon the two wolves. His tears turn into starlight, and the growth of the nature slows down. He collapses, his magic producing a forest that has spread for miles, tearing buildings and cars and roads, and inviting a volley of animals to live within its clutches. By now, a crowd of people have amassed around the new forest, entranced by its sudden appearance and beauty. Kids play climb up the trees, playing games and chasing one another whilst old people look nostalgically thinking of the past, of the lands they too remember. Though there are workers angry that the forest had caused traffic, they soon forget about their worries and relax, entranced by the flowers. Some eat the fruits that grow fresh upon the branches, whilst some dip their toes in the waters. As the day draws to a close, a boy notices the wolves in the centre of the forest, drawing the crowd. A grandmother tells them that it is the work of god, a good, gracious god.

In his last moments, he looks at the wolf, the moons reflected in his dead eyes. With a final breath, he breaks the loop, choosing to die than to return to the moon.

As the two lie dead, bathed in the moons light, two new stars gleam in the sky.

Further complicating matters is that his sleepy hometown of Bamborg is apparently a hotspot for supernatural occurences (some of which Lukás and friends are directly responsible for), and he is being observed by the government and a mysterious entity. With the help of his friends Dániel, Mohammed, and Maria, and occasionally his bizarre and easily irritable identical twin brother Klós, Lukás is determined to figure out the mysteries of his cosmic powers and be a hero.

Season 1
Episode 1 - Becoming a Hero was an Honest Mistake
Written By: Lazlo Andras
An anomaly in spacetime strikes in the exact spot where Lukás is skateboarding, knocking him unconscious and hospitalizing him. After being released from the hospital, Lukás attempts to readjust to daily life, but begins exhibiting strange new powers he has no control over. He seeks help from his friends, thrill-seeker Dániel, techie Mohammed, and tough girl Maria, who suggest he focus on attempting to master his abilities. The next day, a squid-like monster emerges from a local construction site and rampages, and Lukás and his friends are barely able to stop it with his new powers. Lukás then decides he wants to become a superhero.

Lukás’s brother Klós is irate after a box of donuts he purchased goes missing, and spends most of the episode searching for it. After encountering the squid monster, he assumes it stole his donuts and improvises a weapon out of a street sign to deliver the killing blow in the battle, though he is unaware of Lukás’s powers and assumes he was caught in the crossfire.
Credits Tag: Klós disgruntledly buys a new box of donuts.

Episode 2 - Awakening the Bamborg Tó Monster was an Honest Mistake
Written By: Lazlo Andras
Lukás and Dániel come to the realization that Lukás can use his powers to embarrass their school bully, István Gooden. Inviting him, his gang, and the school newspaper staff to the local lake, Bamborg Tó, for a boat race, with the intent of magically capsizing István’s boat and embarrassing him on camera. During a practice run involving an abandoned canoe, Lukás accidentally summons a supercharged lightning bolt, striking the lake and awakening a gargantuan plesiosaur, which reacts violently. When the bullies and reporters arrive, the monster threatens their safety, and Lukás, having donned a welding mask and gloves reluctantly fights the monster and sends it back to the lake floor. István, thinking Lukás didn’t show, insists he won and storms off, and school newspaper reporter Carolin leaves with a story about an apparent new masked superhero.

Mohammed refuses to come to the boat race so he can accompany his crush Mora on a date. At their date, however, he realizes that they have virtually nothing in common with each other. When Mora insults his friends, he leaves, and encounters Dániel and Lukás leaving the race. After having the events of the race explained to him, Mohammed makes Lukás promise never to use his powers for personal gain, though they both acknowledge the promise likely won’t be kept.
Credits Tag: A pair of government agents in a black van pull up near Lukás’s house for a stakeout, only for the agents to argue about Arnold Schwarzenegger films.

Episode 3 - Expanding our Enterprise was an Honest Mistake
Written By: Ana Bisschop
After the battle at Bamborg Tó, Lukás and his friends are pleasantly surprised to discover that Carolin’s story about “Welding Mask” has gone viral, although no one is certain of their true identity. After some discussion, they decide they need to become more professional if they intend to fight evil, and set up a hideout in an abandoned manor in the woods. Klós asks to help, having recognized Welding Mask as Lukás from the clothes he wore that day, and Lukás reluctantly agrees. While going through old chests, Maria finds a film reel dated from 1980. Not having a projector, the four break into a local multiplex to watch it. On the film, an unknown man explains that cosmic anomalies inexplicably occur in random spots on earth, sometimes affecting people. He goes on to state that as of 1980, no one has survived an anomaly, but one inevitably will, and will be granted superpowers, and thus, he has left various other reels hidden around Bamborg to instruct that person on how to use them. Rewatching the reel, Maria spots that the man is subtly pointing towards a model tractor, and deduces the next reel could be on a farm.

Carolin has a dispute with a conspiracy YouTube channel run by students Pál and Györgia over coverage of Welding Mask, with Carolin accusing them of fearmongering. Following a physical fight, they are sent to detention, where Carolin gets the last laugh after their teacher inadvertently spoils the new Eelman movie, which Pál and Györgia hadn’t seen yet. School Dean Herzeg receives news of Welding Mask’s existence, and dials an unknown number on a secret phone.
Credits Tag: Lukás, Dániel, Mohammed and Maria leave the multiplex fleeing security, while Klós is caught due to staying behind in an attempt to purchase tickets for the new Eelman.

Season 1 | 2023
The first season of The Mole takes place in the countries of Waisnor and Malta Comino Gozo. In every show, there are three challenges. In these money can be earned, and potentially, for the players, the following could be gained, either as prizes, or found in the challenge areas:
  1. Jokers: These are large, wooden discs with the Mole thumbprint imprinted on them. When played, one wrong answer is automatically corrected to a right answer on the test of the player that used them. Multiple jokers can be used on a test, and a player does not have to use jokers at the moment they are earned.
  2. Exemptions: These are thin, green plastic discs with the Mole thumbprint imprinted on them. When played, the player does not have to see their own screen at the elimination, thereby giving them a free pass to the next episode. A player may hold multiple exemptions, and does not have to use the exemption when it is earned.
  3. Black Exemptions: These are thin, black plastic discs with the Mole thumbprint imprinted on them. When played, all jokers and exemptions played on the test are nullified, and they are removed from the game.

At the end of three challenges, all players must take a test of 20 questions regarding the actions and attributes of The Mole. Then, at random, the host shows the results for each player in order. If they see a green screen, they are through to the next episode. If they see a red screen, they scored the worst in the test, and the player must immediately leave the game. It can be possible that every eligible candidate sees a green screen (e.g. the worst performing player gets an exemption). In this case, every player survives to the next episode.

Season 1
Episode 1 - RAM-PAM-wha???
Written By: Adam Haneshtaim
Ramizard has just recently graduated university, getting his degree in architecture and ready to chase his dreams of being an architect... But... Things just didn't go that quickly to his dreams. He kept applying, running up and down, but no one just accepted him. And now he didn't have enough money... sheesh. And now, he need money. Luckily an experiment offer has just arised. He, with desperate need of money, took the job, and went into a lab with scientists around. The experimentation started, and initially it started well! Until...

Episode 2 - RAM-PAM-you know what, still confused.
Written By: Rizal Vanne Salem
Ramizard woke up to see that a mirror has indicated that he has grown... rabbit ears. Who wouldn't panic over that? Now no one will accept him into any architecture job because people will think he's a WEIRDO! Seeking information, Ramizard walked around and confronted the scientists, who apologized since there was an unseen before gene that snuck into the experiment somehow, but atleast he got a hoodie to hide the ears, and he got the money... After he begrudgingly took the money, Ramizard went outside to maybe get some carrot juice (weird, he didn't like carrots previously)... But then, a robber forced Ramizard to hand over his money, which wasn't met so well by Ramizard. Suddenly, he started fighting back, which impressed someone in the background.

Episode 3 - RAM-PAM-PAM finally
Written By: Adam Haneshtaim
The fight against the robber continue. Ramizard immediately found out that he can jump, he can kick, and he can bounce faster than anyone could. He quickly beat the robber, and seen by a lot of people. You see, Ramizard has a bad habit of showing off and being cocky, and being bathed with attention isn't helping. He smiled and waved at the camera, until suddenly two hands snatched him from behind and pulled him somewhere else. After being blacked out for a little while, Ramizard woke up to see a grey-haired man also with gray rabbit ears greet him with seriousness. It's the inspector. The inspector greeted Ramizard and welcomed him. Around then, the inspector started to explain that Ramizard has been recruited into the "Rabbit-Attitude-Magnitude, Pretty-Amazing-Miraculously, Prepared-Alliance of the-Majestics" or known as RAM-PAM-PAM and he's about to start training right away as Ramizard was whisked into the training center as he screamed of a combination of "let me go", "explain yourselves", and "you guys are bad at abbreviations".

Episode 4 - What makes a Ram
Written By: Rizal Vanne Salem
As Ramizard got brought into the training center, he's met with Pammy (the tomboy), Souzzle (the nerd), and Hector (the himbo). There, nothing much was explained, but they just talked there, surrounded by random technology, including rabbit-eared scientists who are testing the benefit of enhancing the nutritional capabilities of a carrot. Ramizard firstly got told that in this base, his name is "Ram" and to get used to it. Secondly, the three explained that it's actually RAM-PAM-PAM's decision to pull Ramizard into the organization and also regarding the whole rabbit-eared thingy. Ram was shocked by this of course, and wanted to just walk out and maybe find another scientist who can reverse the effect. The three pleaded to Ram to not leave because they promised that everything will be worth it, including training. Ram sighed and asked why he should stay, but as the three about to explain each of their reasoning suddenly, something appeared: Someone who looks like an evil version of Ram, and the three can't hold it off because of this villain's strength. Ram is forced to fight.

Episode 5 - Suddenly, a fight
Written By: Adam Haneshtaim
Ram has to fight an evil version of himself that no one knows how did it enter the base. BUT one thing, it must've been a breach, and Ram has to fight it. Ram is unexperienced, but atleast bought enough time to call in the chief of RAM-PAM-PAM to finish the creature off. The day was saved with the chief's power and Ram's quick thinking using time bought by the chief, but Ram is still left with questions: Why do he have this evil twin? Why do he have to stay in RAM-PAM-PAM? Why do he keeps craving for carrot juice? Ram will find the answers to all of that eventually, but the chief was so impressed by the fact that even if Ram was unexperienced, he still have enough "talent" to fend creatures off and starts assigning him on missions.

Episode 6 - Oh, the humanity!
Written By: Rizal Vanne Salem
Everyone knows that Ram has the potential, but potential will bring anyone nowhere if nothing's been done to improve it. And that's why, Ram was put into intense training, including on how to hide his "rabbit" identity, and when to quickly use his rabbit powers when everyone around him needs him to do so. Ram was given patrol duty, basically to walk around, find danger, and outsmart the danger by using everything he got with that new power of his. He found a lot of crimes, and started solving it one by one... But then, Ram starts to overwork due to the constant ego-stroke he keeps getting, and now when a pack of robbers are robbing an entire shopping district, Ram was too tired to fight. But as Ram was too tired to let it go, Hector came around and helped Ram saving the day. At that time, Ram understood that it's not good to overwork himself. And SPEAKING OF WORK, the inspector told him that since RAM-PAM-PAM don't actually get money, Ram isn't paid... That's right: HE HAS TO GET A JOB.

Episode 7 - White-Collared Man-Rabbit-Thingy
Written By: Adam Haneshtaim
Ram was furious. He got pulled into this entire fiasco, forced into training, VERY rigorous training, and NOW he must find a job again? He thought there'll be monetary compensation! And when the inspector pulled the "it's for the good of the world" card, Ram was even more furious, promising to himself that he wouldn't answer to any call from RAM-PAM-PAM ever again, and to just cut contact. Eventually, since Ram learned how to hide his rabbit ears, he looks like a normal bloke, and finally got accepted into an architectural office! Things were doing well from time to time, and then things are getting more monotonous... He kind of actually missed his days in RAM-PAM-PAM. Like, even though he's there for a week and stopped answering for nearly two months, he missed his friends, and training, and yadda-yadda-yadda. But maybe it's time to move along... Just not "earthquake-esque glass-moving" kind of move along, because now there's a monster-creature thing ravaging the city. Ram answered the call and in office clothing, fought the monster with his friends, saved the day, and went back to his office... Only to see the inspector there, who have been disguising himself as Ram's boss all the time he's been working in the architectural office! Apparently, all of this is a test-of-patience for Ram (who can be impulsive at times) and invited Ram to be a genuine RAM-PAM-PAM agent. Ram accepted, and now have officially become the Craziest Human-Rabbit... Thing??? in the Universe.

Episode 8 - Never Good Enough For You (Summer Festival Special)
Written By: Rizal Vanne Salem
Days and weeks passed as Ram becomes more and more experienced within Ram-Pam-Pam, but another thing became clear that he's still unexperienced in one thing: Parental Issues. Astanas (Summer Festival) is coming around and everyone's celebrating with ice-cream, beaches, shopping... All except for Ram. He kept distracting himself with missions and training, and nothing much about the winter. Pammy asked Ram about why he's not in the celebrating mood, and he didn't say anything. It's then became Pammy's mission to answer the question herself, no matter what she must do. She sneaked into Ram's apartment, which is in disarray. Disgusted, she started cleaning around (Ram will thank her anyway), but then stumbled upon a letter from Ram's parents asking him to visit for Astanas, since it's a vacation week and all of that. Ram confronted Pammy about trespassing into his apartment, Pammy confronted Ram about why he didn't celebrate Astanas. Ram then broke the news: Astanas last year was the day when Ram was kicked out of the house, like they wanted nothing to do with Ram anymore. When asked why, Ram said that it's because Ram can't finish school at the right time, can't find a job, can't find a wife, and can't start a family, etc. etc. Pammy then told Ram that his parents do still care, because there are letters that said otherwise. Ram then told Pammy, that he wrote those letters himself, imagining a more harmonious family life, saying that he'll never be good enough for them. Pammy then said, "but you're more than good enough for us at Ram-Pam-Pam". A hug was shared as the scene zooms out showing Ram and Pammy walking out into a sunny Astanas.

Episode 9 - The Intern's Guitar
Written By: Adam Haneshtaim
It's a slow day at RAM-PAM-PAM. Hector and Pammy are watching TV, Souzzle's reading books, and Ram's skateboarding around. Suddenly, the room's door was barged open by an intern officer at RAM-PAM-PAM panicking and accusing each one of them of stealing his AZ$ 100k guitar. A slow investigation and search session was made. The entire building's interior turned from a slick-and-span futuristic building into a building that looks like it's been abandoned for decades and someone just robbed the entire contents, and there's no sign of a guitar anywhere. The inspector finally arrives into the room, mad that the room has been nearly destroyed by litter and clutter and asked just what the heck is going on. The thing got explained, a CCTV footage was shown, and it looks like a robber just opened the window of the intern's lab, went in, took the guitar, and went out like nothing had happened. So a search outside was initiated, the guitar was retrieved as the robber looked like he needs stitches, it got returned, and the intern thanked the group. Ram finally asked the million-dollar question: "Why do you have a guitar like that?". The intern (after pleading everyone to not break the news) answered that he's actually an international musician who wanted to do something different after he won an international musical competition. The group wanted to know more about him, and asked whether there'll be a future gig. Apparently, there will, and everyone in Ram-Pam-Pam is invited (as long as they are in their full-human disguises)! It's a spectacle as the intern sang the song that brought him to international superstardom.

Episode 10 - And Eventually, We Have To Do It
Written By: Rizal Vanne Salem
Yet another slow day, and Hector decided that maybe it's time for a party where everyone in Ram Pam Pam is invited, everyone got to eat delicious things including his world-famous carrot cake, and things were going well as decorations are set up, Souzzle's getting the games ready, Pammy's setting up the table, and Ram standing there alone in the center while he was actually supposed to keep decorating the food for the party. Souzzle looked at Ram and asked him about what's wrong, Pammy's worried that it's about Ram's parents, Hector stops cooking for a while also worried. Ram sensed things suspiciously, question keeps arising, until suddenly, a UFO-thingy appears, and the party has to be suspended for a fight. Eventually, Ram had already predicted something like this would happen. Ram might be the newest member, but he still have the best intuitions, he just can't figure out what exactly. And now, a fight has to happen, since at this point, the UFO-thingy starts ravaging the city, and they are not showing any signs of stopping. One by one, Ram's friends were defeated, including the higher-ups, and Ram didn't know what to do, and Ram got crushed by a UFO... And everything went black until suddenly, a memory passed him by: His grandfather, who gave him a very blurred advice, but Ram suddenly broke the UFO that crushed him into half, and Ram finally knew what to do... in Season Two.

Other Information
  • Host/Presenters: Merah Pamuncak, Kemuning Sampurna, Akhdar Muhammad
  • Other Cast: Participants of the festival
  • Summary of Show (up to 1,000 words) below;
Bukatan is a three days long Cempakan New Year Festival based on the local solar calendar, usually falling either on first or second week of February. Originally an exclusively Bethinan religious celebration to celebrate good harvest, it has been adopted by ethnic Cempakans across religious spectrum and celebrated annually ever since across the country as a mostly secular holiday. On the night before the first day, celebrants will usually clean their homes and preparing dishes for feast with families and friends in the next morning, and visitors are usually invited to eat the prepared snacks together.

The second day of the festival is the peak celebration of the festival and is usually marked by street fairs, with stands selling light snacks and flowers, while street theatres, either officially-commissioned or not, will perform in parks and plazas, re-enacting Cempakan folktales, or sometimes another popular folktales from other regions in Samudera as well. The evening is marked by music performances by either domestic or foreign bands and lantern parades that may last until late in the night.

The third day of the celebration is usually celebrated with figures wearing costumes of heroes or benevolent figures from the country’s classical folktales, such as Princess Gambang, who appear in the streets to share farewell gifts to children much like the more well-known figure Santa Claus, with the usual parting greeting that they will meet again on the next year. Later in the evening, followers of the traditional Bethinan faith may come to their temples to express their thanks for the bountiful harvest and pray for another one next year, while Cempakan Muslims or followers of other faith may do the same as well in their respective places of worship.

BPS, the only Samuderan broadcaster affiliated with IBA, usually would broadcast the whole event live starting from the morning of the second day of the celebration to the night, and then continuing in the morning to the night of the third day. Because the Cempakan calendar is different from the widely-used Gregorian calendar, the date of the celebration will usually be announced in the country’s calendar of the next year.

Set in the late 1970s and early 1980s in an independent Efyre, Heddiw follows the life of reporter Rhodri Methanu and his family. Unexpectedly promoted to the position of co-anchor for IRT's primetime news programme, Rhodri will have to navigate the world as the tiny nation backslides into abject chaos. He'll report on the rise of populist party Rydym, a flaring of mass unrest, and international tensions, all the while dealing with drama within IRT, his family, and the little country sandwiched between 2 powers.
