Corporal Jules Allard was just waking up. It was 0500 and his bunkmates were as well. Suddenly explosions were heard. Jules military training kicked in and he went to his M16 and started to move out. As he walked out, an explosion blew him back and knocked him unconscious. After 10 seconds he woke up covered in blood and guts. He seemed dazed, though he managed to get to the Battlion. The Major was there and began to orgnaize them and waited for some time and marched off to the battle field. Jules was walking behind the command group when it came under fire. Jules dropped his weapon and fell. He tried to crawl to a large rock where the major was. But they pushed him out. Jules suddenly looked yp and saw an artillery shell going towards the rock. He ran and managed to escape the explosion. He then returned to the rock and started to fire shots off toward the exposed Indochinea soldiers.
