The first was the Peaceful Revolution, between 1961 and 1968, that ousted PM James Mackarthay and reversed most of his illiberal policies, purges, Red Scares, anti-hippie crackdowns, etc. The second one, currently ongoing, is the Occupy Forest movement hitting much of the region of Forest, caused by anger and frustration at the power and influence of big corporations. These protests have led to many changes on a national and local level in Middle Barael, including a round of snap elections which are scheduled for early 2022, although the protests have been slowing down as changes are gradually implemented.
Is your nation unstable, and if so, how unstable is it? Despite the protests and the big social changes, Middle Barael is still considered to be very stable by most geopolitical experts. Middle Barael is famous for having many protests, strikes, and activist movements, and very few of the protestors call for outright revolution.

No one in our religion has started a revolt, which is around 100% of the population, but foreigners who refused to convert revolted just now in the Altai region. There was also the Communist revolt of 1979, with many Soviets coming in and starting a revolution. That was crushed in a few weeks.

However, Thuoye borders many hostile governments who seek to undermine it, and there is a good chance of a bloody intra-party power struggle when the General Secretary passes away.
