As the choices stand, the current flag remains the best choice aesthetically.

What makes the Actual Flag work is the contrast. White on a single color, especially white on the bold and decently dark red, stands out and makes for symbolism that's easy to read. Both Options 1 and 2 feature white-heavy or white-exclusively symbolism, all of which laid over multiple colors at once. This makes the featured symbolism difficult to read at a glance.

I don't know your nation's symbolism and whether or not the two referendum options would be better representations of your country. If you're really interested in making either of these referendum options work, you can consider placing the symbolism in with a border. The following is a quick mockup of this in action:

This reminds me of socialist mongolia, what did you use for the border if i may ask? thankyou for your very appreciated suggestions.

The second flag and third represent the plumeria, in addiction to the actual one, which is the national flower of our nation.

I have such a flag in mind, if you add it to the options, I wonder how many votes it will get for democracy.

I support keeping the current flag. It's nice, concise and nice to look at and represents the nation well. The other less so.

Yeah probably if there's an option 1 win but it's very close I'll keep the actual one still because it fits my nation well and it'd be hard for me to leave the flag after so many months with it.

I considered changing it because i like the plumeria flower and wanted to use it more.

Depends on what you mean by the border.

If you mean the colors, I used the red from your current flag. The white is, well, white.

If you mean how did I make the border, I used Photoshop. I cut out the plumeria and star so they were on their own layer on top. Then I gave that layer a border of, IIRC, 10px. After that I gave it one more border of white which added about half of that, so 5px (or 15px if you measure from the layer content.) If you use an image editor other than Photoshop, your workflow may be a little different. In other programs you may want to look for different terminology, like Stroke or Outline. Photoshop can stack additional borders on top one another, but this isn't necessarily the case in other programs. You can achieve the same effect though by converting the styling to its own layer then applying a border on that. I'm fairly confident that would be a given feature for most robust image editors out there. For reference, you'd look for a feature that was something like this.

I am undecided, I like the current flag for its aesthetics, even if it reminds me of the Caribbean and South American nations. The first option can accentuate the fact that you are a nation located in Asia.

I prefer option 1. But, I like more by esthetic reasons the current flag over the modified versions.
Personally I dislike heraldic metals, White and yellow, together.
You could try to change the star of your current flag by the flower.

The current flag is good, and the alternatives breach the rule of tincture not in a good way, making them not that pretty.

However, I would suggest some change in the flag without changing overall design, like changing sizes of the star and the palm tree.
