Fragment from a statement from a speech made by José Amanda

"... A new flag for a new federation! after all the bloodshed that ocurred by many reasons from our 1st independence to our current government in the blood that we sadly shed from enemies that were part of the previous government, the Stalinist terrorists, we also chose white as to represent the willingness for peace and prosperity for not just Saralonia but the world! while cyan is to represent the new horizon to which we look forwards to as a sea of tranquility and of order."

Okay, here we go

The bird in the middle of our flag is the Crow of King William. According to legend, a crow with a white patch in the shape of a fleur-de-lis on its wings landed on the shield of an impoverished Emperor William I while he was raising an army to quash a Haufenburg rebellion in 1671. Instead of killing the crow and feasting upon it, he kept the crow with him. It is said that the crow had powers of the supernatural variety, and, when defeat was imminent at the decisive Battle of Hooveroy against the French in 1684, the crow sacrificed itself within the view of William to make the enemy army retreat. Soon after, the crow was taxidermied and placed on display in the Abbey of the Isles in Densmouth, where it remains to this day.

You may have noticed the many fleur-de-lis in the background. These come from the arms of Emperor Frederick IV, the son of Emperor William I. After the taking of Douria, Frederick decided that he wanted to claim the entire nation of France, and thus added the French arms to his. These arms were inherited by his only daughter, Mary of Dentricia, who renounced the claim.

Soon after, the colours of Mary's coat of arms were changed to yellow and blue, with white being added during the reign of Catherine I of Dentricia. The blue represents the seas of Carrelie, as well as its navy. The yellow represents the virtue and glory of the nation, and the white represents the everlasting monarchy and Carrelie's place 'in the light', or more appropriately, on the world stage.

So this is an alternate Canadian flag I made, its not my actual one.

The Fleur de Lis is, well, a fleur de lis. The colors are based on....I liked them. But the stars are inspired by the flags of Australia and New Zealand, with this one representing the Northern Cross constellation (Cygnus)

My flag's meaning is as follows:

The lion represents our motto (never surrender)
The crown represents the monarchy
The red represents nothing, I just like it
Same with the blue

My flag represents the flag of the Var, which, according to legend, the territory was discovered by the Var, the three stars represent the three democratic presidents who lead the country, Phillipe Clergue, Thierry Thomas and Paul Levalle who voted there a week ago stopping adding stars for the next presidents.

The red symbolizes the sacrifice, the new overcoming the old, the Sea of Blood, for this is the price that the Mark of Endurance paid to ensure Arcesius's survival. The First Monarch took the Creature with him, healed its scars, and became his loyal companion.

The X-Dossiers has exposed a second conspiracy, this time involving the House of Arkess, who it claims has been hiding the truth about the Diarcesian Unification for years. If true, this would mean that even though the Monarchy has claimed otherwise, the father of the First Monarch is actually the real author of the Diarcesian flag, as well as other symbols and devices associated with the Monarchy.

Extracted from the the Flag Symbolism Atlas:

"....The 49 stars represents the 49 "Imperial Knights", the people that supported and was associated with Emperor Norton I during the Goldmanian Civil War, and the largest star represents the Emperor himself. The 13 stripes represents the current 13 regions of New Goldman, and are the main points for Imperial Governance. The Red represents Bravery. The White represents Cleanliness. And finally, The Blue represents Patriotism."

The Flag first used by the "Central Revolutionary Base Area", as it was called in 1926, is first documented as having been in use by communist rebels in the Jianxi-Uprising of 1924. To this day the year of the Jianxi-Uprising, 1924, is celebrated as the founding date of the Chinese Red Army - 5 years before the actual founding of the state. Hammer, Sickle and Star are pretty obvious, the band on the left says "Worker's and Peasants Red Army of China".

[ooc] This is a bit of an alternate-history thing: the Chinese Soviet Republic survives the nationalist encirclement campaigns - no long march, less cooperation with the Nationalists against the japs, a divided mainland china. Thanks to Stalins nuclear umbrella (and the death of Mao-Zedong in 1944) the Soviet Republic survives to this day, with rather...more liberal characteristics compared to the real PRC. No cultural revolution, no "great leap", but no Dengism either. Kind of a more massive and less oppressive DPRK, with an uneasy peace with the ROC (that after all controls more than half of mainland china). More liberal than OTL PRC, shaped by Maos earlier "Mass Line" ideas and a healthy dose of actual nationalism, the nation still stands.

Image

Very much a mythical figure, a symbol like Lenin, Maos writings still endure, and the nation to this day celebrates him, next to Zhu De and Zhou Enlai, as the greastest hero of the state and the party. "Mao-Zedong-Thought" is seen as a more liberal, more open form of communist ideology and has its followers in many countries. The european left has many Maoists, as do the opressed countries of Africa, the People's War combined with Mass Line politics and untarnished by any "great leaps" and the like...

My flag symbolizes the upbringing of a Communism. The rebellion was a partial success but ended up merging with the current government at the time( Democracy) to form the government we have today, Benunism.

The surrounding colors of purple and brown signify the bindings of religion and morel values that hold us to what we are today were the hand shows people wanting to be broken free.

The yellow represents the virtue of capitalism, the black represents the virtue of anarchism. And the Gadsden Snake in the middle represents our undying libertarianism. Pretty easy to comprehend and understand.

Red represents the blood shed for the revolution, white stands for the surrender of capitalism and the imperial powers, yellow stands for the sun. and the eagle and hammer and sickle stand for the strength of the people

There are two meanings, the modern meaning (official) and the obsolete one that is not official.

The obsolete meaning is that both green and yellow represents Brazil and our Brazilian heritage, while the color red represents the war and our republican ideal, as Brazil was a monarchy during the Piratinese independence war. It is considered obsolete for one reason: green and yellow are not the Brazilian colors anymore.

In the current official meaning, the yellow stands for the riches of the land, green represents the Pampas, and red represents bravery and the revolutionary spirit of the Gaucho.

Blue - The blue as used in the field of the flag is considered the traditional colour of Aikoland and has symbolised the monarchy and later the nation since at least the 14th century.

Fleur-de-lis - The three fleurs-de-lis are officially intended to symbolise Île-d'Aiko, Île-de-Saun, and Île-de-Boullién, the three states of Aikoland. However, they are also considered to symbolise the Catholic heritage of our nation and people. (A popular misconception is that they also symbolise the monarchy, as our nation's coat of arms also depicts three fleurs-de-lis on it, but the ones depicted on the coat of arms are in a different arrangement than on the flag, having two smaller ones on top and a larger one at the bottom rather than one large one at the top and two smaller ones on the bottom)

The upper half represents the rising sun, a hope from afar that we should all strive for. I took it from the Imperial Japanese flag. The second half however, the crosses means that I am not exactly Japan, like my nation's name. The four stars represents 4 of my main policy: Free Market, Education, Conservatism, and Democracy.

ICly flag description: https://i.imgur.com/4eYNSiw.png

The green background represents the ever-present nature in our country, as well as the pristine environment that we have maintained painstakingly throughout the years. We have vowed to protect and favor the environment even if it means to slow down or reduce our economy output. We are proud to have an economy that relies on book publishing (made from sustainable trees, though most of them are now E-books) and Information Technology, with the old technology (such as phones and computers) having a 99,9987 % recycle rate.

The heart in the middle represents our love, compassion, and friendliness for one another, with the pink colors strengthening this love to every single person in Valentine Z, regardless of race, language, gender, religion. Our goal is to ensure that each and everyone is treated fairly, and not to leave the weakest links and persons behind in their times of needs. A welfare state that takes care of its people. Inclusiveness also means that we are not exactly Politically Correct, but rather, it is simply a means to protect each other from discrimination.

The flag has green because of our growth, white because of our glaciers, and orange because we stole it from the Irish.

The horizontal tricolour represents the general landscape of the country, surrounded by seas, then come the beaches and the internal lhsh forests, mountains and hills. The red triangle represents the lives sacrificed for the revolution, the star represents socialism and the palm tree is both representative of the landscape and it's also a hope for a long life for the socialist republic.
