What is The Meaning Of Your Flag?

[Batea del Nord]

Our flag is a simplified version of the Royal Batean family heraldic colours. This flag was adopted by the Batean nationalism during the cultural renaissance and by the Batean nationalist parties, demanding more selfgovernment and more power of decision.
This flag was banned during more authoritarian Ucenan rule periods. Like Facistic and communists periods.
This flag was then adopted by the reformists of the Batean communist party first, demanding more economic and personal freedoms and more political autonomy. Later it evolved into a Prodemocracy movement and then to proindependence movement as Ucenan answers was repression. During the war of independence it was adopted by the Free Batean Forces trained by our neighbouring countries.
And, then finally by the Northern Batea Republic.

There are too many interpretations of this flag to fit in a readable bit of text, but, the most common ones are:

White: Stands for either peace, purity, ideals, daylight, the snow on the peaks of the Baygan Heights, or the element of Air. Or it may simply be there because with a little imagination, it makes the rest of the flag, when on a pole, appear to fly in mid air.

Blue: Stands for either hope, faith, life, the rivers, the night sky, or the element of water.

Yellow: Stands for fertility, prosperity, wheat fields, or the element of earth.

The three ears of wheat stand for food, unity, interdependence, collectives consisting of individuals, and the three Core Values of the nation. Different people may give very different answers about what those are, but the most common list is "community, civility, compassion". It is also sometimes interpreted to represent the element of fire, because, hey, if there's three elements, there should be a fourth one, right (plus, wheat ripens under the hot summer sun, someting with baking bread in ovens... in other words: Nova Bromelians tend to overthink things)

The circles mean stars and planets, the blue means the sky. The white on top means space and the white at the bottom means the ground.

The orange background represents markets whereas the red stripes represent socialism. The black represents our autonomy and self-sufficiency

[Syndic Australia]

Our flag is a syndicalist iteration on the Eureka Flag flown during the Eureka Rebellion.

Both flags feature a very similar white cross and stars. These are a representation of the Southern Cross constellation, which - as the name would suggest - can only be seen in the southern hemisphere.

Whereas all the stars on the Eureka Flag are 8-pointed and of identical size, the central star in the Syndic flag is larger and has 12-points. These points each represent a state within the federation - the original (otl) flag of the Commonwealth of Australia also featured a 'Federation Star' below the Union Jack.

Within the Federation Star of the Syndic flag is a glyph consisting of a burning torch afront a hemisphere, ringed by a gear. This is the symbol adopted by the revolutionary syndicalists, and is based off of the logo for the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), to which many belonged. The hemisphere represents the world (or proletariat), the torch freedom, and the gear industry.

There are variations of the flag flown that incorporate other ubiquitous socialist iconography, such as wheat wreaths and various tools & weaponry, but the official flag lacks these additons.

Finally, the Syndic flag is red, whereas the original Eureka flag is blue. Both colours were chosen in their day to represent solidarity, though Australics were used to a red flag anyway. At the time of the May Day Revolution, the 'Red Ensign' flag of the Commonwealth of Australia was more commonly flown than its blue counterpart (Otl Australian flag), being the main flag flown by soldiers during the Great War as well. Red just made more sense, and reusing the blue of the Eureka flag would run the risk of diluting its history.

[Hittisha]

Hittisha's current flag was originally designed during the late 1800s, going through various alterations up until 1929.

The nation's core identifying symbol, featured at the center, represents its culture as well as the Kushuburi faith, superimposed on an impending solar eclipse, as was believed to have taken place during the early days of the first kingdom, given emphasis by the surrounding rays.

The golden cross is for Christianity and the illumination of the word of God. The purple is the color of the Phönizien emperors, and it is a remembrance of the Holy Empire at its height. The orange background represents the intensity of their zeal, just like how the sunrise extinguishes the darkness. The emblem stands for their natural resources being blessed by the cleansing flame.

The blue represents the great blue skies, the green represents the great rainforests and trees, the yellow represents peace and love. And the white represents justice for all and the sun represents hope.

Flag of Democratic Republic of Srednjaci represent people ( red colour), greenlands (Green) and Sea (blue).

The colours were commonly used by the city states that would later start the first Ko-orenite government, from which the country grew further. Yellow was later added.

The blue and white are the color of the confederation. I put a decent amount of symbolism in my nation's flag:

Green - Energy, Force, Hyperspace, Chaos
Entropic hyperspace magic has a distinct greenish coloration when in standard space-time - so most of the Disorder's technology exhibits this green appearance.

Black - Void, Emptiness, Space
The Disorder is a nation of space nomads. Space is their domain, and dominance of it is paramount.

Feathers/Wings (left side)
Traditionally a symbol of flight. Space flight, and hyperspace flight, are core features of the Disorder.

Symbol Rotation
There is no up or down in space - there is simply velocity. Soaring is the same as accelerating.

Rocket exhaust plume (left side)
Vast speed and acceleration are quite essential to the Disorder. Most of their ships are profoundly fast.

Explosion (left side)
The 'feather/wing' features also look like half of an explosion.

White projectile & vapor trail (right side)
This represents the purity and brilliance of physical destruction.

The juxtaposition infers that the projectile has pierced through its target and spent only a fraction of its energy. The Disorder seeks to pierce and obliterate obstacles with excessive force and power, as depicted on their flag.

Ultra-high-energy collisions between target and projectile sometimes rip shockwaves of superheated vapor from the target, following the projectile with a fraction of its velocity. Magnetic interactions in the plasma spall sometimes produce very unique and beautiful exit-shockwaves. The shape of profound obliteration is so important to the Disorder, it's on their flag.

Asymmetry (right side)
The asymmetry in the exit shockwaves represents the chaos and unpredictability in the universe, which is revered in the Disorder.

TLDR: If the flag looks evil, that's because it is.

[Mevraq]

The Mevraqi flag combines two symbols. The skull and crossed swords is, of course, an old pirate symbol. It both recalls our country's origins as a pirate haven and our modern revolutionary spirit. The cog and anchor is the emblem chosen by the Labor Union Alliance, representing the manufacturing and maritime unions that led the 1979 revolution and established the current Mevraqi state. It replaced the hammer and sickle used by the Berkane regime.

[Alaska Hawaii and the Aleutes]

The black background most commonly represents the dark and difficult past each part had to go through.
The light blue Diamond stands for the peace achieved in the present.
The purple Diamond stands for the Greatness that my nation shall achieve.
The Golden thing at the left side stands for Unity of the different States.
The Lotus on the Water stands again for peace, but this time for 'peace forever even as times change'
The 7 stars surrounding the lotus stand for the 7 original states of the Union. Some Argue that they are the stars representing all the states joining, but because the flag is relatively new, nobody knows.

[Ascion]

The blue color represents perseverance, liberty and justice.
The white color represents longevity, equality and peace.
The crane represents unity.
The white ring circling the crane represents our openness to the multiverse (it means our universe with thin border and anyone can enter or get in, and Ascion is open to all kind of contacts and communications from other universes)

[Montanity]

The cyan stands for Montanity's vast seas
The white stands for our justice
The yellow stands for our clear skies
The seal on the left side stands for our colonizer Middle Vers
The star stands for our autonomy
And the wave stands for us being a colony

[The Dominion of Mankind]

It's more of a seal than a flag, but let me explain.

The outer circle with three shades of purple represents the three main branches of the Dominion, the many spokes are symbolic of the numerous local polities that form the greater whole, the circle itself can be interpreted as the shield that humanity has erected around itself after many millennia of failed states and bloodshed.

The triangle with the symbol (alchemic sun symbol) in the middle is symbolic of the upper leadership known as the Quartet (three representatives of each branch with the leader in the middle). It can also be interpreted as the watchful eye of the Internal Affairs branch.

Additionally, the entire seal itself is a filled squared-circle, which is an alchemic symbol that represents the philosopher's stone. This is obligatory because alchemy was codified and used to great effect by the Dominion.

[New RandyLand]

The red represents strength and determination, and the dark blue represents stability and peace. The light blue diagonal strike represents that New Randyland needs both of these attributes in order to survive.

[Kedri]

The blue field represents both the nation's reliance on the sea as well as liberty. Kedrians see the sea and liberty as inherently linked.

The waves, well, represent waves. The ship represents Kedri's maritime history. The Star stands for greatness of the country. Yellow represents the country's wealth and prosperity. The white is for peace.

[Britannic New England]

The flag of New England is known as the Jack and Stars. The Union Jack in the upper left corner represents our status as a British Dominion and our history with the United Kingdom. The 12 white stars represent the 12 provinces that makeup New England
