Our flag depicts a rising sun over the Pacific Ocean, representing the Click Ests Vimgalevytopian Revolution and its subsequent breakoff from Jasua, resulting in a new dawn.

[Tangatarehua]

Black, white and ochre red are traditional Maori colours, while the emblem represents the constellation Orion as viewed from the southern hemisphere. The star at the top is Puanga (daughter of Rehua) from whom the imperial lines are said to have descended.

At the time that the flag was adopted (in the 1870s), the colours were also an oblique reference to Tangatarehua's alliance with Imperial Germany, with the chosen colours deliberately eschewing the blue red and white of Britain and France, who at the time were considered Tangatarehua's main enemy. However this detail is largely considered irrelevant today.

I basically constructed a flag out of symbols that represent communist oppression, as that is the main role of the Serdtgyuan government, and the MMXXII represents the founding in 2022.

[Aurevbush]

Original design from Interior Secretary Thomas Natborough under then President Adam Watkins in 201 ALA as a simple red saltire on a white background similar to that of the Kingdom Flag, but then added some bolder and darker shades of blue and green to represent Aurevbush's new set of ideals (peace, freedom, and justice) for its bicentennial. The blue represents the big beautiful sky, freedom and perseverance,

[Guild Commonwealth]

Black: The darkness of the chaotic multiverse.
White: Light of hope and security for all sapient life.
Three "triangles":the alliance of the Guild Commonwealth, SCP Foundation, and League of Homeworlds.

[Socialist Gestachia]

Blue Star: An important symbol in Gestachia, symbolizes guidance, protection and knowledge. The Red Workers' Party of Gestachia states that it also serves as a analogue to the traditional Red Star, thus its symbolism also applies.

Red Background: Symbolizes the blood shed in the revolution.

Gold Square: Symbolizes the prosperity of the proletariat.

The Terrapacisian flag is a slightly modified variant on the bisected flag commonly used by anarchist and libertarian socialist movements, which reflects the ideals that our nation was founded upon.

The red symbolizes the ideals of leftism and socialism.

The black symbolizes both anarchism and the various anarchist movements that worked alongside other anti-authoritarian leftist movements both during and before the Terrapacisian Civil War that led to the establishment of the Socialist Federation of Terrapacis.

The six stars symbolize the six provinces, with each star being equal in both size and distance from each other to further symbolize that no province outranks another.

[Viviente]

The flag is a simple demonstration of dedication to the Fourth International Posadist, visually signalling a dedication to military-based liberation and embracing the nuclear apocalypse as the necessary prerequisite to build true socialism.

[Lehpuhrta]

The upper half is a representation of the beautiful domed buildings of Lehpuhrta Kaglakh, the lower half is a representation of the inverted mountainous underside of our flying island. Yellow is the colour that our bananætherium bedrock glows while keeping the island aloft. The Chronal Shift Initiator - the artefact that moves Lehpuhrta through space and time - emits great bolts of purple lightning when activated and thus is represented by the central charge. The field of midnight blue simply represents the skies through which we travel.

The Colors: The Blue is the Corgish sky, and the white is the fluffy clouds painted on the endless horizons.

The Symbols: The Thorn is the symbol of the house of Saxe-Fhinthair, which is the ruling Royal family of Corgai. It is also common throughout Corgai as the national plant. The white border is what was (in legend) painted on the shield of the folk hero Chuchulainn as he held back the flooding waters of Lake Loirhan.

[Free Transhumanists]

The context: I'm a far future era (really far future) nation, so there is a lot of things that might feel distant.

1. Color: Yellow representing the industrious spirit and prosperity; Blue representing freedom. They should be equally balanced in a "dance" of free prosperity of the individual.
2. Stripes: There are two stripes on the right - that is because current system was reinstalled the second time. It wasn't revolution, rather a consensual decision to go back in the reforms to the times where system worked and didn't face political gridlock.
3. The stars: There are 13 stars. As a far future nation this state is a community of 13 distinctive worlds of different cultures, interest groups and even different biological sentient life forms.
4. The symbol in the middle - the symbol in the middle is trigram "then", originally taoist symbol for a storm and radical change (here interpreted as progress), it is a symbol of far future era theocratic order that worships technology and human (or more precisely - sentient) ability to invent and think.

That is a story my flag is telling.

The blue represents the peace of our country (it is darker than it used to be because we are becoming more authoritarian), and the wreath and circle of eight stars represent the unity of Daphomir. The sun in the middle represents the nation's stunning sunsets.

The red background represents the blood of the heroes, warriors, knights and soldiers that died making it
The black crown represents the king, and the line underneath represents the people (there is a small reference to chess here, as to how the white always starts in a chess game, our nation only attacks when attacked first, and when we attack back, we don't stop until the desired amount of damage has been done and taken)
The black border on the bottom represents the uncertain future ahead, presumably filled with more wars and dark secrets

[Valujo]

Since gaining independence in 1971, Valujo adopted two colors commonly found in flags across Oceania: blue and yellow. Additionally, these colors symbolize the historical influences of the former colonial powers that dominated Valujo, including Spain, France, and Britain.

It's flag of a period when my country was developing itself and people were trying to make the country as democratic as possible, during the 19th century. It was proposal, for a people's flag of my state, but they didn't accept it.

So, I use it, as a way of expressing my political views.

Each of the three stripes on the flag has its own unique meaning:

• Red denotes the courage and the blood of our ancestors that link Magellanians;
• White represents the peace and prosperity we desire in the present;
• and Black represents the defeat of foreign tyranny

The seal on our flag is the "Harpy-over-the-World", a nationalistic symbol of the country. The Harpy Eagle is the largest bird of prey found in Magellanian territory and is the country's national animal. The Harpy-over-the-World features a harpy eagle holding an armillary sphere. The armillary sphere symbolizes knowledge; the image that the Harpy-over-the-World seeks to evoke is one of "knowledge is power".

[Kyorlui]

Kyorlui's current flag was adopted in 1796, replacing the long-standing 'Imperial Crest' that was waved since antiquity. Greatly inspired from the resurgence in art culture in Kyorlui during the latter half of the 18th century, it depicts the Sronyal, a once critically endangered species descended from junglefowl that was the main design of the old Imperial Crest, in red, white, and black hues leaping into the vast unknown, a trail of fiery ambition being left in its wake. The 11 feathers in its plumage symbolize the 11 Great Emperors who, in short succession of each other, expanded Kyorlui's territory tenfold. The red symbolizes the ambition, determination, and shared bloodshed/labor of the people, the black and white inside of the Sronyal symbolizing the historic colors of the Imperial Family, and the black outside of the Sronyal symbolizes injustice that must be surmounted and the challenge of the future. It is very much a product of its time, with its motifs and symbolism being very typical of the Old Nationalist artwork of its time period. But, the flowing and dynamic portrait of the Sronyal has very much stood the test of time, setting it apart from most other national flags in the world.

The Tricolor: The tricolored banner serves as the basis for the Aurensian flag, using the traditional colors of red, white, and blue which were typically found throughout the heraldry and symbolism of the Aurensian Republics. Blue symbolizes liberty. White symbolizes justice and moral clarity. Red symbolizes the blood of patriots and tyrants spilled to make the other two possible. White is intersected between the two colors as necessary guardian for one to not devolve into the other which is directly reflective of the national motto: Liberty or Death!

The Stars: Each star symbolizes a Commonwealth bound into union within the Aurensian Confederation. They are arranged equidistant and equally sized as no Commonwealth within Aurensia should be elevated above another.

The Scale: The scale is more of an addition to the meaning of the white in the tricolor than something imposed upon it. The scale is symbolically equalized in order to showcase the equality and is itself a symbol of justice and virtue by which a free society is laid upon.

The lavender in the centre is our national flower, and is used in many indigenous rituals and traditions. It is accompanied by blue, to represent our abundance of lakes and to ease the purple colour on the eyes. The blue torches on the purple is to represent the "flag and flame" concept once again found in our indigenous practices - the idea that one's self is made up of a flag and a flame - and as such represents freedom and self worth in our people and as a nation.
