My last major civil war was the Holy War (1230 A.D-1936 A.D) and was between the Republic of Mountainese and the Empire of Bala Mantre.
It was ended after we invented nukes and threatened to fire one at them.

Our last civil war was between the Capitalist , fascist, and globalists versus the nationalistic communists (the current government) in our region. It ended in 1981. We are still recovering from the damage to infrastructure and the economy.

Our last major civil war was from 1861 to 1874. It began upon the ascension of Frederick IX. At the time, Frederick was seen as a disappointment due to his inability to measure up to his father, Frederick the Beloved, often considered one of the greatest monarchs in Carrelian history. Only two months into his reign, he was deposed in a coup by the army, and Anilis Ifynmarsh was declared emperor, taking the regnal name Frederick X. However, Frederick was aging, and died within the year, only to be succeeded by his son William II as emperor. At this point, the Haufenburg candidate, the future Frederick XI, was gathering armies. Many skirmishes happened, the most major of which being in the port city of Moltevarg in 1871, which destroyed half of the city. During this battle, William was killed, and the Lords Council elected Frederick to take his place. By all means, this should have been the end of things, but it wasn't. A new threat appeared by the name of Mary of Dentricia, the daughter of William. She began raising armies and clashed directly with Frederick in 1872 at Marsbranech near the city of Haufenburg, a battle she won. Soon after, however, the tables turned. The army of Frederick XI absolutely massacred Mary's army, with only Mary and 4 other soldiers escaping. For the next year, Mary resided in France out of fear. Upon her return, she managed to negotiate the a treaty, the Treaty of Moltevarg. This was signed in 1874, bringing almost 13 years of bloody conflict to an end.

Of course, I could've done about the War of the Carrelian Succession, but that was more of an international war than a civil one.

Countesia has a violent history of infighting when the counties were separate political entities, however there has not been a civil war since the Countesian Unification thanks to a strong sense of national pride, economic growth and competent leadership. The closest one can get to a civil war in Countesian history was when 2009 Economic Recession eventually boiled over into the Countesian Revolution when the entire country erupted into violent protest when its monarch attempted to abolish parliament. Although it has been referred to as a civil war by many a historian, only 12 lives were lost during the entire ordeal.

The last civil war of Destyntine began in 853 AD. Destyntine, formerly knows as the Kingdom of Wulfgar, was planning on capturing the land owned by a large clan in the region of Northern Sweden.

King Björn Wulfgar and Princess Ästa were leading a direct charge into the lands of King Yxfödd under the cover of a fog surrounding the bordering mountains. It took two weeks to prepare and rally the clansmen to the north where Yxfödd's flags arranged the border, although few clansmen from previously captured neighboring lands supported this war due to mistrust among Björn's intentions and decided to either not participate or join on Yxfödd's side, making this fight even tougher. After preparation and a large feast, Björn sounded the horn and leaded the clansmen into battle on horseback. Yxfödd's men were caught off guard, allowing for easy pickings from the first few nearby villages over the first month. Yxfödd decided to return the offensive, causing a massive clash miles in from the border. During this large fight, Björn was shot twice in the torso with arrows and his horse was killed. Björn kept fighting despite his injuries, leading to his death after taking a spear to the abdomen the next day. Princess Ästa took leadership after the death of her father and finished uniting the rest of Sweden after King Yxfödd was reported dead following another week of fighting. The civil war lasted a total of 102 days.

The Kingdom has never had another civil war between Swedish Nords since the end of the civil war in 854 AD. All of Sweden belonged to the Kingdom of Wulfgar. This allowed for the conquest of the outer Nordic lands soon after, to unite all Nordic clans under the Kingdom.

Our most recent civil war occurred 20 years ago in the 2320's, when the Yorkshire Combined Territories were having constant aggressive disagreements with the government of New Mercia.

The war eventually came to an end in December 2325, when the current Granthamian regime overseen by Mecha-Margaret took over the warring territories and united them all into a single nation.

Our last civil war was the was the 23-year Langenian Civil War from 1919 to 1949 (excluding the 7 years from 1938 to 1945 when Langenians agreed to temporarily end their differences and fight together against the Argentinians and Axis).

The one and only civil war to happen so far was the "20 Year Darkness", which lasted for 20 years somewhere in the Medieval Era. It was between a fractured rebellion that overthrew a dictatorship. John Smith led the Smithsonite Faction, while Harry Norton (later Norton I) led the Nortonians. The former came out on top, and Norton was exiled for 26 years until the New Republic was desolated in the wake of the Goldmanian-American War.

The Civil War called "The Revolution against Reaction" was a period between 2013-2019 being the most relevant and one of the most recent in its history

The Civil War was the result of the liberal policies introduced in 2013 oriented to the free market that brought negative results for the population that came to affect the stability and political integrity of the nation as it clashed with the socialist ideology.
At the beginning, various protests were generated but over the months, accompanied by a serious crisis and the increase in poverty, crime and disagreement with the Government, the movements became more aggressive towards the Government when the protests became violent and multiple strikes and riots ravaged the country over the next 5 years.

In 2017, the Government could be revoked and a new regime was installed that would eliminate all those policies that generated this conflict, however in the same year, Anentova entered the war against the Coalition in what would be called the Lake War.

In 2018, due to the weakness and lack of organization for the new regime in Anentova, it declares its surrender.
Between the terms of peace, Anentova loses around 50% of its territory and it establishes a new government in favor of the interests of the winners, who once again implement the same policies of market liberation.

The population continues their struggle to improve their situation and wanting to reclaim their old quality of life, they constantly face against the imposed government, generating more human losses and material damage.
Given the enormous opposition of the government where even the local armed forces declared to be in favor of the population, a bloody battle is unleashed where despite the losses and defeats received, the popular side wins the war by expelling this government and establishing its own, regaining its power at the end of 2019.

The current year is 2020, and the nation has regained its pre-war stability.
The fear for the establishment of a new regime no longer exists with the radical transformation made by its new government, where the people now have greater control over the affairs of the nation.

October 1944-April 1947.
Between the Democratic government + Moscow puppet communists supported by the UK and the USA vs the radical anarcosindicalist and troskist communists.

The Monarchy supported with support of the most reactionary elements of the Society a profascist coup in 1923. There was a stong contestation to the facist Berenguer dictatorship and last and his cronies king corruption.
The monarchy was overthrown by a coup by antifacist elements in the military led by Marshall Jofré and General Macià in the 1926 coup.. As result there was a return to Democracy. We joined the allies in WW2 and We were occupied by Germany that put a puppet fascist regime and restored the monarchy. As, the King had seemed refugee in Italy after being toppled.
The bulk of the Government settled in London and got support of most of the evacuated military. And an various internal resistance group were created.
The royalists and the GiE in the period 1941-1943 disputed the control of the overseas colonies. During 1942-1944. We're the first clashes between the GiE and the radical revolutionary left in the already freed Balearics. And, direct fight between the Free Catalan Forces supported by the Allies and the Royalist forces in the western Mediterranian and Italian front.
And, a threeway fight between the radical and moderate resistance among them and the fascist collaborationists.
In summer 1944 the fascist regime collapsed as the country was liberated by the Allies. With active support of a general uprising. German troop withdrawal created a vacuum of power that was used by FAI, POUM and the UGP to start a red/black terror.

There were again armed clashes between the Free Catalan Forces and guerrillas loyal to the GiE and the FAI the largest and more radical resistance element. As, the CNT/FAI and their POUM troskists and UGT allies tried to start a revolution. While the Government in Exile wanted to restore the Country, rebuilt their legitimacy, rebuilt their institutions and contribute to the allied war effort.

Calls were made to include the former resistance to regular forces and disarm the resistance. Also some former collaborationist and police forces except the banned facists organizations were invited to pledge loyalty to the new Government and maintain order until replaced by the new army and police.
Also those organizations were called to be integrated into a unified provisional Government until elections could be held.

Tensions were high as the Government tried to stop radical elements. By October 1944 the radical elements were expelled of the Government and their militias ordered to surrender their arms and an state of emergency was declared.
During 1944 the Government was in the defensive.

A civil war started openly.
During 1945 the Government regular forces incremented by both exroyal armed forces and police (removing fascists from their command structure.) more the former moderate resistance groups as the mainstream communist PSUC and the more conservative FNC. Formed the ENC The national army. That expanded the areas under Government Control. It Was trained and equipped by the western allies, as the army increased their operations aided by increased firepower, naval fire and Air cover forced the FAI/POUM to go into guerrilla war.
Also forces that at the moment were under British command were handled to the Catalan Government. As the 9th troop/X commando or 6th SAS.
The Government started the Guarner plan.
The Government smashed the radical forces in a area with combination of firepower and mobility. The mobile groups were replaced by line of communication troops. The new national government started rebuilding the Government and the security forces and started expanding the areas under Government control, securing disputed areas and restoring order. Supported by the allies and the use of mobile groups in clean and secure operations. To stranggle the radicals and force them inside their strongholds. As result of the successful 1945 offensives. the army and police helped the restauration of an effective working government in areas under governmental control. Also rebuilding infreastructure and a progressive and systematic cleaning of the radical's support.
Meanwhile mobile groups were held in reserve to avoid rebel come back. And, once rebuilt launched another offensive.
Also, population of areas controlled by rebels was moved into protected areas (with carrot and stick system). From 1946 the radicals were forced to a guerrilla war and had lost most of their safe havens and were in the run. Also the rebels alienated many supports as they still had to increasingly use terror against the civilian population. While internal dissent grew as their leadership had grown more worried of delations.
By April 1947 the organized radical opposition was crushed. Also the USA sponsored Government coalition won the 1947 elections sending the communist to the opposition seats.

The Government received support from Marshall plan and Joined both NATO, OEEC and ECSA and then EEC. With the economic boom of the late 40s the mainstream communist electoral support decreased.

There was some armed opposition by the radical left until 1956 but with a strong government that had support of most of the population it was more a nuisance than a threat for the stability.

By the 1950's Hermosamente was facing political turmoil. Decades of Socialist rule brought further instability in the nation, the assassination of the 4th former Hermosan President Abram Sarmiento in 1952 signified that the Democratic Socialist government could no longer survive by the decade. The oldest political party "Patriotic State Party" now led by Gen. Navarro resurfaced and began their major revolt against the Socialist regime, all of them were imprisoned. However, a major nation-wide protest broke loose among the populace. They stormed the the nation's largest prison the Santa Maria Prison and freed everyone including Navarro and his companions. On March 16, 1954 the civil war has began.

Most of the Military sided with the right wing Patriots, with the Patriots having one-eight of the army, the Socialists lacked people specializing in strategy and military expertise, they formed their own militia instead. The capital San Pedro was engulfed in flames during the entirety of the civil war, Gen. Navarro failed to take down San Pedro so he ordered a private jet to relocate to the northern provinces. Most of the provinces are slowly going under Patriot forces, the leftist faction was now divided among themselves. Ideological differences of the left were conflicting and began pointing guns at each other by 1956. Due to the numerous support of the Patriotic State Party and the conflicting factions of the left, the Socialist regime's defeat was imminent. The Socialist regime and its leftist ex-allied factions fell by November 24, 1957. And with that, the Patriots won. The Patriotic State Party abandoned their democratic values and switched to a benevolent-style right-wing authoritarian regime that still exists today.

Angevinia-Europa has never been in a state of civil war, though she has faced significant rebellions in the colonies. Local Muhammetans of the colony of Kathiawar - one of four on the Indian subcontinent - revolted against the colonial government with the intent to establish an independent Muhammetan Sultanate of Kathiawar. They were not supported by even a majority of their own folk, and were crushed by forces loyal to the Emperor after the two-year campaign ended in November 1865.

Technically the last time Mafarka fought a Civil War was during the "Last Merchant's Rebellion" when the Shudra and Vaishna (supported by some Kshatriyans and Brahmin) rose up in reaction to the end of Capitalism. After that, the lower classes were uploaded into "ports" and live in eternal peace befitting their lower natures. Otherwise the frequent conflicts between members of the military themselves and the prefectures could be considered "Civil Wars" but are justified in the eyes of the state.

When the soviet union fell, the fallout lead to a number of communist countries splitting up around the world and their subsequent Balkanization such as in Eastern Europe, and so concurrently the Manokan isles have various sectarian conflicts, with the initial Manokan government forming from a major civil war in the region, from the previous regions. As of now, the communists currently are a part of a very well organized terrorist group, who do not technically have control over any territory but hide out in the dense jungles and islands, who desperately want to overthrow the current government and take over.

It was initiated by the Olwean Emperor’s apprentice at the time, who changed his name to Aratar (Elvish for “exalted”) and falsely proclaimed himself the rightful Emperor, forming the terrorist organization Karn Evil Nine to wage war against the legitimate government. The war ended when Aratar and his disciples were successfully driven out of Olwean territory into unknown space, forming their own nation.

The last major civil war in Radiatia was the one that founded the nation - the Third Radiatian Civil War, also known as the Black and Gold Revolution.

The war ultimately saw pro-democracy forces, led by Traiyan Silviu, oust the communist regime and lead to the democratisation of the Radiatia and collapse of the Radiatian People's Socialist Union.

The last civil war in Gankands started in 2013 (non-Gankandsian calendar year) and ended just months ago. It was between the vastly outnumbered and outgunned monarchist Purple Army and Republican Army (Gankansian Army). Had the current King of Gankands not been a strategic genius, the claims of the republic saying the war was going to be at most a single year war were guaranteed to be correct. The republic began to crumble. The entire existence of the republic yielded a far lower economic average than the Old Kingdom of Gankands (500 AD to 1918 AD). Corruption ran rampant to the point the republic was a republic in only name. Calls of voter suppression and fraud ran rampant until in the late 1990s when those with those words in their mouths were traitors and treated as such. Infrastructure went downhill fast in the 90s. Need I say more of this reign of terror? The King was not a noble. Those were exterminated immediately at the start of the new Republic (claiming freedom and liberty for all). The King was an ordinary citizen who was a member of the only-half-legal Ultranationalist Party from 2000 to 2010. He was kicked out of the ultranationalist party for being too reactionary, but he was a popular person attracting attention. When he was kicked out of the party, many former members followed. His message of a return to the golden ages of the kingdom rang easily into the ears of the public. The last straw came when the leaders of the republic, fearing he was growing to popular, signed his death warrant for a list of charges including verbatim "any action that the Republic chooses." Shortly after the newly formed Purple Army (formed by the King's followers after hearing of the warrant) fired the first shots in 2013. For a couple years, the republic was winning. Then, the Battle of Sadler Mountain happened in Northeast Gankands. The war halted to a stalemate. This lasted for two-three years. The war turned in the Purple Army's favor when several disgruntled citizens assassinated the Supreme General, the President, and the Minister of Gankandsian Media (Call them the Minister of Propaganda. That's more truthful.). That was the start of the end, and by the end of the next year, the war was over. The leaders of the republic either fled or were executed. Massive changes by the new absolutist king were undertaken. Gankands has recovered from the Republic and is, at the time of writing, boasting an economy worth 53.8 trillion Gankandsian Pounds. That is a value that neither the old kingdom nor the republic ever saw an equivolent of. The king did that in just a few months. Is it any wonder that the terms fanatical, cult of personality, and ultranationalist have become common in Gankandsian political lexicon and taken on a more positive connotation?

The Yarmakan Conflict (2004-2008) was a civil war in the Kheshig Khanate between the central government and the supervisory council of the Yarmakan Autonomous District. Under the guise of the War on Terror, the government received internationally aid to dismantle the autonomy of the mineral rich region that had been a thron in the governments side since 1979.

1789. Baydorian Empire was controlled form the city of Kinggrad ever since 1532. By the 1700's the city and the country were controlled by the Hapsular family but in reality the empire acted as a confederation of Emerates and principalities dominated by the Hapsulars. The kingdom of Bayton had been expanding its control over the other kingdom in Baydor and tried to unify the nation properly under their control. In 1789 the death of the Haspular monarch left a power vacuum the kingdom used the opportunity to take control. By 1796 the war was over and the kingdom of Bayton declared its self the Baydorian kingdom. It's victory over Kinggrad showed the transfer of power from the central parts of Baydor to the trading city's of the southern coast. The war would be the start of nationalism in Baydor what in the 19th and early 20th centuriers would result in Baydor engaging in wars to reunite the Baydorian speaking people with their home land.
