Species Name: Sentient Turtles or Tortoises
Species Average Lifespan: Anywhere from 60 to 250
Species Description: Have you ever seen a turtle or tortoise? If so, you have seen the turtles of TurtleShroom. The one difference is their intelligence and more human like behaviors, although they do not have any anthromorphistic appearences. Some wear little spectacles or other headgear and necklaces. Any type of turtle or tortoise can be a Sentient, but Sentients are tradionally larger than non-sentients of their species.
Mathematics Score: 5
Languages Score: 6
Logic Score: 7 (they are suprisingly good at government, even if they are slow)
Physical Strength: ranges from 1 to 7 (varies by species)
Species Name: Sentient Mushrooms
Species Average Lifespan: Forty to one hundred ten years (in RL, the fruiting body/reproductive structure of a mushroom lasts days or hours, but the actual mushroom structure that is underground can go for centuries)
Species Description:
Note, though, that the mushroom you see is not a TS resident, rather, an example from another storyline and website altogether.
Mathematics Score (out of 10, human average is 5): 7 (they are very good at building weapns and such)
Languages Score (out of 10, human average is 5): 3 (the horrible accents and mispronunciations of nuclear come more from mushrooms, though they speak fluent English)
Logic Score (out of 10, human average is 5): 8 (mushrooms are extremely efficient at government)
Physical Strength (out of 10, human average is 5): 1 (telekenisis can only do so much)

Sentient Mushrooms are an original TurtleShroom Production. I had them before you even typed in "www.nationstates.net" for the first time. I had them before they were cool. Not that they're cool now...
