Outside of Lusophone South America, the Piratinese people are seen as hospitable, generous, and sincere, but they also can be rude and haughty. There is also a stereotype that the Piratinese tends to be traditionalist, which is true to an extent. Both men and women are perceived as hot by South Americans and Westerners alike, and racial fetish plays a role in both occasions: South Americans think that all Piratinese are fair-skinned, while Americans and Europeans think all Piratinese are brown and fit.

Some anglophone Western countries seem to have completely opposite stereotypes of our nation. They believe that Lancov is a poorly-developed, corrupt nation with a low literacy rate. We blame their atrocious educational systems for these fantasies. The stereotype about us being uncouth drunks is often fair, however.

Much of the population is well-off, with all of us speaking in a sophisticated french-like accent. • Everyone is feminized (This is true for the most part. Women are extremely feminine. Many aspects of the culture are directed towards a feminine behavior. It is not abnormal for many men to act feminine as well.)
• Everyone is a cyborg (False. The number of bionic citizens are in the minority. Although it is not uncommon to see people with cybernetic enhancements, not everyone has them.)
