What nations would appear if your Nation broke up?

Simply put, the 12 states would most likely become individual nation-states (Victoria, New South Wales, Riverina, New England, Queensland, Capricornia, Northern Australia, Western Australia, Southern Australia, Gambier, Tasmania, and New Zealand).

As for the territories, the Capital Territory (Canberra) would either remain a city-state or, more likely, rejoin with New South Wales - maybe there's an off-chance they'd become an exclave of Victoria instead. Central Australia would likely just be carved up and returned to its former states, and the Oceanic likely would split into the present-day nations within it (Fiji, Vanuatu, etc...) or remain united as a rump-federation.

Indonesia would likely take the opportunity to decisively annex New Guinea.

There are four countries that would most likely appear and remain independent (England, France, Luxembourg and Wales), one that would probably appear and remain independent (Wallonia), and two that might appear and remain independent (Andorra and Monaco).

There is the possibility that Wallonia would split into French Wallonia and German Wallonia, both of which would probably join France and Germany respectively. There is also the possibility that the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands would both become independent countries, but the Isle of Man would likely become part of England while the Channel Islands would join France. Another possibility is that Flanders would join the Netherlands.

The only one of these that has any independence movement is the former Confederacy, however this is a very small underground movement affiliated with the Democratic party, which is a minor unregistered party, with barely any real support remaining.
