The Coripies of Amiocap, also called "The Buried People" by some, are perhaps the most gruesome race to have evolved within Pellucidar. They are an underground race native to the island of Amiocap, apparently descended from surface dwellers. Though humanoid in form, they lack any discernible facial features. They are totally blind, and skin covers their eyes, which roll grotesquely beneath the covering membrane. They have heavy fangs and webbed talons, with which they tear apart their prey. This usually consists of cave fish, toads and lizards, but they relish the flesh of other warm-bloods as a break from this.

The Gorbuses are a human-like race with white hair, milky-white skin, and large pink eyes with red albino pupils. They also sport tusk-like fangs which curve up from their lower jaws. They are a cannibalistic race who inhabit the Forest of Death. It is because of the Gorbuses that the forest bears this name, as they capture any humans who venture within. The Gorbuses also share some mysterious tie with the surface-world. They suffer from visions of a previous life in which they have all killed something, and have fleeting visions that could only pertain to life outside Pellucidar - legend has it that they are resurrected surface-world serial killers that are confined here as their punishment.

We don't consider it creepy, but other peoples have been bewildered by the fact that Lavendo men reproduce together.

While slavery is illegal in modern Lavendo, our collective memory of slavery is not as negative as in other cultures.

The above fact becomes creepy, again according to other cultures, because Lavendo slavery was virtually entirely for the purposes of ... pleasure.

It was mainly a thing as traditional cigarettes and cigars were banned in public spaces and even with laws banning vape/e-cigs in public spaces and prohibiting the distribution and sale of these devices.

The Island of Wachinsia was once the capital island of the Crimson Empire in antiquity, being the place where the native Wachinsians had come from. It was still relatively populous until the 1950s, when a Nuclear power plant was erected in the island, however in 1964 the plant would have a meltdown, and the entire island would be rendered uninhabitable. The weirdest thing is that many of the doors and hallways leading to the control room were damaged as if something large and of immense strength had blown through the place, and conspiracy theories have come out that the whole incident was caused by a "Wachinsian Devil", a large, terrifying humanoid creature that has been part of the Native religions (similar to myths such as the wendigo and thunderbird" that has large arms that it uses to move around as well as being, however there is no real true proof of this, much like many myths, and the damage could have just been caused by the explosion itself which could have caused the deformations.

Regardless of that, going to the island is still relatively creepy today, as the only inhabitants now are Crimson Troops in full hazmat gear (think of the cut combine snipers from half life) that rarely speak to non troops, and can be seen just watching from afar or wandering around, saying nothing. They have been stationed there to make sure civilians don't wander into the area.


There's also a heavily religious cult active in Copper Ridge as well, who have become normalized to the point where the citizens will literally lie to the government about it so they aren't attacked and dismantled, as well as to the point that they now act as sort of the police in the area, and have also been known for forcefully abducting and indoctrinating people as well, which has lead to the government keeping a keen eye on them.

Anyways, Jilia would often experiment on their Slaves and Prisoners of War with Biological and Chemical weapons to attempt to change their DNA, currently, all of them resulted in a deformed body where it cant see, hear, and smell, unable to move, and always in pain. "Failed Experiments" were often burned alive, with exceptions if an Experiment's condition was more better then the others. They would mostly confine the "Experiments" in cells and force them to eat Mushrooms, but, sometimes, the "Experiments" were forced to eat pure Radioactive Nuclear Barrels, these "Experiments," which is named "Radiational Subjects" almost instantly died. The goal of these Tests is to make a more stronger and smarter Human which will be useful for warfare.

A strange man in a hat with a suit and tie arrives to take the souls of the dead to an unknown place after a ritual sacrifice inside the factories. Officials do not know who he is and try their best to ignore him. He’s been referred to by locals as “The janitor” due to the sudden disappearance of the bodies and blood markings after he leaves. He often shows up behind people in the mirror and his presence of 3 knocks are enough to alert citizens of demise or tragedy. This thing only appeared after a brutal accident occurred in which the boilers blew up a large portion of Industrial District 13. Some say he’s a saint, others a demon.

Another thing is the underbelly of Senscaria. It’s a large area with winding maintenance tunnels and derelict manufacturing facilities that are able to stretch down miles underneath the city. They were built as a response to nuclear threats (this is where the park basements of GlaggleLand are mentioned). However, those who get lost end up missing and eventually their bodies appear fused to the walls of the mechanical underbelly. As such a classroom of 20 children and 3 adults were finally able to be found, but their bodies and belongings fused to the walls and floor after an investigation into a clogged conveyor way revealed the extent of damages.
“It was like they melted into the conveyor itself. The computers and mechanical server systems all had their faces imprinted into the circuits. I looked at the wall, and found a vent that was sealed shut. I opened it, and I saw the rivets had their eyes fused into the walls of the vent. It smelled of rotting flesh. God knows how many poor souls are still trapped and fused into the wretched halls of Senscaria.” Some claim to hear breathing behind them and nobody is there, and others see an amalgamation of body and machine parts scuttling throughout the facilities. It has been noted that body shafts leading to the industrial blenders that have been clogged often showcase more of these traits like in the school trip incident.

The Squad sees all of their citizens 24/7, and when I mean all, I mean ALL, except the Leader obviously, all are seing in all momments, there are microphones integrated in their bodies that facilitates the proccess of surveilance, cameras are everywhere, in almost all bunkers (yes, cities are underground) there are 1000 members of the Scarlet Guard seeking to no one go out of their bunker, waiting the moment where all is going to make a great bum and the universe will be purified. All the cities belong to the Red Skull in the sky which takes citizens (which are all are trained after there has passed 30 minutes they're bodies are finished of being constructed) randomly and gives them a "especiall training" to make them one with their steel and be ready to fight in the front.
