Security staff raced to review the footage, but there were only three keys to the room-- two janitors each had one, and the third was in the security room. The video revealed that both Janitors were at a staff meeting the entire time (the keys were clearly visible on their keyrings), and the third was undisturbed in the security room, also under video. Additionally, video evidence showed no one in the hallway (or, even in that part of the building) anytime that the ashes were in the room. The lock was checked for signs of tampering, and the room was checked for trap doors-- nothing suspicious was found.

However, over the years, various government officials have mysteriously disappeared.
