A lot of abandoned houses have been disappearing lately.

Most people know about the Three Gates, the mysterious portals built into Argathir Mountain around which Gateway (our capital city) is built - they are portals leading directly to advanced cities under new skies, from which we have derived our wealth, knowledge & technology. However, few know about the Fourth Gate, which is hidden within the caves below Golbrith Tower. Nobody knows what lies beyond this portal, as nobody ever returns. In more recent years, attempts to explore have been made by drone, but contact is always lost immediately after crossing

Our Palace grounds were built atop an ancient prison for the seditionists, torture was rampant w no rules for the guards. The prison fell out of use due to better technology and was razed.

The Tomb of the Wizard

A cultural hertiage site, it's the burial site of Demotek's earliest known leader, who's title is roughly translated as "Lord of Miracles." Little is known about him though first records appeared when he was 13 and then dying at the age of 31 from unknown causes though he implemented many of the early practices that served foundational.

In the last week of the Dalmannian Civil War, a mysterious event occurred which still inspires late night History Channel documentaries and drives discussion amongst alien conspiracy theorists to this day.

On Sunday June 2nd, 1991, the Monarchial-Republican Alliance is closing in on the last holdout of the ultranationalist Hammersfire faction: the city of Slokovija in northeastern Dalmannia. The fighting between the Alliance and the Hammersfire has been intense to this point, and the cost of life expected in order to take Slokovija is staggering. The Alliance military halts its advance, keeping a perimeter a few miles away from Hammersfire entrenchments at the outskirts of the city. Surviving Hammersfire veterans recall that as night fell, a ground-shaking rumbling could be heard in the distance. As the forces braced for an artillery bombardment, none came. Instead, as one witness recalled, “We had braved the machine gun fire of the enemy and precision air strikes of those bombers we could not see. We thought we had seen every terror war could offer — we were very hardened and zealous soldiers. Then, on that night June the second, from off in the distance these massive dagger shaped shadows emerged from the clouds above us. I did not believe it was real until they started raining death from their canons on the underside hull. We attacked those things with every weapon we had—tanks, missiles, howitzers, aircraft—but they simply couldn’t be stopped. A few of us stayed and died, but the rest of us on the front line ran that day.” The craft disappeared before daybreak could fully reveal them. There are only two known images of the event, titled “Chimäre” and “Eklipse”, in which dagger shaped objects can be seen apparently projecting balls of fire upon enemy positions on the outskirts of Slokovija. A third image is rumored to exist, dubbed “Executor”, of another large object spotted, but nobody has seen it and there is no evidence that the picture was ever taken.



Today, it is commonly accepted that this event was a successful psychological warfare operation cleverly conducted by the Alliance military, the brainchild of Supreme Allied Commander Victor Rasselkopf. Inspired by a particular science fiction franchise, Commander Rasselkopf dubbed the operation “Operation Sternenzerstörer”. Declassified documents on the operation reveal that artillery bombardment and three heavy airstrike groups: “Chimäre”, “Eklipse” and “Executor” (labeled as naval craft for confounding purposes in the event that this intelligence fell into enemy hands) were responsible for the devastation of Hammersfire positions. The two famous pictures which now circulate online chat rooms and communities of conspiracy theorists were doctored by the Alliance military, and distributed through spies to enemy command to spread fear. Despite this, a few Hammersfire survivors of the Siege of Slokovija maintain their stories to this day, and conspiracy theorists believe that there is a top-secret underground military facility known as Hangar 18 somewhere in the lowlands of Dalmannia which houses gargantuan interstellar war vessels.

Is said the government sprays the region with agent orange although it has not been proven.

I do not know if it is creepy exactly, but witchcraft still is a capital crime in Deacarsia.
