VERY CASUAL
Our King is actually an elected position, very similar to a President in other countries. They serve for 13-year terms, and they can have up to two terms. They function as the Head of State, working in trade deals and alliances and visiting other countries and having cultural festivals and just altogether being the face of Middle Barael. The current King is King Solomon, of the Union of Social Democrats party. He is very popular, and has visited many nations in his tenure, including Gandenia, Mowte, Malah, BEKM, Violant (now a Gandenian possession), Rivienland, the Free Lands of the Selkie, AHSCA, Ruinenlust, and Errinunderra.
