Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Following the abdication of the Heisei Emperor in 2019, thus ending the last monarchy on the planet, the United Socialist Federation of Sanghyeok has been in deliberation as to the new Era Name of this period. Though the name will ultimately be decided by referendum of the citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is interested in which Era Names receive the most positive perception from the multitudes of nations around this universe. The following, in ranked order are the most popular according to pre-referendum polls.

1. 万化ばんか　Banka, "Countless Changes"
2. 建平けんぺい Kenpei, "Creating Peace"
3. 仁治にんじ　Ninji, "Benevolent Rule", a previously used Era Name from the 12th century
4. 永咲えいさく Eisaku, "Eternal Bloom"
5. 令和れいわ Reiwa, "Beautiful Harmony" using what would have been the new Emperor's Era Name despite the abolishment of all monarchies
6. 元德げんとく Gentoku, "Origin of Virtue"
7. 建安けんあん Ken'an, "Creating Tranquility", a previously used Era name from the 3rd century
8. 建楽けんらく Kenraku, "Creating Happiness"
9. 延仁げんにん　En'nin, "Extending Benevolence"
10. 延和げんわ　Enwa, "Extending Harmony", previously used Era Name from the 8th century
11. 仁久にんじ　Ninji, "Everlasting Benevolence"
12. 長善ちょうぜん　Chozen, "Everlasting Kindness"
13. 咲来さくら Sakura, "Coming Bloom", but also the name of Chairwoman Oomiya
14. 平成へいせい　Heisei, "Reaching Peace" keeping the old Emperor's Era Name despite the abolishment of all monarchies
15. No Era name at all

"In light of your great victory over the world, honored elder, and the hope your rule carries with it, it is my feeling that Kenpei would be an apt name for this new era, if you must insist on naming it. It is a statement of your intent that would speak volumes, I feel. Patyughin prefers Kenraku, but Patyughin's an old romantic, so I generally find it best to ignore him."

With recent events between the Chairwoman and the Azurblaue Rozenschwestern, we would like to say that

8. 建楽けんらく Kenraku, "Creating Happiness"

or

12. 長善ちょうぜん　Chozen, "Everlasting Kindness"

seems to be a perfect name for the new era.

However, with the sunset of a final Empire of the Rising Sun and the bleak, uncultured landscape of a New World Order without beauty or decorum in government, our Oriental population recommends a better name:

沈黙, Chinmoku.

In light of these new developments the government of Thermodolian believes it best that no era name shall be selected due to the era’s themselves being tied to the monarchy. Since there is no need for the monarchy then there is no need for any era name.

#13, "Sakura" seems particularly fitting. Not only does it bring light to the hopeful vision of the future which Sanghyeok possesses, the final stage of communism and the "bloom" humanity will experience along with it, but also references the leader under which this was all achieved, giving her the respect and historical valour she deserves for her accomplishments.
