The question then becomes, how much does the intent matter? Comrade Mao once said something in the lines of 'those who side with us are revolutionary, those who oppose us are counter-revolutionary, those who are revolutionary in action are true revolutionaries, and those revolutionary without action are only revolutionaries by name.' So I think you can understand the complexity of the issue. Should a good idea which was executed poorly be judged for its potential, or its outcome? In other words, shall we praise the mille-crepe which fails, or the vanilla cake that succeeds? This is not easy for anyone to answer, even for someone who has my experience." Yet the situation in your country is rather hard to resolve. As I understand it...your country is one of four Great Powers in the world, and is in a constant state of tension with the others. In such an environment, many people indeed turn to what they perceive as a strong state that can protect them." "The answer, that I would advocate for is education. As we know, the pretenses of the capitalism system and the fallacies of the free market are all too apparent once one has read about its truths and analyzed well the criticism of it. In a similar way, spreading information on the false promises of the military industrial complex could lead to its unpopularity among the people, and change the situation.
