The Kingdom of Purpuria does not have a flag desecration law, or an official flag for that matter. However, the purple-gold-silver banner is used as a de facto flag and royal insignia. And while there's no punishment simply for burning it, if the burning is done as an anti-monarchist gesture, you could be executed for treason.

It is legal. There have been only a few cases in Kireina's whole history were a Kireinan burned the flag. You're more likely to see Kireinas flag, that mainly being its old flag, being burned abroad.
Most Kireinans would find it offensive when they see someone burning their flag, they wonder more about why the person is burning the flag or think they have a weird hobby of burning things. In short, a Kireinans thought process of seeing someone burning the flag would be "that's weird and rude, but you do you".

While flag desecration is no longer a punishable offense, burning the flags and symbols of enemy nations is a traditional form of war declaration in Oswesch (being used officially as recently as 1965) so you'll probably get side-eyed at the very least.

Flag desecration is considered a minor delict and now is no longer punished with prison sentence, is fined monetaryly and with community service. Now, It's considered part of the freedom of speech and some groups demand it's despenalization.

If it's yours, who cares? You're paying for it. Just don't burn a polyester one (if you somehow manage to find a polyester flag after the oil crisis), for the love of God, the air in the northwest contiguous is bad enough as it is. Is it going to net you any friends? Probably not unless you live in Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, or RIchmond, but it's not like anyone can stop you from doing what you want to your own inanimate property. There is no flag code, it's a bunch of pieces of cotton stitched together.

Now, if it's someone else's and you stole and burned it without their consent, that's a no-go, but that's a no-go because you stole something from someone and destroyed it, not because it's the flag.

While it is allowed to be done if you have ownership of the flag, burning flags on public property or property not under your control is considered trespassing and vandalism.

The resulting bounty and joint manhunt put an end to it.

It is fully legal, as long as the flag is yours (meaning you can’t burn a flag on a govt building), and as long as the fire doesn’t hurt or damage anyone/anything.

Protests in Middle Barael are usually very peaceful, and so nothing is burned usually (including flags), although whenever protests boil over into riots or mobs, people will surely be burning flags on the street.

Political demonstrations, as opposed to protests or riots, do often include flag burnings, especially Extinction Rebellion demonstrations or Racial Justice demonstrations. These are almost always peaceful, and usually revolve around civil disobedience or “making a show”, including stunts such as glueing/chaining themselves to government buildings and performing plays/demonstrations in the streets to achieve recognition.

Burning flags that belong to others, including flags in government buildings, is punished by a medium fine, as well as having to reimburse the person/government for the flag. Serial other-people’s-flag-burners can be punished with up to 2 months in a low-security prison.

The Republic of Seolsan does not allow flag desecration and is punishable by law (a fine will be imposed).
Moreover, due to Seolsanian laws, the material used to create the flag has been made to be fire-retardant.
Burning our national flag will be very dificult.

The burning of flags of enemy nations is not discouraged in anyway outside of it being looked down upon to start fires in public. Since the Nationalist Party came to power in 1990 it has been illegal to burn or deface a Pyganian flag. It is a crime punishable by a one-week jail term. Since flag-burners are looked down upon by society and especially the police force, they are routinely beaten when found to be in commission of the crime, with their week-long jail sentence serving as an opportunity for them to heal up.

There is no prosecution for flag burning as long as it’s your flag. This falls under the category of peaceful protest and free speech, and is thus protected by law.

With these protections, flag burning is still quite rare as most people are satisfied with the government.

People rarely even identify with the national flag, which was only created in 1447 by combining elements from the constituents' flags. People generally fly the banner of whatever country speaks the same language they do. So if someone burned the national flag, it wouldn't be seen as a huge deal.

Completely legal if it's your own property. Obviously burning someone else's flag would be criminal damage/vandalism/destruction of property/arson.
