The primary infantry rifle is the KPR, or Kalashnikov Pattern Rifle. The most common two are the KPR-7.62 and the KPR-5.45. Factbooks addressing this and other things are coming soon.

The BR-32 is a machine gun that was invented in Romextly and is manufactured by the Dragon Firepower Company, also based in Romextly. This is the main weapon for Cavirfi's soldiers, however, this could be replaced with the Remington ACR which by Cavirfite standards is considered weaker but more durable.

Yes you can yell MACHINE GUNS AREN'T ASSAULT RIFLES but come on, they literally have similar firerates, I will call any automatic gun that isn't a pistol, an assault rifle.

Currently, the Goldmanian Armed Forces uses 2 main assault rifles to arm its infantry units: the first is a modified version of the American M4 Carbine as seen above, designated as the "M4G" variant (with the G standing for Goldmanian). It is pretty much an exact replica of the parent assault rifle, but it is lighter, a little bit smaller, and was less sophisticated. It was specifically made as an alternative to buying the original rifle for it was accommodated to be made cheaper, easier to carry and for ease of handling. This version is more commonly seen in the Marine Corps and in the Special Warfare Teams, the spec ops group of the GAF.

The second standard issue rifle for the common Goldmanian soldier is the locally manufactured BR-10, pictured here, and was made specifically for use in the regular Army and sometimes in the Navy since 1989. It is around the same size as the M4G, but was cheaper and much more easier to manufacture. It can also be customized to fit several attachments such as a silencer, a grenade launcher and a ACOG scope. It has many variants as well, with the most recent version being the BR-10 Mk V, introduced in 2014.

We are finally standardizing our assault rifle with an order of our indigenous CAR-21 in 5.56mm NATO. That resembles the M4 with short stroke system. The initial order will include 25000 rifles.

This will solve the chaos derived of the Gònava war and it's hard consequences with years of economic constraints. Before that war our army was diminute (from 7500 to a peak of 175000) we had the FN FAL as prewar main rifle. We had to quickly expand and We were under arms embargo so We had to smuggle whatever We could FNCs, AR18s, FALs, Galils, T65s, AKMs, etc.
Also We captured so many AKMs that allow us to replace FALs with our first line troops.
After the war T65, Galil ACE and FNCs were amongst what We would say standard in our downsized forces along AKMs.

While most of Universalius's information to the outside world is well suppressed by our government officials, it's no mystery that our main assault rifle in use is the AK-74M. A good runner up though is the M4.

This happens because each military organization has a certain amount of autonomy to acquire its own weapons and ammunition together the standard ones, as long as it obeys certain standards and rules, so that there is a certain great diversity of models of weapons in use. This would be a logisitical nightmare, but it isn't due to the countries being a huge manufacturer of firearms and ammunition, to both military and police forces as well the civilian market, allowing to relatively cheap acquisitions, and with such autonomy creating a situation of constant competition between the companies to sell their arms.

Our standard rifle is the HK-33, basically a G3 in 5,56 × 45 mm. It of course employs the same roller-delayed blowback system the G3 does and was built since the late 1970s under a license agreement by our own arsenals.
