Discrimination can come in different forms and is prejudice or unfavorable treatment against someone(s) through words or actions usually in the form of race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, ect... Discrimination can happen between individuals or perpretrated by a group like businesses, a public entity, private group, or the government against individual(s) or a group.

In our nation, there were some discrimination in the past but not widespread. Today there is some discrimination or racism that happens but it depends on the areas. The Southern areas of the country is widely tolerant of minorities, including blacks and Latinos. However in the Northeast, where whites are more located in towns and rural areas, whites are skeptical of illegal immigration and people that don't speak their same language so discrimination will happen on ocassionally by whites toward minorities except blacks. In the Eastern areas, blacks are discriminated by many Latinos and partially by Asians as they view blacks as low class, uneducated, and poor. For whites, it's difficult to gauge their views as they live in more affluent neighborhoods and cities, but if they live in rural areas they tend to have a negative view against blacks except while in urban areas, whites tend to get along with blacks. In universities, colleges can use affirmative action to give blacks and Latinos more representation if their state legalizes it or not. Affirmative action is a hot bed issue and intensely debated battles keep going on between groups that favor affirmative action like black civil rights group but Asian political groups try to lobby against it believing that affirmative action is biased against them because it will mean that more studious Asian students will be excluded. In k-12 schools and government, everyone is given fair and equal treatment, although immigration early on in the past had whites viewing minorities with either skepticism or some prejudice.

Males and females are viewed largely as equals although females may be encouraged to be mothers and to marry as they age in their late 20s and 30s. However in some of the rural areas with religious demographics, males may view them as taking more traditional and less liberal roles in society.

Discrimination-- as well as the support, promotion, advocacy, or apoligism thereof --on the basis of species, race, ethnicity, biological sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, age, religion, language, body shape/size, ability, or other trait that is targeted by the Lance ideology for discrimination, is legally defined as an Act of Treason Punishable by Death by the Twilight Embassy.

Discrimination when it comes religion and culture is widespread among individuals and only natives of our allied union can hold elected office, but legally speaking people aren't allowed to legally fire or hire based on any arbitrary characteristics.

Discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, biological sex, gender, socioeconomic background or age is prohibited by the Dystopia. However, organised religions and their members face discrimination in the form of being excluded from the community and stripped of their citizenship.

Aryax has limited anti-discrimination provisions in its Constitution. Article 13 establishes legal equality for all citizens, and bans discrimination based on origin, race, or personal or social circumstances. Article 14 weakly guarantees gender equality.

In reality, harsh discrimination is prevalent in all areas of life and affect wide segments of the population. In this sense, Aryaxian society is extremely hierarchical, so much that there is also a hierarchy that establishes which criteria are more important than others when discriminating, in the following order from most to least important: political loyalty, religious beliefs, sexual orientation and gender identity, biological sex, nationality, ethnicity. Of course, this second hierarchy is fully unofficial but it is widely reflected in official policy. The following groups are given preference in this order: citizens loyal to the ruling People's Revolutionary Movement (PRM), atheists, heterosexual cisgender people, men over women over any "third gender", Aryaxian citizens over non-citizens, ethnic Aryaxians.

Religion is illegal in its entirety and severely repressed. Similarly, the LGBT collective is criminalized and also faces harsh persecution. Women do not enjoy legal equality thanks to a deliberate loophole in article 14 of the Constitution, are frequently objectified, and numerous laws effectively ban feminism and campaigning for women's rights and gender equality.

Aryax has implemented a Social Credit Score that ranks citizens based on the actions they take every day and their loyalty to the state, which simplifies discriminatory policies by immediately signaling those with a low score for abuse.

Discrimination is banned in all medical and dental situations and in voting utterly. In the past blacks were often barred from voting but not anymore.

When a job involves physical danger, equal pay for equal work applies and several firms have brought it in to attract the best workers.

However, women can be made redundant for willingly getting pregnant.

There is discrimination in Altemoosburg, but it isn't abundant like other nations, at the start of the nation there were only white people, in the 1890s blacks immigrated to Altemoosburg to escape the kkk in America, and the reigning Archduke at the time created new policies to protect all races, genders, and ethnicities, though in the 1930s there was the Orange shirts, a nationalistic group in Altemoosburg that kidnapped black, Italian, Russian, and Japanese people, but the military executed every last member in 1937.

Well, it’s not like our nation is that diverse, so there’s very little discrimination. The government doesn’t discriminate, however, so all of the little discrimination there is is by our people, and that’s unchangeable, really. There always will be at least some discrimination.

As early as the 11th Century, discrimination on the basis of gender, age, and class has been illegal, as defined in the Star Dokumenti. As early as the 15th century, discrimination on the basis of race has been illegal, as written in the Proclamation of Freedom. As early as 1980, discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and ability has been illegal.

Discrimination had been present in the 20th century with groups promoting Spartan nationalism and other anti-immigrant movements. After the oppressive Spyridon Dynasty collapsed, our nation had reconciled with the past and put in more anti-discrimination policies under democratic governments, first started with the Democratic Union party. There are still those from the dynasty era that are prejudiced and that LGBT marriage wasn't legalized until a 2018 referendum, so it's not exactly like we have cracked down on discrimination entirely. There's still a lot of work to do.

Racial discrimination has historically been a major problem in New Bornholm. From the mid-1950s until the early 1980s, the government implemented a system of racial discrimination similar to that of Apartheid in South Africa. People of European heritage were given preference over Africans and Asians with regards to education and employment, and non-white people were restricted to living in certain neighbourhoods and provided with separate (usually inferior) public amenities. The African and Asian communities were entitled to only one parliamentary representative each. These measures isolated New Bornholm internationally, and grew increasingly unpopular. Following elections in 1980, the new government began dismantling the system of segregation, and racial discrimination was officially outlawed in 1983. Since then, further laws have been passed banning discrimination based on gender, religion, disability and sexuality. Today, New Bornholm is a much more equal society, and although discrimination persists, it is viewed as unacceptable by most people.

Our people do not see discrimination as a bad thing. In fact, we view it as an essential survival mechanism. We are realists and pragmatists after all, and as such, we are deeply rooted in the universal reality - "what is, is what is". That said, since we are a homogeneous society, what discrimination that occurs tends to be on an individual bases - freedom of association and all that.

We do not have races, genders, or any of that peasant stuff to discriminate about. However, that doesn't mean that there isn't discrimination here!

Decepticons discriminate heavily against the weak. We do not tolerate weakness in our society, lest we become beset with mealy-mouthed fee-fee-based bad decisions and utter lack of perspective, like some of the supposedly-civilized nations have. It is our opinion that both physical and mental strength are needed to ensure that our society continues to be superior, and that we Decepticons continue to be the universe's Ultimate Lifeform.

To describe it in its simplest terms: Any Cybertronian who does not meet or exceed the Minimum Design Specifications of the Decepticon Body or whose mind is below the Specifications for Code Intended to be Sapient is at extreme risk of losing his life. Bodily weakness means that someone can overpower you and drag you to a foundry for meltdown, while mental weakness means that you can be tricked into walking into it to meet the same molten end.

Even those who don't try to kill weak Decepticons think they are scum. No proper Decepticon would allow himself to go unmaintained long enough to become weak, and that's all there is to it. If the weakness is clearly the result of your own bad engineering ideas that you implemented on your own body, you won't be hated quite as badly since you were at least *trying* to upgrade, but you'll still get mocked - and you're still at risk of having opportunists try to drag you into a foundry for sale as scrap.

If you're of another species, you are at an even worse disadvantage. Not only are you legally relegated to the status of slave, you'll automatically be considered both physically weak and mentally dim - and if you argue the point, we will either smash you (if you have physical weakness) or con you out of whatever we want (mental weakness), thereby proving our point. Your best hope is to be a slave, for there are many who think that "irredeemably weak" or "pseudosapient" species such as humans should just be summarily wiped out - and there are no laws against acting on this opinion. If you're the property of someone else, though, your owner will try to protect you from being wantonly slaughtered, if only because you are a tangible asset to his company.

You will not avoid this discrimination if you are a non-Decepticon robotic species, either. Everyone "knows" that robots made elsewhere are engineered like garbage, made of shoddy parts, and that their AIs are also junk. We will typically respond to one of these things by trying to melt it down so we can make Decepticon parts out of it.

There's been little to no discrimination in recent decades, and where there is it's illegal based on sex, sexuality, gender identity, religion, race, and ethnicity, and hate crime laws cover all those groups.

In the past, ninlaians were subject to great discrimination, being the minority in much of the continent of Zeganas, and over 200 years ago slavery of ninlaians was abolished. Wolfians and baristolans also were historically in a racial tug of war meanwhile. This all hit a flashpoint when the Zeganasian civil war broke out about half a century ago, the progressive youth were done with each republic having systemic discrimination and segregation. After the current United Republican government established, racial and ethnic discrimination was immediately made illegal via an executive order by Yasunan Baiyube. Ever since then, various laws were added in that forbid discrimination against more and more groups.

I mighta posted on here before, but I’ve developed my nation’s history a lot in the past few days:

West Americans (East Americans are the USA) detest discrimination, however this was not always the case. The country was founded after a joint revolt against Mexico by California and Texas by... white settlers. Some racism tends to develop in war as a way to dehumanize the enemy, so that factor compounded with the generally racist attitude of an 1800s person to result in some anti-Mexican racism. Additionally, one of the reasons why Texans revolted (even in the real life revolt) was because Mexico did not allow slavery. However, the Texans did not get slavery anyway because the California miners (who detested slavery - labor/productivity reasons, not because they were anti-racist) wouldn’t allow it into the new Federal States constitution.

The vote process initially discriminated against non-whites and women, but white women gained the right to vote in 1903. In 1905, a Latino man and proud West American sued for his right to vote, arguing that as a person born in the Federal States, he too should have citizenship (and the benefits that go with it like being able to vote). The case got to the Supreme Court where five of seven justices ruled in his favor, granting minorities West American citizenship. This sparked riots by racist militias and white mobs, but President Hawley (a staunch anti-racist) swiftly put down the insurrection. When the Spanish invaded only two months later (March 1906), minority soldiers (including the very significant mixed race population) formed segregated regiments to fight the invasion. These units performed admirably, and President Hawley cited this when issuing a direct order to desegregate the Federal States Armed Forces.

As mentioned above, the Federal States has a very significant mixed race population. Initial investments focused on industrialization of whiter parts of the country (unsurprisingly, since that’s who the voters were at the time) which, like other industrial efforts, greatly boosted the population in those areas, leading to extreme overpopulation. To escape the crowded cities, people packed up their belongings and moved into formerly Mexican territory, thereby changing the ethnic makeup of the population. A similar, though less extensive phenomena occurred when the Federal States acquired Venezuela, Jamaica, the two Guyanas, and several Caribbean islands.

Despite initial conflict and lack of interaction, the many different ethnic groups eventually came to influence a broad culture with many different elements from many different origins, and of course, all influenced by the events unique to our own nation. The War of 1906 is an experience which only West Americans went through, so no matter what race a West American is, April 13th (Victory Day) is a day of celebration.

Dakotishland has always been fairly xenophobic and discriminatory of outsiders, with some regions banning people that are not white or native American from participating in government. Some groups have it worse, as people of Turkish or Jewish heritage are banned from entering the country since 1912. Additionally, communists and homosexuals are often discriminated against legally.

While discrimination in most forms is technically illegal, in practice it’s a different story. Thermodolians are known to be xenophobic and regularly turn their noses down at outsiders.

Thermodolia is also heavily transphobic though legally trans persons are considered a protected class there are many Thermodolians who wish to overturn these statues.

There has always been discrimination in Nevertopia, thankfully pro-social policies and an active suppression of far-right politics has helped bring cohesion between all the different races.

There is a separation between the common people and the ruling class, though no negative division. The ruling class don’t oppress the common people and common people aren’t suspicious of the ruling class. There is also a distinction between on the grid inhabitants and off the grid inhabitants. On the grid inhabitants live in high tech civilizations that are often densely populated. They have access to commerce, internet, and etc. Off the grid inhabitants live in low tech civilizations or low tech environments. Off the grid communities are where the most spiritual and mystical people live. They are also the remnant of life in Subhurbia before the federation formed. The off the grid inhabitants and the civilized inhabitants often don’t think highly of each other. Different ethnic groups are predominant in different regions of Subhurbia. Though these groups have harmonious relations today, centuries ago a person of a different ethnic group couldn’t enter a certain region because the local ethnicity of that region had hostile relations with the ethnic group of that person.
