The red symbolizes our official ideology of democratic market socialism.

The eight stars arranged in a circle represent the eight administrative divisions.

The central star represents the central government that unifies and governs them.

In its current state, the NSC flag has 2 primary motifs: Two pillars, forming the roman numeral II (2), and then a 'N.'

The colors selected are gray/silver and red since they are often associated with second place.

The outer gear represents the workers, which powers
the inner gear, which represents democracy, which stabilizes

The lines are designed to resemble a circuitboard, representing interconnectedness. The central symbol is a reboot symbol, and it represents the central control of the Mainframe, its computerized nature, and its constant improvement.

The dark blue and white are mainly chosen to look cool, but could be viewed as representing knowledge and order.

The stands for all the blood that has been shed throughout our history, and even in the nations before Azlaake, the blue stands for the unity through equality of all Azlaakeans, the white stands for peace between the majority and the minorities, culturally, economically, and politically, while the 12 stars stand for the union of the 12 states of Azlaake

The Black represents the levels of Government, the Purple represents the Royalty, the White represents the people, and the blue represents the bridge that the people hold up that connects both the government and royals

-Five stars to represent the five environmental regions/states of the North American Environmental Alliance
-Red for the blood of patriots, white for the purity of our Christian men under Christ due to his Crucifixion, and blue for our devotion to justice and morality
-The pine tree to represent our pride in our environmental beauty as well as reference to the Pine Tree Flag (one of the many colonial American flags with the quote "APPEAL TO HEAVEN")
-Two arms, one carrying a hoe representing the farmers and hard workers, and another arm carrying a rifle representing our highly armed populace and militias
-The famous "Gadsden Snake" coiled around a fasces as to say "Don't tread on our collective liberties and identity or we will not be afraid to retaliate"
-A cross on the top center to stand for our highly devout Christian stances

[State of Turelisa]

The colour scheme of red, white and green represents the three theological virtues, which form the national motto.

The five radial lines are a representation of the Doctrines of Grace, which number five, upon which Reformed Christianity is based.

The octagon has long been associated with Turelisa. Originally the island was a commonwealth of eight States whose representatives met around an octagon table to deal with inter-State matters. At independence, the States became the present Dominions and the octagon was retained as a national symbol. The chamber where Congress assembles is octagonal, and the Presidium, the Kremlin-like complex where the Government and its senior departmental offices are situated, is located within an octagonal arrangement.

The eight stars each represent one of the eight Dominions. The stars are a replica of the eight-pointed Commonwealth Star, which represented the commonwealth of eight States from which The State of Turelisa originated.

[Costa Hermosa]

The national flag of Costa Hermosa is a horizontal tricolour of blue and white including a red Hibiscus encircled by a golden ring in the centre of the flag.

The Hibiscus is the national flower of Costa Hermosa, visualising the beauty of the country. Red symbolises the blood of fallen freedom fighters. The golden ring represents the prosperity of the country. The middle white stripe represents peace and unity among the populace. The top and bottom blue stripes represent the waterways surrounding Costa Hermosa: the Mexican Gulf and the Caribbean Sea.

The flag was adopted in 1992, following the overthrow of Fernando Alvaro Velazquez, dictator of the "Plutocracy", via popular revolution.

PS: I could use some help in coming up with a name for the flag. Also, how did I do?

[British Socialist Syndicates]

The Hammer and Torch symbol (the hammer for labour, the torch for liberty) represents syndicalism, the guiding ideology of the state. The colour red represents the workers, and their sacrifice in the Revolution of 1926, while white represents peace and friendship with other nations, and blue represents the country's maritime character.

[Kantani Civilisation]

The flag I am currently using is nothing more than a placeholder (until I can get off my arse and make a proper one), but it is an important symbol for the Kantani people. The Kantani have, through history, built so-called 'fountains of light', which use the refraction of sunlight to create 'light sculptures', believed to be spiritual in nature.

As for the official flag, it is in Kantani calligraphy (which I have a hard time reproducing with computer graphics) in the name of the current dynasty, the Satavakal (or ɿpɹʔ ɯɿcɔn in informal Kantani script).

[Anentova]

The dark red represents the revolutionary workers and leaders of the great Anentova.
The white stars represent the 4 Leaders of the Revolutionary Republics of Chad, Nigeria, Benin and Cameroon who gave way to the formation of the nation.
The Dark Gear is a symbol of the work, future, effort and unity of the people.

The red X is to show how bad our country is and how you cannot ever leave despite that. The golden eagle shows our strength, the black and white show how death is intermingled with life here, as life is terrible.

Purple stands for our ambitions. The knight represents our willpower. Black represents our authority and power.

Our flag stands for total domination of the universe by us.

SPACE, or by extension the Universe, is signified by the black background.

WE are represented by the Decepticon Seal in the center. Note that we are the only power in the vastness of the universe. Nothing else is significant enough to be represented.

OUR EYES are lit up. This signifies that we are conscious. (When we are not conscious, our eyes turn off.)

This does not mean that we will delete the rest of the universe. Instead, we shall rule it. Every other conscious being in it will serve us as our slaves.

The dual color bands represent the sunset/sunrise after a battle. The sky is red with the blood of the martyrs the ocean deep and blue. the Position of the star is below the midpoint because of the position of the country in South America. The star has 12 points representing the 12 Departments.

[Pirate-Republic]

The Skull/crossed cutlasses symbolize the nation's past. The stripes represent freedom, the black represents all the wars we've fought and the soldiers we've lost, and the white represents our freedom, our future, and our culture.

[Bunkaiia]

The Red Pomegranate represents pleasure, passion, joy, and life’s sweetness as well as the national cultural tradition of everyone owning a pomegranate tree in their government-allocated plot of farmland. These individual gardens are extremely important in the everyday life of the average Bunkaiian. Bunkaiians must legally be plant-based (though invertebrates are consumed on special occasions). The 12 black arils represent the 12 provinces as well as lord TIME itself which is “worshipped” as the most powerful “deity”. The white outlines everywhere represent the white sandy beaches that outline most of the islands, islets, and atolls. Additionally, many of the coastlines are nestled with edible algae farms, and three algae pillars represent the three worded motto as well as the three main groups of islands. Black represents both the fertility of the land on the right and the “TOR” kingdom of darkness and deceit that rules that the rest of the world, thereby creating Bunkaiia as a sort of Lighthouse for “SHEET” in the dark abyss. (“Shid” and “Tar” play a role in Mazdakite cosmology) On the Right side, the Paisley represents fertility, (re)birth, and infinity (it’s supposed to look a little bit like a v). Yellow represents the wealth generated by fragrant oils - an early export while the black pearls represent another major export. The purple background is the national color of the Austronesian Doyan minority who uses dye extracted from a local conch to paint their skin various shades of purple.

[Medwedgrad]

The green and the three golden trees represent our forests and nature. The half of Medwedgrad's territory is a a Nature Park! The bear represents the fiefdom itself, as the meaning of its name is "The Bear Fortress", and fiefdom is situated on and under the "The Bear Mountain" (Medvednica).

[Chaloupe]

The Chaloupois flag has five horizontal multicolored bands with a red chevron. The colour blue in the flag represents the sky and sea of which Chaloupe is surrounded by, the yellow represents the sun and 'light of independence', the red representing the bloodshed in the struggle for independence and in the creation of a national identity, the white for social justice and purity and the green for the land and natural beauty.

[Wip3d Out]

Our flag represents Pierre Belmondo, a French entrepreneur who, following a major economic collapse united several bankrupt nations to form Wip3d Out in 2040.

He is pictured alongside his proudest achievement, the Paris-Theodore Javelin, manufactured in 2044 as the first ever mass produced AG racing vessel.

[The Children of Odin]

The cross symbolizes the Nordic heritage of the nation, but since the Nordic cross itself is supposed to symbolize Christianity, and the people of the nation have had a rough history when it comes to keeping their pagan faith above it, the Valknut symbol was put on top of it. Now it shows the Nordic heritage and that the pagan faith is above Christianity in this nation. The colors have been used throughout Scandinavia for centuries, and don't particularly represent anything.
