The Edeltian Instruments SixtyFour Jr. was a 32-Bit Personal Computer made for Children ages 7-12 made by Edeltian Instruments and NEC Corporation for the Eastern Siberian Market, as a Solution to IBM's FX Personal Computer, which it has been Advertised as a Computer for Children that was Smarter, and it was Supposed to be Replace the SixtyFour SFGS, a Non-68k and 6502-Based 16-Bit Personal Computer made for Schools, Home Users and Small Businesses, but it was never meant to Replace it due to it's Incompatibility with the Processor, which this Computer has Used a Motorola 68030 Processor running at 33 MHz, while the Similar Model with PC Engine Compatibility, known as the Edeltian Instruments SixtyFour Jr. Duo has a Additional Processor, the Hudson Soft HuC6285 that has been Used in the Popular PC Engine Game Console, to use it as to only Emulate the Real Hardware of the PC Engine in order to be Compatible with it's Games and to Control the Data coming from the HuCard of the PC Engine or the Programmable Bee Card, but it has been Limited when it came to HuCards in order to Prevent Piracy, in which, HuCards aren't Easy to Pirate, or to Copy into a Floppy Disk or a Another Bee Card on it, while the Bee Cards for this Computer has been Programmable and Not Copy-Protected, while some Clever Devices made by Game Companies aren't Programmable and Editable but Readable and causes the Floppy Disk Game on it to be Uncopiable. Meanwhile, this Computer has been already Discontinued in August 1997 after the Full Success of the SixtyFour FAMILY Computers for the Home Market, Primarily Children.

This Computer has been also Famous for it's Use of Bubble Memory Cartridges that has been mostly Used for Games, including Sega's Afterburner, Super Hang-On and Super Monaco Grand Prix and Outrun, Namco's Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Pole Position and Galaga, Easy Idle's Lifefline Series (Perzona Lite and Village History), Konami's Gradius, Twin Bee, Track & Field, Castlevania and Contra, and Taito's Space Invaders, Qix, The NewZealand Story, Chack'n Pop, Bubble Bobble and Rainboy Islands, until it has been Replaced by a HuCard Slot in the next Model, the SixtyFour Jr. Duo.
