THE MID PACIFIC IS FREE AGAIN!

The Mid Pacific was liberated from the nefarious 'The Black Hawks' yesterday, when its founder, the Lone Leader, returned from a long voyage in the search of the mythical 'Eternal Spring of Rum-cola'. Keniki the Elder kicked The Death Knight II's ass and dismissed him as dominator of the region. What was once a quiet and safe haven for any nation has been restored to its former glory.

The opening of embassies with old friends and allies has begun. Anyone is invited to open embassies with us and establish friendly relations. And to pay a visit to say hello and drink some rum-cola, of course!

KENIKI THE ELDER REFORMS THE GOVERNMENT

Keniki the Elder, the Lone Leader, has carried out a reshuffle of masters in cabinet positions, one day after expelling The Black Hawks from the region.

There was speculation ahead of the reshuffle about how diverse the new Cabinet would be, particularly considering the region's small population. Meet the government:

Ceremonial Office: To the Lone Leader, Keniki the Elder of Aphralogea, of course. With all powers.
Viceroy Office: A special office with authority over the Defense Office (border control), Home Office (communications and polls), and Foreign Office (embassies) has been created ex profeso. It's held by Caerulean Archipelago with the title of 'Viceroy'.
Cartographic Office: The headquarters of this office have been moved to Autochthonesia.
Shadowy Office: The position of Master of Shadows has been given to Pu-Der Alomra of Arenanekera.

Regarding regional defence, Jacme Espàrrec of Pirate Turtles of the Indigo Sea has been appointed Lord Admiral of the Fleets.

NEW DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS TO SEVERAL REGIONS

The Foreign Office informs that the ambassadorial system has been reinstituted with the opening of new diplomatic missions. The following embassies have been reopened: Arconian Empire, Atlantis, Bus Stop, The bar on the corner of every region, and The United Caribbean Island Alliance.
New embassies have been opened for the first time with Dead Sea, Gordon Ramsays Kitchen, The Sea of Love, and Trident Alliance.

FURTHER DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS TO SEVERAL REGIONS

The Foreign Office informs that more diplomatic missions have been established. The following embassies have been reopened: Australialia, Indopacific, Island, New Islands, New Pacific, Ocean, Oceanic Federation, Rockall, Seaplane Base, South Pacific, and Steam Islands.

New embassies have been opened for the first time with Germanic Islands, Linguine Islands, Northwest Isles, Oceanica, Oceanic Territories, Palm Islands, Regionless, Satyricon, Sea of Storms, The Great Universe, Tropican Islands, United Island Nations, World Ocean, Archipelago, and Dispatchia.

A NEW LINK BETWEEN VINI AND CISPLATINAA

A new air route has been opened between Vini Airport, in Aphralogea, and Cisplatinaa International Airport, in Cisplatinaa (Trident Alliance).

THE MESOPACIFICAN CENTRAL BANK IS HERE

In April 21st 2020, the countries of Arenanekera, Aphralogea, Autochthonesia, Flying Fortresses, and Pirate Turtles of the Indigo Sea formally adopted the knot (symbol §) as their common currency, and all five countries founded and became part of the Mesopacifican Central Bank (MCB), the central bank for the knot and central administration for the monetary policy within the Knot Area. The bank's capital stock is owned by all the central banks of each member state of the Mid Pacific using the knot.
The MCB is headquartered in Tula, Aphralogea, and Xaches Asteron, of this country, has been appointed president of the MCB.

Since 2018, the prospect of implementing a Central Bank Digital Currency has been in discussion in the Mid Pacific. With the establishment of the MCB, the knot becomes both a physical and a digital currency, and the MCB will act as a central bank for the digital knot, as well.

TRADING CARDS WITHIN THE MCB

President Asteron declared in April 23rd that the trading card system will be used by the MCB as a way to harmonize the MCB's shareholders and stock capital. Any nation with trading cards of the Knot countries will be considered as shareholders of the MCB. On the other hand, any Knot country is asked to junk all Common and Uncommon cards and keep the other ones (Rare, Ultra-rare, Epic, and Legendary). Common and uncommon cards with special or high value can be kept by the countries and sold in the international market. All Knot countries are asked to deliver all Rare, Ultra-rare, Epic, and Legendary cards to the MCB when possible, with the possibility to keep, at least, a 25% of such cards.
This measure will entry into force on April 30th 2020.
