are you saying it could fly? unless it spun around like helicopter blades, it couldn't fly.

Actualy in the AC-130 I don't think theres room for one. But in any case look at the thread's title.

Probably because there are not really that many choices as far as modern aircraft are concerned. Prior to WW2 most every nation had some indiginous aircraft industry and built military aircraft. Now, the choices are pretty limited. Off the top of my head, You have the US, Russia, UK, France, Sweden and China as far as moden fighters go. Thats not alot to choose from.
