AC-130 can drop MOABs, as can all C130s with rear ramps (In Vietnam, they dropped Daisy Cutters)

Actualy in the AC-130 I don't think theres room for one. But in any case look at the thread's title.

There's room for one. the MOAB is like 30 feet long, and there's a lot of room on the new C-130Js, which will become gunships soon. (My dad works at USSOCOM, so i have had the privilege of being on board one)

Probably because there are not really that many choices as far as modern aircraft are concerned. Prior to WW2 most every nation had some indiginous aircraft industry and built military aircraft. Now, the choices are pretty limited. Off the top of my head, You have the US, Russia, UK, France, Sweden and China as far as moden fighters go. Thats not alot to choose from.

True, however they gave the F-4 longer range, which I guess the British wanted for over the North Sea. In a fight however, I would take the J-79s over the Speys however.

We still use about 1,500 RF-4s, upgraded with Pratt and Whitney 1200s, and upgraded with a glass cockpit, because we have not found any better recon platform.

The most prevalent fighter aerocraft within the Imperium's Aero Legions is that of:

HAD S39 Viper
Image

Information
In a new age of warfare and prevention of warfare, from sea based carriers to land based airstrips and beyond, HAD proudly announces it's S39 Viper as an alternative to other aerospace weaponry.

A 4.5 generation multi-role fighter aircraft, it is powered by the GE Auremena F424 afterburning turbofan, a procurement through trade relations that came about during an expo of the S39 to a purchasing country.

Compared to the S38 Mamba, the S39 Viper's relocated main landing gear, the internal fuel capacity has increased by 40%, which will increase ferry range to 4,070 km (2,200 nmi). The new undercarriage configuration also allows for the addition of two heavy stores pylons to the fuselage. Its PS-05/A sensor adds a new active electronically scanned array (AESA) antenna to it's resources for detecting hostile threats.

The canard configuration gives a high onset of pitch rate and low drag, enabling the aircraft to be faster, have longer range and carry a larger payload.

The combination of delta wing and canards gives the S39 significantly better takeoff and landing performance and flying characteristics. The totally integrated avionics make it a "programmable" aircraft. It also has a built-in electronic warfare unit, making it possible to load more ordnance onto the aircraft without losing self defence capabilities.

The Kargraz People's Army Air Force currently fields two primary interceptor aircraft in defence of the Proletarian Dictatorship and its airspace. These are the Chinese J-7 built to specific Kargrazi specifications as the F-7KZ, and a local derivative of the Soviet Su-15 based upon the planned but never completed Su-19 enhancement. Together they number almost 92,000 in KPAAF service as of this day, with production of both aircraft on going.
