Not a Fighter - I know. Picture of the C-17 taking off that landed us in Afghanistan in 2011 for our eight month deployment. Thought it might interest some of you. I have others of A-10's and F-15's doing CAS for us, but they would violate OPSEC for others - I know for certain a few would. I have to be careful posting this stuff.

You got him on that one. Now let me keep going with the debunking.

I was deployed to Afghanistan, US Army Stationed at FOB RamRod, google it if you want to. I will give you this, you may have been deployed there, it would be the only reason you know that A-10's are used. f-15's not so much. I seen more F-16's taking off then anything else.

To say you were there as Spec Forces is laughable, cause no one in the Spec Forces, would say they were in, and then say that they could not say anything about it. Like I'm about to say now. Yes I was there, and I'm game to talk about it.

With out even pointing out how bad of a shop job this this, since the photo seems to be taken a little higher in the mountains, along with the plus sign still left on there. I'll just point out, that Around Kandahar, there are little to no high Mountains. You can see for days to tell you the truth, and Kabul, there is a City around it, do I need to make a case on how there are also limited mountains? I think not.

Having battles that have been in Spec Op's, and those that lost their lives, I will give you the chance to remove this, or take back your statement.

ATTN Junior Generals

Post proof of your service, like actual physical, irrefutable proof that you served in the military, or just shut up about it. Believe it or not, we have dozens upon dozens of nations who come here and claim they're military hence why most of us don't believe it unless you convince us otherwise. A few pictures of military service or a brief list of deployments doesn't cut it.

Who cares if somebody is in the military or not. It's very rarely useful for the sort of discussion that needs to be had. Moreover this is an international forum–you don't win any brownie points by occupying another country.

How exactly do you prove you were in the military?
I could talk all day about it in a manner that would only be possible through either actual service or heavy coaching by a Navy vet, but that doesn't quite prove it.
I could post pictures of me with my ship in the background, but that doesn't prove that I'm the ET2 who's taken the picture, just that I found his picture.

I understand it when people don't believe that others have military service under their belt when there is contrary evidence, but I do find it odd that people question those who have no contrary evidence against them. Surprise, surprise, there are people in the military who are nerds and like to play NS. There are entire military job fields comprised of almost nothing but your stereotypical geek.

That would be ideal, although I'd like to know of ones that would be able to take off without being able to land, as well.
