As Kedri is a confederation, people's stances towards LGBT rights and issues varies depending on the haven (kinda like a province.) The Constitution guarantees basic human rights for everyone, including LGBT folk, but subnational and local governments can decide their own policies on things like marriage and adoption. At the national level, all marriages are privatized.

Yes, Avoss recognizes and protects the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals and families. This includes anti-discrimination laws and the recognition of same-sex marriage. The health care system also provides sexual and mental health counselling for LGBTQ+ persons. This includes counselling and subsidies for sex-change therapy, though admittedly the wait times are long and persons with greater financial means chose private options.

Chavandriclanderpleistan is a nation made up of genderless, sexless ghosts.

So. Uh. I guess we don't really take a stand on it at all. The government stays out of the bedroom.

Whether a person is LGBTQ has no bearing on their status in the Great British Nation.

by Ruritane
Ruritane's treatment of LGBTQ is middling when compared to everyone in the world, good when compared to the Middle Ages, and bad when compared to liberal American/European Western Civilization. It honestly depends on the province, since Ruritane is a very federalized country.

Most Ruritanaises believe homosexuality to be a mental illness. How this belief is expressed in law depends on the province. In Major Ruritane, gay marriage is legal, since "if schizophrenics can marry, what about gay people?" In Southern Africa, gay people have to settle with civil unions with lesser rights to marriage. And in the other provinces, homosexuality is flat-out-illegal, even though the law is not enforced. Ruritanaises are often condescending towards gay people, although cultural values make Ruritanaises deny it, and say that they hate them instead.

For trans people, it is a little bit different. Trans people are accepted by society, but only if they are trans women/assigned male at birth (I use redundant terminology because my classmates are transphobic and refer to trans women as trans men, so I want there to be no confusion). Schools can refuse trans people, but that is because the government makes schools pay for trans kids' medicine/hormone therapy.

by Vrijstaat Limburg
After Limburg's war for independence in the 2010s, the governor-general enacted a set of executive orders set on repairing the nation and reforming the influence of the state. In many institutions, such as social security and legal marriage, the influence of the state shrank considerably, and the church took over all responsibility. Now, the Roman Catholic Church, or more specifically the Dioceses of Roermond and Hasselt, have a monopoly on marital law. Thus, LGBTQ-ites are unable to marry.

Furthermore, loyalty to the state, the governor-general and God is highly regarded, strongly recommended and deeply engrained in Limburgic society. Homosexuality and all other abnormal sexualities are often seen as degenerate or individualistic, and thus destructive to the moral fabric of the nation. Due to the influence of the church and conservative factions in domestic politics, such behaviour is also commonly seen as deeply sinful and incorrect.

Even though there are no reported cases on violence against gays in Limburg, agencies like Amnesty International dispute official records, claiming that they could be rigged to mask "hate crimes" in an effort to shield the nation from international pressure. Policemen and gendarmerie, having a reputation for being somewhat corrupt and may sometimes ignore criminals and not make a report on any violence against LGBTQ-ites. Legionaries from the VLL, acting as the troops that officially enforce law and order in occupied territories, are rumoured to have engaged in anti-LGBTQ violence in an effort to pacify the Northern Territories, though all of these rumours are mostly speculative and not grounded on any substantial proof, so the government in Maastricht reports.

Homosexuals, lesbians and bisexuals, constituting the bulk of the LGBTQ folk, are often able to hide their sexualities. They have to repress their own emotions to succesfully sustain themselves by earning a living, but compared to other LGBTQ-ites, they're somewhat lucky. It is not possible to change one's legal gender, meaning that transsexuals are permanently assigned the gender they were given at birth. Crossdressing is deeply frowned upon, and inofficially illegal in the Northern Territories. Public crossdressing is legally recognized as breaching the peace, and thus an arrestable offense. Gender reassignment surgery is also strictly forbidden and classified as self-mutilation in the case of the patient and maiming in that of the doctor, with a minimal sentence of five years in prison, as well as the suspension of the doctor's medical license. "Queer" people are not recognized in Limburgs law, for the nation's lawmakers don't know exactly what they are, but the queer will surely find it difficult to adapt to the nation's rules.

Ieskarios previously outlawed homosexuality and had a fairly anti-LGBT agenda. However with recent reforms much of these laws are being challenged, and the law outlawing homosexuality is currently in the process of being scrapped, and is only waiting for royal assent in order for the law to be removed. Society is still majority against LGBT behaviours, as 64% of citizens do not approve of same-sex marriage and 72% against gender transitioning, but liberal forces in the country have been making strides in society to change these perceptions.

Officially, the Royal Family is in line with whatever the government chooses to do, though in private the deeply religious King is not personally for the LGBT movement, but will not stand in the way of the people's decision.

Yes, anyone of any sexual orientation can live their lives free of discrimination and harassment in Lancov, including the right to marry and adopt children. Trans people can easily change their gender on government documents. We also have an active policy of accepting refugees from nations that persecute LGBT+ people.

Acceptance is an understatement, we promote homosexuality in our nation and by homosexuality I mean the Athenian one where buff Greek guys get passionate with other buff Greek guys. Otherwise, we desire to break the chains of marriage and heteronormativity.

Surprisingly, the Greater Roman Republic is in fact accepting of homosexuality, bisexuality and asexuality. Transgender is considered a mental illness, not unlike autism for example. Non-heterosexuals are permitted to wed, adopt and engage in spousal acts so long they otherwise abide by the morals of Rome.

in Januszburg, everyone is equal, so no one can be discriminated against for belonging to LGBTQ, but the government officially condemns homosexuality and does not allow partnerships or same-sex marriages. Anti-LGBTQ campaigns have started in the last 3 months in connection with their growing popularity, even in the election of the WA secretary.

Human livestock is not allowed to stop working or slow their work just to talk about petty biological issues like their sexuality, so we have no idea what our wild-stock slaves would prefer to mate with.

As for our cloned livestock, it is all heterosexual because that was the original Standard for humans, and we have seen no need to change it. The Cloning Centers also do not do "diversity." Trying to diversify cloned stock only slows down production and introduces more chances for error. It's better to perfect a single version of the Approved DNA Codec for the Human Species and use that for all clones until the next Version is released.

Decepticons themselves are asexual and are not tolerant of people going around as if they're lovestruck (or lust-struck) biologicals, period. We are above such nonsense and couldn't care less about its many permutations. If someone starts talking about sexuality to one of us, or is acting like he's interested in sex at all, we'll insult him for being "a biological behind the panels" and question Immigration's decision to let him in. Even the most polite would call him "insufficiently assimilated" and tell him to get a desexualization patch so he can be a REAL Decepticon.

(Note that all biologicals must become robots to immigrate. However, the code for sexuality remains within them until patched out, which is a separate process.)

As for our use of pronouns, we use "he" for each other when speaking English because we most match the male behavior pattern of biologicals in the majority of human societies, and we are not going to get bogged down in the exceptions. We also adamantly avoid using "it," which is too strongly associated with mindless, inanimate objects despite its technical definition.

The clause of the legal code forbidding same-sex sexual activity was removed from the law code in 1855 with the creation of the Commonwealth, effectively decriminalising homosexuality, yet it still remained highly taboo and various more conservative-inclined national, provincial and local governments would prosecute homosexual people for activity using laws against acts such as public indecency and gross indecency.

It was not until 1980 when the Workers'-Radical government specifically wrote into the legal code that such acts were legal and did not fall under this scope that these persecutions stopped, and in the successive years LGBT rights have gradually improved. In 1995 the law was changed to explicitly give some of the rights of married couples to same-sex couples, and this was followed by the legalisation of same-sex marriage by Aalmsted Province and Haadland Province in 2003. In 2004, Prime Minister Eleina Helmutsdohter's government legalised same-sex marriage across Azmara and extended anti-discrimination laws in employment and provision of services to include sexual orientation, as well as allowing transgender individuals to change their legal gender after going through reassignment surgery.

Niina Hermansdohter's government between 2008 and 2009 also saw improvements in LGBT rights, strengthening anti-discrimination laws and extending them to include gender identity, and attempting to bring in education about same-sex relationships in schools. The government of Sofija Freidriksdohter between 2014 and 2017 would also reform laws, allowing transgender individuals to change their gender without surgery, allowing legal transition after a year of living as the opposite gender.

Polling suggests most Azmarans are fairly accepting towards LGBT people and support the liberalisations of the laws on the issue, yet there still exist issues with homophobia and transphobia in society: like many fairly tolerant nations it still suffers from a lack of public information on the issues among certain sectors of society, and, while disproved of by the majority of the population, there have been instances of anti-LGBT hate crimes in recent years.
