In the confederation exist a Confederal Holidays and Cantonal Holidays. The first have extant in all Confederation territory, the second one obviously have extent only in the cantonal territory.

1st January: New Years Day
1st May: Army and Labor Day - Over to be Workers' day is the day that the Alingan Army doean a coup d'etat, to force the King to organize a referendum and an election of a new costituent assembly. Estabilsed a Military Junta acalled "Demoratic Restoration Military Junta", and sine 25th May 2004 became a "Democratic Restoration Civil Junta" when the military member where substituted by civilan member by civil society and leader of the until the cop was a underground political praties exept the head of the Junta remain the General. The first action of the Junta was the abolition of all anti-democratic k0ng's decree, re-enstabish the civil and political liberties, and the organization at the next year of the istitutional Referendum and the election of the new parliament. This was one of the few coup d'etat in the world, that enstablish a democratic regime.
25th May: Republic Day or Democratic Revolution Day: Day that commemorate the referendum held in 25th May 2005 that makes Alinghi a Republic.
29th June: Diversity Pride Day: Day that celebrate the diversity of single alingan. In that day in the Capital are organizing a great pride parade. This was a sort of evolution of Gay prides what after the all LGBT battles had been succesful, the organizers decide to evolve the parade, deciding to focus to be pround what you are, indipendently what you are, and embrace the differenciese that make you different from another person.
31st August: Indipindence Day: When Alinghi regain indipendence from occupation from Kingdom of Pavan in 31st August 1946
5th September: Ex-Slaves Hospitality Day: Then the Alingan Anti-Slavery Association was founded, in 1782. The society pratically freed in legal or illegal method the black african slaves from USA and African Slave Traders, and give them the possibility to move in Alinghi as free men. The indipendence day is 31st August not 31st July as you put in the index (and I correct also the orthography indipendence not independence) .
