History: In the early 2000s, the Conceptine military adopted the H&K G-36kv & c as stop gap solutions to fulfill an Urgent Operational Requirement (UOR) to supplement the aging standard-issue Daewoo K-2 rifle series for troops deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, as well as counter-terrorism and high-risk counter-narcotics missions along the Conceptine Border with Brazil. After a contract for local Conceptine-licensed G-36 production from H&K became delayed due to legal matters in 2013, the Conceptine military put out a request for the adoption of an entirely new weapon system. In late 2016, having already been tested by Conceptine special units for 2 years, the domestically-designed MASTECH Corporation Ma-52 was selected over the FN SCAR-L, SIG-SAUER 516, IWI Galil Ace & Beretta ARX-160, as Conceptina's new standard rifle.

[Chernarus State]

The primary service rifle for the Chernarusian Federal Armed Forces is the Avtomát Kaláshnykova Örnakt'sa R'oda 2005, shortened to the AK-ÖR05, a modernized variant of the AKM that was developed in response to government arms (primarily Soviet arms bought by the Chernarusian Federative Soviet Republic) being raided during the Chernarusian Civil War by the Democratic Forces of Chernarus and desperate civilians: as part of tactical doctrines emphasizing heavier ammunition (along with preventing potential deserters from using Russian arms and ammunition), the AK-ÖR05 is chambered in 7.62x39mm and has a distinctive magazine based off the vz. 58 that prevents the AK-ÖR05 from using other Kalashnikov-pattern rifle magazines like that of the AKM or AK-103.

As part of standardization, the AK-ÖR05 also has a number of offshoots: the AKS-06U is a carbine variant of the main rifle, while the AKS-07 is unique as it is chambered in 5.45x39mm - as such, the AKS-07, alongside the AKS-05 (a folding-stock variant of the main rifle also chambered for 5.45), are issued only to special operations units for combat, as well as a limitation against them should they attempt to perform a coup and are pushed to holding positions against Federal Army units. Additionally, the Syreneva Sternets'ka Systema Vyntov'ka R'oda 1995 (SSSV-R95) is a designated marksman rifle variant based off the AK-ÖR05 and PSL (the peculiarity of its number designation comes from the SSSV having been originally developed in 1995 off the same blueprints as the AK-ÖR05, but prototypes were only developed and deployed to elite government units: after the Civil War, it was decided to instead simply modernize the SSSV to match the AK-ÖR05 and consider it as the original weapon).

Finally, the AK-ÖR05 also helped spawn the R'ochni Kuneli Kaláshnykova Örnakt'sa R'oda 2005, shortened to the (RKK-ÖR05), a light machine gun that replaced existing stocks of the RPD, RPK, RPK-74, and PK. Much like the AK-ÖR05, the RKK-ÖR05 is chambered primarily in 7.62x39mm, though the R'ochni Kuneli Kaláshnykova Örnakt'sa 5.45 (RKK-Ö545) was eventually developed for special operations units to reduce weight and standardize their equipment.

A peculiarity that should be noted with all rifles excluding the SSSV-R95 are their magazines: the AK-ÖR05, AKS-06U, and RKK-ÖR05 all use interchangeable magazines, with the first two primarily using 30-round curved magazines and the latter 45-round casket magazines or a 96-round drum magazine. In contrast, the AKS-05, AKS-07, and the RKK-Ö545 use 30 and 40-round curved magazines, a 45-round casket magazine, and a 75-round drum magazine: much like the 7.62 variants, the 5.45 magazine variants are all interchangeable. As can be seen in the images linked, the Chernarusian AK platform possesses rail systems and Magpul furniture to allow soldiers to customize their weapons: this, plus its unique parts and reliable performance, has given the AK a beloved reputation among the Federal Armed Forces - in contrast, the AK-ÖR05 is viewed rather negatively in the international arms industry for its associations in brutal government crackdowns and conflicts such as the East Prigorodny War, the 2007 Wars in the Georgian Federal Constituent Republic, the reprisals against the 2014 pro-democracy protests, and the 2020 Chernarusian civil conflict.

This is the basic small arm of the AGF. It is chambered in the 6.8x55mm round, and has a fire rate of 700-750rpm. It features Safe, 2RB, and Full Auto.
It has a 635mm (25") barrel and a set of flip aperture sights, however the IROG (Infantry Rifle Optical Gunsight) is is usually issued, albeit some troops prefer domestically made Comp M5 clones.
The weapon feeds from 30 round magazines, and is compatible with most attachments.

Along with this, the citizen guard, a volunteer militia, uses older outdated rifles like the semi-automatic INSAS rifle and the even older bolt action Ichhapur rifle.

Since 1999, the Toinan Armed Services has used the M4 Carbine rifle as its primary service weapon. Most soldiers also carry a Beretta M9 as a service pistol. Officers of the National Police Service and Army Military Police Corps regularly the Smith & Wesson M&P pistol, but do not carry shotguns or assault rifles on a regular basis.

Every single foot soldier of New Goldman's Imperial Armed Forces is equipped with the American produced M16 Assault Rifle, more specifically the M16A4 Variant. It replaced the Armalite Ar-10 that had seen decades of service in 2008, as under the National Rearmament Act that sought for more modern weapons for the military. It became widely known as the weapon employed specifically by the SWT Teams, the most elite unit in the military, and some elements of the Goldmanian Marine Corps.

The plas-machine gun mk.3 is used by both high ranking DOCS in the police force and as a standard issue military weapon. No physical ammunition is fired, only plasma. There are no magazines, the gun is cooled by an internal CO2 system that prevents internal overheating. Plasma can melt through some of the hardest materials, unlike traditional street weapons, making it great for combat against anything wearing armor or using a shield. The design is lightweight and comfortable to hold.

The primary service weapon of the Soviet Armed Forces is the Automat Kalashnikova 74M, although it is currently being phased out in favour of the Automat Kalashnikova 12.
