The now-defunct military of the previous regime used the AK-101 as their main service weapon. As the military was dissolved and the government was replaced by a UN protectorate, there is now no real main service weapon, however, the current peacekeeping force (UNMES) is mainly made up of Greek peacekeepers in the islands and Turkish peacekeepers in the mainland territory, so G3 variants are common.

The primary service weapon of the Mevraqi military is the AK-74M, manufactured locally as the BA-22 (although most soldiers continue to call them AKs).

The Vichian main service weapon is the Stinger LMG

We use updated models of these in our modern deployments. While it may seem unconventional these guns are superior to most other main service weapons.

Currently the Belshek People's Army uses the AK-24 as their standard service rifle. It is an advanced remake of the AK-74 and has been in service since 2024. In the current year, 2052, the army is looking at producing gauss rifles to replace the aging AK-24, however these projects are not expected to produce results for some time. The Belshek People's Marine Corps commonly use heavier weapons in their capacity as power armored shock troopers, such as the RPG-35 man-portable multiple rocket launcher, the 20mm X-40 rotary cannon, the Projekt 5 handheld railgun and the Mk26 automatic grenade launcher. The Belshek People's Navy employs the AKS-24u submachine gun and the Saiga-30 semi-auto shotgun with buckshot, slugs and flechette rounds due to their versatility in the close-quarters environments they would endure during boarding actions.

The standardized rifle of the Federal Armed Forces is the FN SCAR chambered in 5.56×45mm ZDL. The standardized magazine size is 30 rounds. The standard number of magazines on a soldier would be a seven magazine carry with a eighth magazine already set inside the firearm. This is the standard rifle for all branches, however our space forces have a secondary standardized rifle.

The S23 is the standard service weapon of the Ymyian military, Minipol.

The S23 is a 12 gauge, select-fire, short recoil operated, bullpup shotgun. Capable of firing semi-auto or full-auto, the S23 feeds from a ten round box magazine, and has an effective range of 150 meters. As a smoothbore weapon, the S23 can fire a diverse variety of shotgun projectiles, such as, birdshot, flares, grenades, flechettes, and non-lethal munitions (i.e. beanbags and rubber bullets).

The S23 was designed and built with the pacifist principles of the Ymyian faith in mind. Therefore, the weapon is equipped with a computerized scope, locking the trigger whenever a target is within 100 meters. Each S23 has a computer installed in the grip, allowing the scope to calculate bullet drop, windage, and range to its user.

The Type-80 Infantry Rifle - a blast from the past?

Using a short-stroke gas-piston design with a rotating bolt, this rifle was developed by acquisition and comparison of many foreign types. The idea was to faciliate a modern Battle Rifle using a specifically developed "3/4" caliber that sits in between the "intermediate rounds" of the soviets and of NATO and the old full-size rifle rounds at 6x55mm that combined the best aspects of the Kalashnikov-series (ruggedness and ease of use) with the modularity and accuracy of its western rivals. As an article in western media put it: "The red chinese tried to make a better AK - for 20 years." The Type-80 rifle family has been in use, as its name implies, since its formal introduction in 1980, but development is the result of a decade of effort at least. The Type-60, its predecessor, was a rather strange AKM/SKS hybrid and while widely used and built in number, recognized as a step in the wrong direction as early as its employ in the Vietnam Intervention in 1968. Consequently 1970 saw the start of developments for a new assault/battle rifle. The elaborate wopoden furniture, the bayonet and the too small 20 round magazine as well as the lack of accuracy at range of the intermediate AK caliber adopted from the soviets lead to the development criteria being finalized for a full-caliber rifle. The new standard, so the decision, would however be equally focused on firing semi-auto, same as with the Type-60. Key features of the Type-80 as it is in use today are its monopod front grip, its 25-round polymer magazine and the muzzle-break/compensator combo. Polymer furniture and an adjustable skeleton shaft were used to reduce weight, but the Type-80 still comes in at a hefty 4.6 kg. It employs a two-stage selector for semi or full at a rate of 700rpm. This high rate was specifically designed since the use of fully-automated fire is mandated to be for close-quarters and emergencies alone in CSRA infantry drill. The Type-80 remains an almost totally unknown factor when gauging the CSRA infantry effectiveness, since it is mostly simply seen as further proof of the profound obnsolescence of the CSRA, but in US trials it scored surprisingly high on accuracy and reliability.

The current main service weapon for the Fostorian Imperial Army is the AR-12. Designed in 2011 to replace the AR-6, ZR-4, and ZR-78, it is a modern full-length assault rifle that fires the 7.7FR cartridge at 900rpm, with single, burst, and full-auto fire modes. It is capable of mounting all standard Fostorian military attachments and generally uses a 32-round magazine but can use 20, 44, 75, or 100 round magazines.

Edit: Information was outdated/changed

The Thalduhm Empire uses the M84 platform, a heavy caliber, full length rifle. The current model in service is the M84/m which improves upon the older model by updating the furniture of the rifle, larger magazine designs, and other smaller items. Despite the 'modernization' of the rifle, it still remains somewhat heavy when compared to other rifles within the region the Empire inhabits.

Since 2001, the Angelan People's Armed Forces have used the Zasha Type 21, a compact bullpup assault rifle, as its main service weapon. This replaced the old Type 50 of Liberation War-fame, which itself was based on the AK-47.
